Cavendish square is still offers a decent shopping experience with a wide variety of retail stores and notable fashion brands. Currently undergoing a few renovations but there plenty of room for improvement etc.

Very nice place to do your shopping the parking is a bit confusing but over time you get use to it. The service is very good and the security is very helpful. The mall can get very busy. Advise to go early in the mornings. otherwise very nice place to do your shopping.
Cavendish Square is my Third Favorite Shopping Mall and it looks Futuristic and it’s upgrading into a new design with new floors, new stores coming out and the lifts have talking voices, just like they did with Siri. I absolutely love this and I will recommend going there!
This mall is located in one of the busiest streets and its quite a nightmare getting past all the taxis. Luckily they do have under cover parking so that helps so much.
It has a large variety of stores from you regular run of the mill stores such as Pic n Pay and Truworths to more upmarket and expensive shops such as Aldo.
The mall while being beautiful, is not in the same league of Canal Walk or the Waterfront. aesthetically it is beautiful but not outstanding.
It does offer a great service though. The staff is amazing and the mall is spotlessly clean at all times.
I do wish that there was signage telling us where certain shops can be located. As the mall is massive it can get tedious trying to find a particular shop.
The mall has an amazing food court. Not very big, but a nice assortment of eateries to choose from. We especially go to Cavendish Square for its prawn curry and rotis. Simply the best👌
The layout may be disorientating at first but easy once you quickly get to know it.
Many great shops and it's very tidy.
A number of food options in a well laid out food court. A great shopping experience
After more than 25 years I visited Cavendish Square during my holiday in Cape Town. I literally grew up in Claremont cause back in the days my father worked as a parking attendant. Through my schooling and university I worked at Stuttafords to supplement my income in paying for my studies. Today, returning back, I found the mall developed into a monastery with new modernized buildings, breathtaking shops and even toilets with sensors toilet doors. Eventhough, the mall developed for the better I could find certain structural resembled futures still existing eg car park and the escalators. The mall grew in size and retail shops. The mall is mammoth and requires a tour, on its own, but I did find shopping experience most pleasurable. The variety of shops left me in awe. For now, I fancy 2 shops I found most delightful to visit and indulging. Parking appeared a challenge but I guess taking into account the variety of customer attractions it will remain a thorn. Can't wait for my next visit. Lastly, the xmas tree in the centre of the mall remains the highlight. Limnos Bakery, Fabiani and the Poetry shop I consider worthy to visit again, next year.
Great mall with all sorts of stores open until 7pm in the week. Very likely there is something of interest for everyone inside, if not around the mall too. Plenty parking. However the mall is situated in a central area, and since it has so much to offer, it can get very busy - especially on pay day weekend, then there is likely no availabile parking. But the mall is lovely.
Cavendish Square is one of the best shopping malls in Cape Town from my experience of having gone there for years, and seen it transform into its current chique look. It has a spacious layout, with plenty of natural light and ventilation that is so esthetically pleasing. The mall is clean and well-maintained, with modern facilities and amenities. The public toilets are spotless and accessible, with baby changing stations and wheelchair-friendly stalls. The parking is convenient and secure, with ample space and reasonable rates. The security is efficient and professional, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for shoppers. Cavendish Square offers a variety of stores, restaurants, entertainment options and services, catering to different tastes and needs. Whether I'm looking for fashion, food, fun or convenience, I will find it at Cavendish Square. It is a great place to spend a day with family or friends, or just to treat yourself to some retail therapy. I love Cavendish Square and I always enjoy visiting it!
Their annual charity book sale was phenomenal. Every stall owner engaged and hand picked a few titles for me. As a result I was laden with precious gifts when I finished
Cavendish is well situated between suburbs. This is an excellent mall to shop. It has Ster kinekor cinema and a well designed file court with various foods. I just love shopping at this mall
