The ice cream flavors are unique and there are always new options every time I go. It’s a great place to have a catch-up date with a friend or family member.
First timer, and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
I had the half and half grenadilla & choc chip and the 65% chocolate on a waffle with some roasted almonds on top, both flavors are AMAZEBALLS
This place makes me happy. My favourtie ice-cream place in Cape Town. Staff are ALWAYS friendly and let you test which flavours before you pick!
Ice-cream tastes so light and fresh. I don't find them to be overbearingly sweet nor rich but true to their flavour. My two favourites are the Salted Caramel and the Peanut Butter flavours. I always get the half and half for under R40 which is more than enough.
Every month they have a "Flavour of the Month". Which is exciting - this month was the Millionaires Shortbread (so YUM).
Waffles are 10/10 and they have new hot drinks: Malted hot chocolate, Matcha latte and Rooibos Caramel Latte.
I tried the new Warm Chocolate Pudding with a scoop of Millionaires Shortbread.
TIP: Get a loyalty card because you will be coming back often and they close at 11pm daily :)
Cape Town is a better place for having more branches of The Creamery! They’ve retained their charm through this expansion and - the reason for their existence - fantastic ice cream! I really enjoy that it is not just sugary, but genuine flavours.
The Palmyra Junction branch is one of my favourite because it’s relatively more quiet than the others.
I always have the waffles and just try a different topping and flavour every time.

Very good waffles and selection of unique ice cream flavours (sometimes too unique lol) but it's fun. The toppings are also great. Overall a cute place to indulge
One of the best places to get ice-cream or waffels. Love their unique, tasty flavours and the stores environment always gives off a fresh and fun feel! For the first time today I had their banana split with sea salt caramel (my personal fav) and peanut butter ice-cream. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Yum!
I am currently eating cornflakes milk flavored ice cream in bed while watching reruns of vetkoekpalies and I am being reminded of the times where I would wake up early on a Saturday morning to catch the best cartoons while eating a bowl of cereal in my mom's bed.....
The way that this flavor was captured is beyond amazing.... I love everything about it.... But I am biased when I say that because I am an avid fan of the Creamery...
Top flavors for me are birthday cake, carrot cake, millionaires shortbread, brownies and cream, Rocky road, coffee and sweet cream... And all topped with toasted marshmallow....
The service of all the stores has never disappointed me and I will continue to return for many days to come....
The Creamery never disappoints. Tried the Claremont for a change and as always we loved it. Actually thinking of getting ice cream right now. Keep up the good work. The waiters were very warm and welcoming
Love their honeycomb ice cream! Paired it with their waffles. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfect 👌 friendly service from behind the counter as well. My new favourite place for ice cream and waffles
The warm buttery chocolate chunk cookie, with a scoop of salted caramel ice-cream is pure decadence. Definitely a good pick me up for a blue Monday.
So, I'm giving this branch 5 stars because of the atmosphere it boasts. They close at 11 pm, which is amazing! We went at 9 pm last night and it was super awesome. You can sit indoors or outdoors. It's super cute as there's not much people around so you basically have the place to yourself. Their ice cream is always amazing. I had their hot chocolate, it's a no from me. However, the experience overall and service was quite good, so no complaints. Another great thing is their monthly flavour. It's great that they mix it up all the time.
Visited here recently after an afternoon out for some ice-cream before going home.
Really liked the location, found it to be warm and inviting, love the outdoor seating and decor.
As with other Creamery branches, it was a pleasant experience with great service and great array of fantastic flavours.
Toppings just make an already great ice-cream just a bit better.
Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing. We had waffles and ice cream. At first I was skeptical of the waffles, because the shape and look gives the impression that the texture is hard or tough, but cutting and biting into the waffles was an entire different world and feeling. The outside was crispy and evenly browned, whilst the inside was fresh, not too fluffy and warm. The waffle was thick and not paper thin, topped with generous amount of ice cream, and toppings or your choice which come at an extra price, though serving sizes were appropriate for the price, definitely money's worth.
The flavours of the ice cream that we took:-
(Half and half scoop)
* Sea salt caramel
* 65% chocolate
* Honeycomb crunch
* Lemon cheesecake
**and something with chocolate chunks in it
The toppings tried:-
*caramel sauce
*chocolate sauce
*almonds(toasted)
There was also adequate seating space, with a choice between inside or outside.
And last but not least, the service was superb, the staff were friendly and patient as we decided on our ice cream falvours and they made also made sure that we were comfortable in the Cafe. Keep up the good work 💪😄.
We are complete creamery addicts. Just bought 2 tubs on special at the Palmyra Junction and the friendly staff were just so helpful, I felt terrible that I didn't have more cash on me to put in the tip jar😟 They deserve a Bells play of the day, every day! Keep up the amazing ice cream flavours.
Best Waffles and ice cream around. Can due with better seating arrangements admit can become busy on hot afternoons. Little slow with the waffles but worth the wait if not to crowded
Really great place for some good Ice cream! I love the half and half option which allows you to have two ice cream flavors for a price lower than the 2 scoop price. Perfect for late night dessert.
Best waffles and ice cream especially the ice cream! The only place I have found my cookie dough ice cream and the honey crunch is just as good.

I had a lovely experience at the Creamery in Palmyra earlier today, The gentleman that helped us was super friendly and allowed us to take all the time we needed tasting the different icecream(unfortunately he did not give us his name and he did not have a name tag). I was specifically impressed that they had a dairy free alternative and it tasted really good, could be a bit on the sweet side because the chocolate is overbearing, more like a bit bitter so I think a bit of sugar will tone it down a bit. I am one person who does not have a sweet tooth but rather a lover of salt so Im being sincere about a lil bit of sweetness lacking on the vegan coconut and chocolate icecream. My waffle was also quite excellent 🥰..
It was the first time my friend was trying malva pudding and she was quite impressed with it🥰, I do also think that the option to have the malva with homemade custard and not icecream would be good as well, since there is icecream that has homemade custard in it.. I think it would be pretty cool actually
Overall a great 1st time, I’ll prolly be coming back for late night date with my husband after putting the kids to sleep🎉🎉
