The warm buttery chocolate chunk cookie, with a scoop of salted caramel ice-cream is pure decadence. Definitely a good pick me up for a blue Monday.

So, I'm giving this branch 5 stars because of the atmosphere it boasts. They close at 11 pm, which is amazing! We went at 9 pm last night and it was super awesome. You can sit indoors or outdoors. It's super cute as there's not much people around so you basically have the place to yourself. Their ice cream is always amazing. I had their hot chocolate, it's a no from me. However, the experience overall and service was quite good, so no complaints. Another great thing is their monthly flavour. It's great that they mix it up all the time.

Visited here recently after an afternoon out for some ice-cream before going home. Really liked the location, found it to be warm and inviting, love the outdoor seating and decor. As with other Creamery branches, it was a pleasant experience with great service and great array of fantastic flavours. Toppings just make an already great ice-cream just a bit better. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back.

👏👏👏 Absolutely amazing. We had waffles and ice cream. At first I was skeptical of the waffles, because the shape and look gives the impression that the texture is hard or tough, but cutting and biting into the waffles was an entire different world and feeling. The outside was crispy and evenly browned, whilst the inside was fresh, not too fluffy and warm. The waffle was thick and not paper thin, topped with generous amount of ice cream, and toppings or your choice which come at an extra price, though serving sizes were appropriate for the price, definitely money's worth. The flavours of the ice cream that we took:- (Half and half scoop) * Sea salt caramel * 65% chocolate * Honeycomb crunch * Lemon cheesecake **and something with chocolate chunks in it The toppings tried:- *caramel sauce *chocolate sauce *almonds(toasted) There was also adequate seating space, with a choice between inside or outside. And last but not least, the service was superb, the staff were friendly and patient as we decided on our ice cream falvours and they made also made sure that we were comfortable in the Cafe. Keep up the good work 💪😄.

We are complete creamery addicts. Just bought 2 tubs on special at the Palmyra Junction and the friendly staff were just so helpful, I felt terrible that I didn't have more cash on me to put in the tip jar😟 They deserve a Bells play of the day, every day! Keep up the amazing ice cream flavours.

Best Waffles and ice cream around. Can due with better seating arrangements admit can become busy on hot afternoons. Little slow with the waffles but worth the wait if not to crowded

Really great place for some good Ice cream! I love the half and half option which allows you to have two ice cream flavors for a price lower than the 2 scoop price. Perfect for late night dessert.

I had a lovely experience at the Creamery in Palmyra earlier today, The gentleman that helped us was super friendly and allowed us to take all the time we needed tasting the different icecream(unfortunately he did not give us his name and he did not have a name tag). I was specifically impressed that they had a dairy free alternative and it tasted really good, could be a bit on the sweet side because the chocolate is overbearing, more like a bit bitter so I think a bit of sugar will tone it down a bit. I am one person who does not have a sweet tooth but rather a lover of salt so Im being sincere about a lil bit of sweetness lacking on the vegan coconut and chocolate icecream. My waffle was also quite excellent 🥰.. It was the first time my friend was trying malva pudding and she was quite impressed with it🥰, I do also think that the option to have the malva with homemade custard and not icecream would be good as well, since there is icecream that has homemade custard in it.. I think it would be pretty cool actually Overall a great 1st time, I’ll prolly be coming back for late night date with my husband after putting the kids to sleep🎉🎉

The ice cream flavors are unique and there are always new options every time I go. It’s a great place to have a catch-up date with a friend or family member.

Probably going to get crucified for this review, but the ice cream here did not wow me. It’s a tad grainy and not velvety smooth as you’d expect from an upmarket ice cream parlor. Seems like all the cool insta kids hang out here though. <br/><br/>The waffles do look yum though... perhaps I’ll give that a go next time.

This place makes me happy. My favourtie ice-cream place in Cape Town. Staff are ALWAYS friendly and let you test which flavours before you pick!<br/><br/>Ice-cream tastes so light and fresh. I don't find them to be overbearingly sweet nor rich but true to their flavour. My two favourites are the Salted Caramel and the Peanut Butter flavours. I always get the half and half for under R40 which is more than enough. <br/><br/>Every month they have a "Flavour of the Month". Which is exciting - this month was the Millionaires Shortbread (so YUM).<br/><br/>Waffles are 10/10 and they have new hot drinks: Malted hot chocolate, Matcha latte and Rooibos Caramel Latte.<br/><br/>I tried the new Warm Chocolate Pudding with a scoop of Millionaires Shortbread.<br/><br/>TIP: Get a loyalty card because you will be coming back often and they close at 11pm daily :)

If you like Belgian waffles this is the place to go. Personally not a fan but they do give healthy portions of Ice Cream. Always a nice vibe

Cape Town is a better place for having more branches of The Creamery! They’ve retained their charm through this expansion and - the reason for their existence - fantastic ice cream! I really enjoy that it is not just sugary, but genuine flavours.

The Palmyra Junction branch is one of my favourite because it’s relatively more quiet than the others. <br/><br/>I always have the waffles and just try a different topping and flavour every time.

Very good waffles and selection of unique ice cream flavours (sometimes too unique lol) but it's fun. The toppings are also great. Overall a cute place to indulge

One of the best places to get ice-cream or waffels. Love their unique, tasty flavours and the stores environment always gives off a fresh and fun feel! For the first time today I had their banana split with sea salt caramel (my personal fav) and peanut butter ice-cream. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Yum!

I really enjoy coming to the creamery and i regularly visit the newlands one for their famous waffles. I recently discovered the hidden away creamery at palmyra junction,small and cosy. However upon entering i saw the lady by the paypoint raise her arm and point and to my disgust her armpit hair was so bad. Shouldn't personal hygiene be a big issue for you seeing that you work with food. I immediately walked out. She has a short black fringe and specs. Please take it up with her. Not returning to that branch

I am currently eating cornflakes milk flavored ice cream in bed while watching reruns of vetkoekpalies and I am being reminded of the times where I would wake up early on a Saturday morning to catch the best cartoons while eating a bowl of cereal in my mom's bed.....<br/><br/>The way that this flavor was captured is beyond amazing.... I love everything about it.... But I am biased when I say that because I am an avid fan of the Creamery...<br/><br/>Top flavors for me are birthday cake, carrot cake, millionaires shortbread, brownies and cream, Rocky road, coffee and sweet cream... And all topped with toasted marshmallow....<br/><br/>The service of all the stores has never disappointed me and I will continue to return for many days to come....

The Creamery never disappoints. Tried the Claremont for a change and as always we loved it. Actually thinking of getting ice cream right now. Keep up the good work. The waiters were very warm and welcoming

This is probably my favourite Creamery outlet because of how low-key it is, and relatively quiet compared to their other stores. <br/><br/>I had a waffle with a double scoop of Rosetta roast dry coffee and a season flavour, which was absolutely delicious and satisfying. <br/><br/>Service was good and staff were friendly.

The Creamery never disappoints - best home made ice cream in Cape Town. I love the consistency from store to store so you always know you are going to the the same high quality product and service.

First time visiting The Creamery yesterday! After seeing all the positive reviews on Zomato, I decided to try it out for myself and must say that this place definitely lived up to those expectations! The ice-cream is super tasty and creamy and I love the variety of flavors on offer - from fruity mango to classic sweet cream to decadent chocolate to unusual olive oil, you're sure to find one you like! They will let you taste beforehand to ensure you're happy with your choice before you purchase. My friend had a single sugar cone with 65% chocolate. My sister and I couldn't choose so the guy who helped us told us about the 'half and half' option and we went for that. I went for the millionaires shortbread (flavor of the month) and mango while my sister went for millionaires shortbread and sweet cream. I'm definitely keen to come back next time to try one of their decadent waffles!

Same great ice cream, same friendly service and of course same great waffles. The only downfall of this location is it is less airy and bright than the Newlands location therefore I prefer to get whatever I am having as a take-away.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I no longer need to mission to Newlands to get my Creamery fix! The ice cream from here is amazing and lives up to the 'cream' in the name. The taste and creaminess never fails and the service is prompt - even during peak times. If you're looking for a new ice cream place to try out give this one a try.

I would sell 1/4 of my soul for this ice cream - waffle combination. Seriously, I think I went home floating on a cloud that day. An ice cream topped waffle cloud made by the tears of an angel. I'm done.

It's really great that they are open till 11pm as there are really few places for people who enjoy conversation with friends till late instead of 'clubbing' or 'pubbing'. The ice cream is priced right, but It's not Gelato...

It's hot and the flavour of the month at @thecreamerysa is Coconut Lime Swirl. It's not an indulgence as much as it is a necessity. Not too sweet (ice cream can sometimes leave me feeling quite thirsty), and all of the delicious ingredients come through in a perfectly harmonious way.

Great tasting product. Milkshakes are the clear winner for me. The changing variety of flavours week after week makes me return over and over again.

When I'm feeling a bit down, I almost always head to The Creamery for a waffle and 2 scoops - Sweet Cream and Prickly Passion with some torched 'mallows. It always makes me feel super happy 😊🍦🍦🍦

Obviously I'm a huge fan of the creamery. It's the best, I've had everything on their menu by now. I'm a sucker for their waffles topped with marshmallow.

I must say this is my least favorite store out of the 3 locations but hey when the a ice cream & waffle craving hits that's the least of your worries. We had originally gone to the Newlands store only to be told that their waffle machine was broken, but lucky for us this branch was close by.<br/>Such friendly young upbeat staff made this indulgent visit that much sweeter. <br/>Please consider bringing waffles to your Moullie Point branch 🙏🏻

Some of the best ice cream in Cape Town. Lines get really long during peak times but worth the wait. The servers are friendly and the flavours unique. I love the banana split (with chocolate sauce) and an occasional waffle.

My absolute favourite, no matter how plain it is, is the sweetmilk. Topped with roasted marshmallow, in a sugar cone. Sugar heaven! If you're feeling extravagant, add some banana and fudge. So tasty!

I visited this branch for the first time last night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The store is very cute and isn't as cramped as the one in new lands which is really nice along with the fact you can find parking easily! The ice cream was as good as it usually is!

Yay for this branch of The Creamery having ample parking in Palmyra Junction, being open on a Monday and having great service and delicious ice-cream! <br/>I ordered the banana split with peanut butter cup ice-cream, with toasted almonds and caramel sauce... My absolute favourite banana split and definitely the reason I'll keep going back.

New store but pretty much has the same set up as the branch in Newlands. Had the birthday cake ice cream and was disappointed. Extremely sweet and tasted very grainy. The strawberry was a winner though.

With unique flavors this little ice cream parlor seems to never disappoint. The size of their scoopes are huge and their prices aren't to steep compared to some of the other ice cream stores. Definitely worth the buck. I definitely recommend the creamery !

After my 100th visit to the creamery! I finally ordered something other than the waffles & a scoop and also remembered to actually capture the moment (that's how good their waffles & ice cream is - I forgot to take a picture as I got lost in the goodness !) <br/>This banana split sundae I got was soooo goood with perfectly brûlée'd bananas. toooooo many toasted almonds though 😷😷 but overall a good bowl!

Such a great little concept and name. Great location and decor with rich creamy ice cream flavor smells wafting down the road. <br/>Fantastic varied flavor choices. BUT their dispensing system is pathetic. The slowest service ever! It makes you so annoyed and infuriated you want to leave, before buying.

Tried out this one today. We're so lucky to have both branches so close to home. This one is a little smaller. Service is also very very slow. It took ages to taste and order flavours and then again ages to pay. <br/><br/>I had the pumpkin pie flavour tonight. So creamy and delicious. It tastes a lot like Soji, an Indian dessert.

As good as any! Delicious ice cream and the BEST waffles in town - my favourite is sweet cream with caramel sauce and toasted almonds! DELICIOUS. Great ice cream, great coffee, great service, great vibe.

I had a really good experience here last night. The staff were really friendly and chatty which is awesome. Such a good time that I forgot to take pictures. Oops.<br/>I had the masala tea flavor which tasted like chai tea. My friend and I were actually wanting tea with it afterwards. The latest.offering from the Creamery is certainly the most dangerously, erm, I mean conveniently located. Lovely and sacious inside, I popped in to try the new Woodstocky Road, delicious, but not my favourite. As usual, friendly and good service.

I walked past and told myself I wasn't going to go in. I lasted about half an hour. I went in.<br/><br/>I had the most amazing ginger and apple ice cream which didn't last more than 2 minutes after I made the mistake of giving my family a taste. I had it on a yummy, light waffle. The staff were friendly and fun :). The creamery always makes my day.

I was curious to visit the new store and think it's my favourite of all the branches. Decorated in the familiar mint green colours, spacious with outside seating and draws you to go inside. This months flavour is woodstoky road - their take on a rocky road made with chocolate ice cream, coffee, toasted marshmallow and shortbread crumble. It's as good as it sounds. A large scoop is the perfect treat on a hot day... or just any day will do!!

Update: as of last week this was my favorite branch for my weekly waffle and sea salt caramel fix. I was however extremely disappointed to receive a raw waffle, so much so that it was inedible. <br/><br/>The employee was kind enough to apologize and make me a new one but the second one was only a bit better. I felt so bad because he was waiting to see what I think so I told him it was okay to save him from the burden. <br/><br/>The ice cream never disappoints although they were out of sea salt caramel, I decided to try sweet cream and popcorn which was good. <br/><br/>

Absolutely loved visiting the new Creamery! It was super busy and quite hard to find a table. The service is friendly and the waffles are still as great. The flavour of the month is cookie dough and it's incredible - definitely stop in soon!

So excited to see this store open just on our doorstep at Palmyra Junction so along we trotted for their fabulous ice cream and waffles.<br/><br/>The store is a little smaller than the Newlands branch and is located next to Knead and opposite Woolies.<br/><br/>The interesting flavours that caught my eye today were black tea, peanut butter and salted caramel. I chose the latter and hubby had the creamed ice cream. His waffle arrived before mine and was finished before mine arrived. Not the best timing. The ratio of ice cream to waffle is a bit off - way too much icecream. The waffles were both extra crispy - I like a slightly soft centre.<br/><br/>We both had iced lattes which were watery & tasteless. The service could do with a bit of attention as the staff were happy to continue chattering amongst themselves instead of serving the customers standing patiently at the counter.
