I liked this restaurant although I didn't eat but had cocktails only. It has nice views when seating outside. Their food looks nice and appetising on the menu. The customer service is good also. I'll definitely come back for cocktails and that time I'll eat.

Went there for my birthday and booked tables for 25 to 30 people in advanced. Lulu assisted with booking and also the other servers made sure that we were fine throughout the night. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. All of the drinks were well made. I enjoyed my entire experience and so did all of my guests. Even the bathrooms were clean and neat. Definitely a 10/10. The music was also great and everyone had a great time. Looking forward to going there again. My photo quality wasn't great but everything was great.

Wow. The owner is super friendly and caring. The bacon was crispy. Really good french toast. The chai spiced tea was one of the best I have had. Great menu. Definately will recomend it to friends.

News Cafe has reopened after the sinkhole was repaired. Looking great, comfy outdoor seating, wide menu selection and the meal was fantastic! Worth it to support them 😏

Awesome experience the vibe is back I ordered a platter which was delicious! It's been recently renovated so the place looks exquisite!

Chilled spot ..the waitress was lovely..it's clean tho staff member( foreign national lady)was on the fone and just too loud for my liking..not child friendly at all..no play area watsoever otherwise overall it's a chilled spot I could do it again anyday

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Can practice tee-off on the driving range l, enjoy some drinks and delicious food. Personal experience, their braai broodjies, steaks and baskets are top notch.

Nice and quiet on a Sunday morning. Neat and clean tables. Good drinks selection. Staff and management very knowledgeable. Food is always prepared from scratch, very tasty. Zero frozen food used. You can taste it. Portions are just right and well priced. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, their chicken sandwich is definitely a 10/10, as well as their loaded fries, crispy bacon is always a winner, and the cheeseburger springrolls is to die for. Service was great and the manager is very friendly and funny. Would definitely recommend to others!

The place is just great, although a bit pricey but worth it. The food is amazing. The setting of the place is such that it accommodates people who smoke in the outside space and the inside is open and has a couple of high seats and nice couches. The staff is super nice and the manager as well, which reminds me I have to check their Instagram page since some of my pictures are there

I enjoyed myself at the restaurant, as the service was great. I also enjoyed my food and they were delicious, I must say. I would definitely go again with another meal.

Newly revamped & proudly “going green”, the restaurant in Dié Hoewes does NOT disappoint! GREAT SERVICE, awesome ambience & spectacular times await any and all who pop by for a yummy cocktail or bite to eat ;) so what’re you waiting for?!?

Newscafe is a good spot for drinks with friends. The atmosphere is chilled and enjoyable. Service is average. I wouldn't recommend the Mexican dishes such as enchiladas.

I was looking forward to my night out at news cafe with a friend.I know this place has a nice vibe with the music they play,nice cocktails as well as my favourite starter of jalapeño poppers. When I arrived,I was met by friendly Waitrons and since this place is big I could choose a seat as it wasn't full. I ordered my starter and cocktail. The menu is full of pictures which makes it easier to choose what you would like. The vibe was up beat with people enjoying it and even dancing at their tables. I must say,my jalapeño poppers was a disappointment,they were not like I first tasted them,i was in fact only tasting the potatoe this time round. My friend ordered the same dish and it wasn't served with the same sauces,this indicates that their dishes are not consistent. I want to return a month end when they are busy as I'm sure there will be even more dancing then.

Used to be one of my favorite places to chill out and have drinks. The cocktails are great and the food baskets are amazing. I usually go for the chicken strips and chips. This is my comfort. A good chill out place for the weekends.<br/><br/>I tried out their new menu.... wow amazing. Neeta Raga-D

I love the snack basket, hubby goes for the crumbed chicken and I go for the calamari rings.<br/><br/>The cocktails are great! News cafe has a chilled vibe. I pop in occasionally after my haircut next door.<br/><br/>Lovely as a chill out place after work.<br/><br/>The food is good and the waitrons are friendly!<br/><br/>I had a toasted cheese sandwich which I was craving and hubby had the beef sliders.

Great spot for after work drinks. The Seductive strawberry just needed a bit more kick, but the frozen margarita was wonderful (wish there were more flavour options). We had the bacon and cheese fries- the bacon crispy- , very very yummy and filling, great for sharing. We will be back!

If it's Saturday night and you don't know what to do and don't wanna party it up, trust me, go here. The vibes are chilled and the food is amazing. I've never rated a cafe so high, but guys, try out the deep fried calamari and tell me what you think. The cocktails are too too brilliant as well. The toasted sandwiches make me smile, but all that aside the highlight of our night is always the nachos 👊 it beats quite a few places out there.

This place is awesome for a chilled afternoon drink but the food seems to be lacking somewhat. Nachos were soggy and wrap lacked flavour....

I found this branch underwhelming. They never seem to have basic stock and the general vibe of the place feels very "run-down". They need to revamp it.

The drinks are really nice but the owner/manager is quite rude and impolite.
