What an absolutely wonderful meal and experience we had. Outstanding food and ingredients - a true treat. If you want to make it even better, try their smashing wine pairing... delicious! The service itself is from out of this world - we were assisted by Ethan and Sid who were wonderful - just like the rest of staff. Still dreaming about it and honestly, can not recommend enough. A MUST when in Cape Town, for sure.
What an incredible restaurant from the moment you arrive you are welcomed by the friendly staff who escort you to your table that has the most beautiful views. The food is next level and complimented with an exceptional wine selection. This is definitely my new favourite restaurant and will be returning soon.
Visited Salsify during our stay in Cape Town and we were so impressed!! The food was incredible, the whole experience was magical. Service was excellent (shout out to Ethan) and loved all the details throughout the dinner (i.e. you’re given the kitchen docket for you order at the end of your dinner which was such a nice touch!)
The kitchen caters for vegetarians as well and were very careful to ask about any dietary restrictions.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salsify in Cape Town, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant until the very last bite, everything about Salsify was impeccable.
The service at Salsify was impeccable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that every need was met without being intrusive. From the moment I was seated, I felt like a valued guest, and the knowledge and passion demonstrated by the waitstaff elevated the experience even further. They were always ready to provide recommendations and answer any questions, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable afternoon.

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing tasting menu ! Wonderful service from start to end. Felt very personal and loved the art throughout. So many small beautiful touches ( even the knives were art !) highly recommended.
I must express my sheer delight at the incredible experience I had recently. Without a doubt, it ranks among the best dining experiences of my life. I had the privilege of savoring the tasting menu, expertly paired with exquisite wines. Every course was a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to tantalize the senses. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were truly extraordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone. However, be sure to book in advance, as this is an opportunity not to be missed and tends to be in high demand.

Certainly one of the top rated specialty restaurants available in Cape Town at the moment. Top quality table service staff, meal presentation and explanation by kitchen specialists and waiter staff. 10 course Chefs menu available or a reduced option menu for a slightly less adventurous eater. Food exquisitely presented and the care and passion of the “taster” portions are a feast to the eye and the palette!!!
Oh la la. What to say? My favorite fine dining restaurant in Cape Town. The building itself is pretty enchanting, an old heritage round-house with the old Cape Dutch windows looking over Camps Bay. Then the food is so delicate, so precise, so beautiful (literally, the plating is 10/10 with the mini pop-corn and mini-mushroom as decor). You can either pick a reduced menu or the whole experience. Did both and both are super satisfying. Their bubbly is crispy cold, the melted butter with brioche bread and everything else is perfect. I think I went 5 times already and looking forward to more !!

This is a wonderful, upmarket restaurant. It's very difficult to get a table but after a couple of amuse bouches, we got moved from the inner part of the restaurant to the main dining area. It's quite a small restaurant hence the difficulty in booking.
We went for the full chefs menu at Rand 1550 with seven courses. We didn't have the wine option which cost about the same again.
The courses were small but absolutely amazing. The mixes of flavours and textures were terrific.
The service was a bit and miss. They kept forgetting things and we seemed to have many different waiters throughout the meal.
A mandatory service charge of 12.5% was added to the bill.
