We ordered a full chicken and 3 sides, the new Mozam Paprika sauce was nice, but the roast vegetables oily. The guy that took our order was great, but when we collected, one of the ladies behind the counter read out the incorrect order number and after about 5 minutes of us waiting another lady asked what our order number was and it was indeed the bag standing there ready to go the entire time. Thanks to that our chips were cold.
Tried nandos plumstead. Never knew there was one. Ordered extra hot leg quarter . Whatever happened to extra hot guys. Chicken delicious but not even hot. Services was awesome . In our time there had 2 managers come over to check on us. So many restaurants can learn from that nowadays. Keep up the good work
i find this to be one of the better nando's. the staff are lovely and service very efficient. the manager is always making sure everyone is okay when sitting in. always return.

So last night the rain starts pouring and the time ticks by and I haven't organised dinner. New to the southern suburbs I looked up our options for take out. Seeing the current rating on zomato, I was a little bit wary -but wow, was I surprised!
Phoned nandos to place a take away order we could pick up. The staff member who took our order was polite and the while thing took only a few minutes. She repeated the order back perfectly. When asked for the expected time it would take, we were told 10-12 minutes. At 6:45 pm on a Friday I was highly skeptical, but they totally delivered on their quoted time! Such great service (I have had horror stories of trying to place phone orders and it taking waaaay too long) , and as such deserving of a high rating.
Food itself was great. My 1/4 chicken and peri chips were lovely. So pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Happy to get take out from this branch again. Pity they do not offer free delivery though! No pictures as we were super hungry and couldn't wait to eat!

You know, after reading a few reviews about Nando's Plumstead, I must add my own. Since the first time I stepped in to Nando's Plumstead many years ago, the one thing that stuck in my mind was the cleanliness. What a pleasure it was to sit down for a quick, after shopping, or 'on-the-road-bite.' That always remained with me. So after returning a few times, when I'm in the area, I found the place still clean & neat, staff still friendly & welcoming (accomodating). So ja,...Yesterday I popped in again for a light lunch, on my way to beautiful Simonstown. Still clean, still helpfull & friendly staff, which really is a must (plus) everywhere you eat, considering it is a 'chain-outlet.' So I had a piece of chicken & a BEAUTIFUL FRESHLY PREPARED salad & I was not dissapointed. I did test them though, to order tea, instead of the 'common' coke (and I am certainly not a "commoner" even for a light meal) . They asked for warm/cold milk & I further opted for brown sugar (not 'common' for a chain-outlet)...and behold...brown sugar with my five roses & warm milk....to think it was only a 'on-the-road' quick light lunch. When you go there, remember it is a clean, friendly Nando's, not the Twelve Apostles.
I much prefer this Nandos to the one in Rosmead where i get burnt chicken everytime. Its much closer to home and the service is really good. Food is great! Plus its where we got my daughter's first ever kiddies meal 😀
Had lunch here recently. The food was okay, but was better than I expected since my last visit. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Some of the tables still needed to be cleared from the previous customers, but otherwise the place was pretty clean.
I sometimes pop in here after gym when I'm too lazy to make a meal. In the evening it is quite easy to find parking. The thing I like about this Nandos is that the staff are extra friendly. It feels like they try a bit harder to keep their customers happy. Food is usually made quickly. My usual (chicken strips and spicy rice / chicken wrap) always taste good.
Friendly staff. Clean venue. Brightly decorated.
I usually order the mild pita which varies day to day. Quite pricey but the food is fresh and tasty.
