ts my favourite lunch spot in OBZ i have lost track of the number of times i have eaten there and i have never been disappointed. The menu is quite varied, but theres something for everyone. I love the Crispy Pork, the Chicken Fried Rice and the Kung pau Chicken !!
Had sushi and dim sum here and they were pretty good.
Sushi is well priced, service is decent. Pleasant decor. I would definitely say this place is worth the price.
Amazing. We had the Char Sui Bao and Potstickers as well as the Hot Sour Soup and Seafood Ramen. Super fresh and amazing ingredients! We will definitely be back! Amazing prices and awesome food.

For sushi in Cape Town the prices are cheap and the sushi is fresh, I recommend the tempura 👍 and of course the 38 piece linkos feast is always a delicious challenge.
For main courses, the portions are huge!!
Wine is cheap and the staff are friendly 🍸

Excuse my french but I lost my "sushi virginity" @ Linko in 2017 and have been having orgasmic sushi ever since! :)
Today as always at Linko,It is a chilled and relaxed vibe with a nice welcoming waiter.
I had the salmon maki and crunchy tempura prawns plus the pan fried pork dumplings and i have to tell you it was worth every bite :)
The maki was invitingly fresh and you could just smell the nuri floating,the tempura was served hot and crunchy,the dumplings with the amazing sear from the pan and to top of it with my all time favourite of savanna dry :)

Considering it’s location, I was initially weary to place an order via UberEATS but it became one of my go-tos when I lived in Obs.
It’s the best sushi in Cape Town for me. Well made and so so fresh.
I’m not going to lie, I love Linko. It’s good honest authentic Asian cuisine so don’t expect “fine dining”
I work a stone-throw away from Linko and it’s my go-to place when I’m indecisive about lunch. The food is always fresh and tasty and I like the fact that all the dishes taste different, not doused with tons of soya.
My favourite is the Crispy pork, so much so that there are times I crave it. The Kung Pao is for those days when you want something spicy, but there really are tons to choose from. The sushi is good as well.
The décor, is plain and some would say dingy, best suited for those of us that want to reminisce about that student life perhaps, but I don’t mind or care really beacause the food is amazing.
Sushi and Chinese is great! Love the pan fried pork dumplings :) Also a huge fan of the beef chop suey. The portion sizes are really big, great value for money.
Linko's has great sushi specials during lunch. The sushi is always good and they are reasonably priced. They also have a big menu, with lots of Chinese dishes too. I generally get the chicken chow mein which is a generous portion. The fried dumplings are also a great choice. The staff is very friendly and the food generally arrives quickly.
Linko's is a really great place to have decent sushi at pocket friendly prices. I have been going there for years and I even go all the way from Plumstead just to get their Sushi as take out. The service is friendly rather than formal so if you are wanting a fine dining experience, do not expect to get it from here. For an informal restraunt it honestly gets a 5 star rating and you will not find a more friendly place.
The best salmon sashimi I've ever tasted. The hype behind this place is valid. Delicious, unique sushi in a quint little place, fitting for Obs. Must try!

Absolute favorite place for sushi 🍣 and some wine 🍷. Service is incredible. The owner was aware that a friend and I were quite threatened by some of the homeless people and numerously tried to intervene which was comforting. The easthetic feels so genuine that it felt like an out of South African experience. The food is really good highly recommend their dumplings which is served as a complimentary side of any platter. There are also specials during the week which you can look out for.
What an incredible surprise! Home made boa and hand rolled pot stickers perfectly balanced with their dips and the best hot hot Szechuan hot hot chilli beef with well chosen vegetables in a bean broth … ambrosial and worthy of any Neijiang Buddhism Sagga. Will definitely be back.
I went based on a friend recommendation for dumplings as it's hand made. We wanted the full experience so we tried all types ; steamed pork, pan fried pork, mixed veg and pork wontons, streamed prawn and beef bao buns. I was so stuffed so I got me a oolong tea to digest everything. It was quite lovely. I just did not enjoy the steamed prawn as it was quite bland but the rest was really great. I'll definitely come again to have their sushi
This is honestly my most recommended and favourite place in the world, whether it be a takeaway or dine in. Their food is immaculate and service that compliments it. We drive all the way from Mitchell's Plain to get it and I truly think it'll most probably be a craving I'd have if I were ever to be pregnant one day lol. Such a fan of Linkos and definitely a hill I wish to die on.
A great spot for lunch, prices are decent and the food is AMAZING!!! Also they are generous when it comes to their portion sizes! I would highly recommend trying out their dumplings and egg fried rice 👌🏼
Linko is a charming, welcoming space in the heart of Obs, with a vibey, semi-eclectic decor that I really enjoyed. The interior is a lot bigger than it appears from the street, and thoughtful laid out for both main menu or sushi dining. The price points of the food are great and the online menu is up to date (just click the website link in the Google location above). Both the usual sushi and stir-fry based options are available, and it's a quick and tasty affair.
Although younger kids may not be super entertained by this dining experience, it is a great option for both family outings and date nights. The location makes the usual Obs parking Olympics unavoidable, but you could always park a little distance away (e.g. the lot opposite the Spar) and walking across. It is possible to find closer spots out of peak times, though.
Staff here are friendly and responsive and the owner clearly cares about his food, guests, and ambience. Worth a visit.
Love Linko’s. Their dumplings are definitely worth it and reasonably priced. They have weekday specials. We have made this place our quiet date night spot on Wed and Thu and go here solely for they chinese meals, fried rice and dumpling boxes. The sushi is fresh, but the preparation and technique something to be improved as the sushi is a bit bulky.
