The staff at the CBD branch are always friendly and their gelato is super good. They always have great flavours and they always change it up so that everytime you go you have different options. We had the white mint chocolate chip , peanut butter, pistachio and chocolate. They are open late so that's a win!
I was so happy to finally find ice cream that I love. All the most recently named best ice cream places have disappointed me. Moro though was delicious and creamy and just love the wafer and the runny chocolate on top. The staff are warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
Without a doubt the best gelato I have had the pleasure to eat....wish u guys could open one in Johannesburg.Gilmore was a superb host and so helpful and patient with our kids...would def come to Cape Town again just for Moro😋
Lovely gelato! The pistachio flavor is really good. The interior is beautiful but there isn’t much space on the inside to enjoy your ice cream.
Never had before kinda ice cream 🍦 Fell in love instantly. Wish quantity was little more for the money we spent. If ever plan for a franchise in India, remember me. I am in.

1. The Decor is Amazing! With a very classy and old school look to the golden lids, the look of the place really adds to the experience!😍
2. The Menu is Amazing! They only have 5 options of each type of ice cream (Gelato, Sorbet, Ice Cream) but the options are very diverse and done well, there were no bad flavours!😋😋
3. The Prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the ice cream itself comes with a chocolate dipped Wafer which I wish they had a whole bag of for sale on it's own!😢😢
By far the creamiest Gelato/Sorbet/Ice Cream I've ever had and the flavours are strong but very well balanced!
PS. This is after trying 2 other highly rated ice cream places on the same night😂

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. They allow you to taste 2 flavours before you decide. 50 for medium size you can choose up to 3 flavours. The gelato were very creamy and rich.definitely will come back next time when I’m in Cape Town.

Love that you can pick 2 flavours with the small cups. Love that it’s unusual flavours. Love that they stick a round wafer freshly drizzled in chocolate goodness in your ice cream. Just love!
I had the Halva gelato with the granadilla sorbet. My brother had the pistachio gelato with the grapefruit and mint sorbet. The halva has hints of Middle Eastern sesame dessert vibes to it. The sorbets were super refreshing. That grapefruit sorbet would make the perfect palate cleanser between a multi course meal. Super tart! But so refreshing!

It's good, and marginally cheaper than other gelato outlets in Capetown. In CBD, it's the best in terms of taste and variety.
Woolworths does offer a creamy pistachio ice cream of comparable quality in 500 ml tub for R 103
This is the second branch of Moro Gelato I visited. The service is very good and their Gelato is really amazing! they had a nice selection of tasty flavors to choose from.
Another nice treat was their hot chocolate.
The location is tiny, but also makes the place feel cosy.
Cute little aesthetic gelato place situated on long street. Slightly more expensive but definitely worth that delicious gelato. You can do some taste tests before ordering, you can get more than one flavour in either a cup or a cone. There's seating areas outside and inside. However, the space is quite petite. They're open till 11pm which is great for the late night cravings. overall 10/10.
Always wanted to try it. It was lovely. The ice cream was delicious. The hot chocolate is good but it is quite thick and has a coffee texture to it. I would come back. They just need a new card machine.

Let's start with Liberty, his service was amazing. Was our first time at Moro and he explained everything from the vegan options to regular gelato. We had an awesome first time visit and ended up having seconds. The environment is clean, warm and inviting. The gelato was amazing. Awesome experience and definitely worth the visit.

It is as good as everyone says. The hit chocolate is like drinking melted chocolate. You get to choose a Gelato topping or cream. You can even keep the cute jar it comes in if you want. Nah, then I'd have to wash it. 🤣

Scoops are big, so we definitely overdid it- no regrets though.

Adorable little shop on long street with so many different flavours of ice cream. Had the strawberries and cream and black Forrest in a small cone, the cone and wafer were also both delicious. Friendly staff too, highly recommended.
