It's good, and marginally cheaper than other gelato outlets in Capetown. In CBD, it's the best in terms of taste and variety. Woolworths does offer a creamy pistachio ice cream of comparable quality in 500 ml tub for R 103

This is the second branch of Moro Gelato I visited. The service is very good and their Gelato is really amazing! they had a nice selection of tasty flavors to choose from. Another nice treat was their hot chocolate. The location is tiny, but also makes the place feel cosy.

Cute little aesthetic gelato place situated on long street. Slightly more expensive but definitely worth that delicious gelato. You can do some taste tests before ordering, you can get more than one flavour in either a cup or a cone. There's seating areas outside and inside. However, the space is quite petite. They're open till 11pm which is great for the late night cravings. overall 10/10.

Always wanted to try it. It was lovely. The ice cream was delicious. The hot chocolate is good but it is quite thick and has a coffee texture to it. I would come back. They just need a new card machine.

Let's start with Liberty, his service was amazing. Was our first time at Moro and he explained everything from the vegan options to regular gelato. We had an awesome first time visit and ended up having seconds. The environment is clean, warm and inviting. The gelato was amazing. Awesome experience and definitely worth the visit.

Yum - just Yum! What a treat - quality Gelato like I haven't had in 30 years. Pistachio & Lemon Meringue for me, as good as any I have ever had. A fine way to finish any meal!
Riki Armstrong
It is as good as everyone says. The hit chocolate is like drinking melted chocolate. You get to choose a Gelato topping or cream. You can even keep the cute jar it comes in if you want. Nah, then I'd have to wash it. 🤣
Stefan Bussels
Very well done, this. Cute styling of a gelato spot, with kind people working there, serving pretty good quality gelato. Scoops are big, so we definitely overdid it- no regrets though. Also: they’re open pretty late- bonus!

Adorable little shop on long street with so many different flavours of ice cream. Had the strawberries and cream and black Forrest in a small cone, the cone and wafer were also both delicious. Friendly staff too, highly recommended.

The staff at the CBD branch are always friendly and their gelato is super good. They always have great flavours and they always change it up so that everytime you go you have different options. We had the white mint chocolate chip , peanut butter, pistachio and chocolate. They are open late so that's a win!

I was so happy to finally find ice cream that I love. All the most recently named best ice cream places have disappointed me. Moro though was delicious and creamy and just love the wafer and the runny chocolate on top. The staff are warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Without a doubt the best gelato I have had the pleasure to eat....wish u guys could open one in Johannesburg.Gilmore was a superb host and so helpful and patient with our kids...would def come to Cape Town again just for Moro😋
Leah
Lovely gelato! The pistachio flavor is really good. The interior is beautiful but there isn’t much space on the inside to enjoy your ice cream.

Never had before kinda ice cream 🍦 Fell in love instantly. Wish quantity was little more for the money we spent. If ever plan for a franchise in India, remember me. I am in.

!!BY FAR THE BEST ICE CREAM SHOP IN CAPE TOWN!!<br/><br/>Decor/Ambience - 10/10<br/>Food - 10/10<br/>Service - 10/10<br/><br/>"Amazing" is The only way to describe the experience!🙂🙂<br/><br/>1. The Decor is Amazing! With a very classy and old school look to the golden lids, the look of the place really adds to the experience!😍<br/><br/>2. The Menu is Amazing! They only have 5 options of each type of ice cream (Gelato, Sorbet, Ice Cream) but the options are very diverse and done well, there were no bad flavours!😋😋<br/><br/>3. The Prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the ice cream itself comes with a chocolate dipped Wafer which I wish they had a whole bag of for sale on it's own!😢😢<br/><br/>By far the creamiest Gelato/Sorbet/Ice Cream I've ever had and the flavours are strong but very well balanced!<br/><br/>PS. This is after trying 2 other highly rated ice cream places on the same night😂<br/>

Gelato heaven!! <br/>Situated in the heart of Cape Town. <br/>Beautiful interior design, helpful and friendly staff, creative gelato flavors to die for.<br/>Don’t think twice, just go! <br/>

Nestled in the heart of long street, this little ice cream parlor is a treat for anyone who would have a sweet tooth. Such a wide variety of rich flavors and good customers service, the waffle biscuits are the best part Haha!

We really loved the chocolate and the pistachio icecream! Very nice decorated and real Italian style gelato. Thank you! We will go back soon!

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. They allow you to taste 2 flavours before you decide. 50 for medium size you can choose up to 3 flavours. The gelato were very creamy and rich.definitely will come back next time when I’m in Cape Town.

There’s a reason why this place has a queue! Wow the gelato and sorbet are next level here. You’d think you’re in Florence! <br/><br/>Love that you can pick 2 flavours with the small cups. Love that it’s unusual flavours. Love that they stick a round wafer freshly drizzled in chocolate goodness in your ice cream. Just love! <br/><br/>I had the Halva gelato with the granadilla sorbet. My brother had the pistachio gelato with the grapefruit and mint sorbet. The halva has hints of Middle Eastern sesame dessert vibes to it. The sorbets were super refreshing. That grapefruit sorbet would make the perfect palate cleanser between a multi course meal. Super tart! But so refreshing!<br/><br/>I’m so ready for summer!
Farahseedat92
Absolutely amazing gelato. The Marchese flavor is out of the world! Definitely a MUST to try. The chocolate dipped wafer takes it to a whole new level 😍
Layla
Thee best gelato ever!👅already have a favourite flavour, after the first time but I can't help but try something different each time .<br/>It's definitely a cute spot to stop and have ice-cream, definitely a place to add to your bucketlist 😂!
Martin Slabber
Was here today for my first time...OMG...the best ever....choose any 3 flavours for 45bucks...damn it was good.....they even cater for vegans aswell...keep up the good work guys..<br/>
Theloveofgoodfood
Absolutely mouth-watering gelato. The flavours are unique, ever-changing and you’re just going to want them all! The décor and ambience is quaint and feels like little Italy with some soft pink sass. <br/>The pistachio gelato was amazing and my favourite part was receiving a homemade wafer covered in hot white chocolate with my order. <br/><br/>
Busisiwe Mavundla
Love the gelato here. The last time I was here there was an interesting beetroot and ginger flavour which swept me off my feet. I love how original some of the flavors are. My all time favourite is the rooibos. 👌🏾
Imran
Had the best Gelato and Sorbet, mango sorbet was definitely right on point! caramel Gelato was the f*** amazing, Incredible flavors with great service.
Jessy Da Silva
Wow absolutely love this place! Best ice cream in Cape Town, I had the Tiramisu and Belgian chocolate, my husband had the Belgian Chocolate and rooibos. All flavors were delicious. Can't wait to return 😍

This is a really cool place to satisfy your sweet tooth. The staff is really friendly and suggest you their best combinations. They even let you try different flavors before you make a purchase. Really a 5 star place.
Amiena Lewis
Came here for something small and sweet and we weren’t disappointed at all. Not even by the staff. Those guys are he friendliest a bunch. They also allow you to taste the gelato before making the final decision. I ended up having the hot chocolate with gelato instead of fresh cream and it was amazing to say the least!
Carmelita Dos Ramos
This is where the ice-cream is at! WOWZERS! I had a favourtie ice-cream place, but in terms of gelato, my mind was blown.<br/>The gelato is creamy and buttery, its such a sensation to your taste-buds. Flavours are authentic and rich but not overbearing. I had the Hazelnut and Pistachio flavours. I recommend both. The Hazelnut had "Nutella like chunks in it" which was unexpected but smooth when it melted in your mouth. They have vegan gelato aswell. I had a medium size cup, but a small would have been enough for me.<br/><br/>Staff is so friendly and helpful! The shop reminds me of a ice-cream parlour with beautiful gold finishes.
Popsi
Vegan gelato that is as creamy AF and comes out of a little store that feels like the inside of somebody’s Instagram account! We had chai, chocolate and Italian hazelnut flavours, which were all fantastic. I’ve been dreaming about it since 🦄
Eat Like A King
The variety of flavours is out of this world. It makes it so hard to choose, but really all of them are amazing. We loved it so much we had it twice on one day.
Robyn Samantha Walker
Such a cute place, hidden in Long Street (also makes it very easy to miss!) The gelato is SO GOOD. Toast and Jam is a must try - so strange but soooo accurately yummy!! <br/>Seating is limited so be prepared to either wait or take your gelato to go 💛
Farzana Dalvie
This place deserves a five as they serve the best gelato in Cape Town.<br/>I simply love the decor of the store and the service is friendly and competent.I enjoyed the marchese and pistachio flavor, which was amazing..definitely going back soon for my next fix!
Veronika Randić Popović
The best ice-cream in SA! I had pistachio and tiramisu ice-cream and hazelnut sorbet, they were to die for!! Definitely recommend it if you’re in Cape Town.
Michaela
Gelato and sorbet has never tasted this good! 😰😍🍦 The variety of flavours will leave you standing there for an hour deciding. Thank goodness they have such friendly and helpful staff to assist you with these decisions. 😂 Would highly recommend a trip here if you in the area. 😉 And yes, that is a chocolate fountain where your complementary wafer is dipped into. 👌🙋💯
Sussi Elhajj
The best gelato in Cape Town! Super friendly staff who let us try different flavours before deciding. Highly recommend a visit to Moro Gelato during your stay.
Shabaana Osman
The Gelato at this store is simply amazing.<br/>The staff are friendly and allows you to taste as many flavors that interest you. My partner and I ended up having Marchese and pistachio and tiramisu and the fresh milk and cream flavor.... Absolutely delicious. We both felt that it's by far the best Gelato we have had in a while. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the flavors.

This is literally the fanciest ice cream shop I’ve been to, what a lovely experience. Everything just looks expensive😂 but also very inviting. <br/><br/>There’s a variety of flavors to choose from, slightly overwhelming but the waiter is really helpful and will guide you through it. <br/><br/>They have vegan flavors too!!! But not too many savory flavors so if you have a sweet tooth, this is your heaven. And besides it looking expensive, it is actually quite reasonably priced. Definitely visiting again

I popped into this spot quite late after having dinner down the road. I was unaware it even existed until I had heard of it a few days prior to visiting. The interior of the shop is beautifully designed and decorated - very sophisticated and lavish. You definitely get the feeling that you’re in a little gelateria in Italy somewhere (if you ignore the chaos and noise of Long Street right outside). The 2 employees behind the counter were so friendly and helpful - they remained very patient with my indecisiveness over which 3 flavours to choose! I ended up going with the chocolate, pistachio and milk tart. They were all beautifully decadent and delicious! The only ‘complaint’ I have is that there just wasn’t enough of it - it was too tasty to be gone that quickly. The chocolate dipped wafer is also a lovely touch. Another downside is that you can’t get the ice cream in a proper-sized cone. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend a visit to Moro Gelato. But good luck, because choosing flavours won’t be easy!
Aiden Suskin
Such yummy ice cream!! Just happened to walk by in long street and I was not disappointed. I had rooiboss and milk tart flavors, seriously good!

If you have a sweet tooth and you're a big fan of gelato, then this place is definitely for you 🍧🍨 it's interiors are gilded with cream tones; it's literally what you would imagine a shop in an 1800 theme park would look like...<br/><br/>The moment you enter you're greeted with smells of sweetness to tantalize the senses and smiles and great humor from the staff 😁.... they will guide you through the array of flavors available and are VERY helpful in that regard; Pistacchio (Sicilian inspired🇮🇹) ; Marchese (vanilla from Tahiti) ; Nicciola (hazelnut) lemon sorbet 🍋 a deep chocolate 🍫 lampone with raspberries 🍒... the list is endless! 🤤🤤🤤<br/><br/>We arrived late one week night, just before closing to test out the gelato options as we had never been before. It was absolutely delicious - we enjoyed a combination of gelato 🤤<br/><br/>*TIP: it's located on 165 Long street, and can be easy to miss... so it's best you put it into your maps/location services for an easier find 📍<br/><br/>*TIP: they have a stand at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market at Granger Bay (every Saturday from 8:30am to 2pm)
Estëlle Maniëre
This is the most amazing gelato place in Cape Town. First: Real gelato ! I appreciate the seasonal changes in flavor, the amazing and smiling staffs, the extra small waffle with its decadent chocolate which is like the cherry on top of the cake.  Finally, the pricing is decent. Treat yourself with Nocciola. It's so sad this doesn't have (yet ?) a lovely place to seat with your cone or cup !
Emma Fraser
Thank goodness Moro Gelato isn’t close to my doorstep otherwise I would probably be there everyday! Endless flavours to choose from all of which push the boundaries! I had Pistachio and Moka Choco which is topped off with a wager biscuit dipped in a chocolate of your choice
Mish-al Ebrahim
The ice cream was DELICIOUS. Definitely one of the best in Cape Town. Decently priced as well (surprisingly). The Strawberry sorbet tasted almost like a Daiquiri! The staff create an awesome atmosphere that makes you wanna come back.
Pepler La Cock
Had some Gelato after Pizza and must say these people know how to makr proper Grlato! Really a fan of peanut butter and they nailed it! Well done will definitely be back

Delicious and priced well.<br/>Love the variety of flavours.<br/>They allow you to pick two flavours when purchasing one scoop which is great for indecisive people like me.<br/>Every purchase comes with a wafer dipped in chocolate which I absolutely love.<br/>Its the small things that put them above normal ice cream/gelato places.
Lauren Niekerk
Disclaimer: I have not been to the actual store in town. But have tried the ice-cream at a restaurant that sells it so my review is solely based on the ice-cream itself as I cannot comment on the ice-cream shops service.<br/><br/>I had Moro gelato for dessert. The Hoghouse in Pinelands sells Moro Gelato ice-cream. This is clearly stated on the blackboard along with the flavours of the day. We chose to share a scoop of the chocolate flavour which was all kinds of yum! The ice-cream is creamy, smooth, rich and well balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The decadence of the chocolate shone through. This place serves one of the best (I would even go as far as saying THE best) gelato in Cape Town. Need to mission to town and pay a visit to the actual store, only this time I definitely won't be sharing!

I hardly ever give a 5 star rating but you have to give it where it’s due. <br/>The place is pretty, the staff is engaging and friendly and their ice cream is really the best in town without a doubt. My partner and I went slightly overboard in buying 5 scoops, a milkshake , extra wafers and cone shots. <br/>Pistachio was my fav and the Jam on Toast. Their salted caramel was nice too and best part of their ice cream was that it wasn’t too sweet so you could eat and eat and eat more. <br/>Their wafers are something from another planet with the dripping chocolate over it, I had 3 while eating my ice cream and it only comes with 1. I do wish they had waffles though. <br/>Great part about this place is they also have loyalty cards, I can’t wait to go back.
Janet
You have to try it... They're sublime. Each ice cream tastes like it's namesake. The servers know their product well and can suggest interesting combinations.
Siddhi Agarwal
One of the best gelato i have ever had! Awesome flavours... specially the one i had... the tiramisu gelato ❤️😍 a must try if you are here! I am glad i went there!
Colleen Kalimba
Honestly just some amazing gelato. The Marchese flavour is one to try, for sure. I love the quaint and well-decorated store and the wafer dipped in chocolate sauce is the metaphorical cherry on top. Service was not the best, but not bad either.
Grant & Sam
Best gelato we've experienced in SA. The vegan chocolate was surprisingly delicious; the chocolate flavour shines without the dairy. The pistachio gelato tastes like pistachio instead of just green. We've tried many others too, and all have been excellent. <br/><br/>The staff are also very good. They're friendly, and encourage you to try the various options.
Burger King
This is some of the best ice cream you'll ever have in Cape Town and the flavours are creative and delicious. True Italian experience in the center of Cape Town

QUALITY GELATO<br/><br/>I love the boutique style of this little dessert parlor. It looks and feels very opulent and rich. <br/><br/>I always enjoy their gelato at food markets / festivals. But decided to pay them a visit for some Sunday sweet tooth cravings.<br/><br/>The end product doesn’t look as refined, with perfectly scooped balls as you would hope but it definitely makes up for it in the taste. I enjoyed the salted caramel and the pistachio gelato with a white-chocolate dipped wafer on a beautifully light and crispy sugar cone. Pure perfection.
Tia
Moro Gelato is a hidden gem! After passing the place twice we finally found this little spot of authentic Gelato goodness! The store has a really cute interior with a gold and white colour scheme. It's quite small with very minimal seating. <br/><br/>They have quite a variety of flavours with some interesting ones like Toast and Jam and one or two vegan options as well. After trying almost all the flavours, finally decided on the classic Belgian Chocolate and Coffee. It was really tasty and creamy. The best part is the little wafer dipped in white or dark chocolate that they put on top - the wafer is run under one of the two taps flowing with melted white and dark chocolate! The portion size is slightly smaller than a normal scoop size (for the same price) but given that the flavour is quite rich, it was just the right amount without feeling overly full.<br/><br/>The service here is great! Our server was really friendly and he gave us a few recommendations.<br/>Overall, Moro Gelato is definitely the spot to go for great, authentic Gelato. It's worth the visit!
Safiyah Hassan
I went last Saturday to Moro Gelato to check out what the big craze was about and when I got there I was surprised to see such a tiny shop but it's sooo cute and I love the interior and concept. The small tub/cone is R35 where you can choose 2 flavours Half and half. I chose some double chocolate cicholatte and and macadamia one which I cannot even pronounce yet alone spell so I'm not even gonna try but, that chocolate gelato😱 OMG best I've ever tasted! The ice cream was good the service was good the only issue I had was that the employees were handling money and then touching the Waffle that they tip in chocolate without washing hands I suggest using clippers for the waffles or gloves👌🏼<br/><br/>Overall I recommend trying the ice-cream it is worth it.
Tauhira
Had chocolate gelato very decadent will definitely satisfy your chocolate cravings. They have Vegan options too which is amazing. Worth looking for parking also staff very friendly great service 👌 wish they made waffles 🙏🏼

Yummy yummy in my tummy!!! I've been meaning to try this place for a while. It's in a weird location in Long Street. I would have imagined this gelato boutique to fit in better in de waterkant. Any hoo, went especially for the Italian hot chocolate which didn't disappoint. It satisfied everything inch of craving I had for chocolate. Unfortunately, it is only available till the end of September but will be back in Autumn.
Saadia Mall
so I'm crazy about almost any gelato BUT MORO GELATO surpasses all of my expectations! <br/><br/>We got there about 5 minutes before closing time but the gentleman working there were kind enough to allow us take our time, talk us through the flavours and deal w all the indecisivess. When the owners planned this store and the product, they sure as hell made sure it's full blown Italian. From the staff's uniform right to the door panels, it screams ITALIANO. My word, even the pozzettis compliment this theme ! I cannot get enough of this place ! <br/><br/>I sampled most of the flavours besides the sorbet ones and the jam on toast. The flavours are strong in the sense that they really come through and you get the full taste of the flavour that you choose ! And that's one of the reasons why I'm still going mad over this place. The texture of the product itself is soft and creamy and instantly melts in your mouth. In a scoop you're allowed to take two flavours. I can't remember the exact name of the flavours I took. The chocolate was one was abit too dark for me, but it was good ! The other I think was hazelnut and it was splendid ! <br/>You can choose between a cup and cone. It's then garnished with a wafer thats been run through either dark or white chocolate. Now who thinks of that ! Its another reason why I'd return there ! They sure know how bring everything together wel ! <br/><br/>I can't wait to return here ! You should try it too ! 😻<br/>
Leila Smeyatsky
The best ice cream in Cape Town! Moro offers a range of classic and "experimental" flavours. They use fresh and high quality ingredients and you can really taste it. I tried many of the flavours they had on offer and they were all incredible. I must recommend the chocolate and toast & jam. Just yum! Also, you are given a complimentary wafer drowned in melted chocolate - a delicious touch.
Kayli 'Elit
Hands down the best Gelato in the Southern Hemisphere!<br/>The atmosphere is reminiscent of Laudre macaroons in Paris.<br/>Unlike any other gelato you have tried in the overcrowded ice-cream market of Capetown.<br/>This is a gem and a treat in the centre of Capetown cbd. Try their seasonal sorbets (mango and apple are special) Belgian chocolate is a classic and the cafe is a fragrant coffee lovers deepest darkest fantasy. Your ice-cream includes a complimentary wafer covered in their fancy real melted chocolate with choice of dark or white.<br/>We had multiple cones in a row.<br/>I will visit every time I'm in Capetown! <br/>Great value for money, the Chocolate shot is a real treat.<br/>
Omar Tomasetta
Wow! I didn't expect to find real artisanal Italian gelato in South Africa! What a treat. The shop is tiny but full of character, and I'm very happy to see they use the traditional counter , where gelato is kept hidden in protected sink holes, instead of those big open windows where gelato becomes icy. Don't miss their pistacchio and Marchese flavours. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Price is fair for the quality they serve.
Lize Nel
Best gelato I have ever had (even better than I had on my trip to Italy). <br/>Plus the decor is on point! <br/>Great look, vibe and amazing gelato 🍦
Matshepo Motlanthe
Had to stop here to sort out my sweet tooth.<br/>Welcomed by a clean, white and golden gelato shop. The staff were very friendly and patient with our indecisiveness...worth the wait though.<br/>Eventually had a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of coconut stagiatelle on a small sugar cone, topped with a wafer dipped in white melting chocolate. <br/>Left with a loyalty card...will definitely be coming back. They close at 10pm, so that night craving can be sorted out.
Sara
The ice cream here is delicious and seems authentically Italian. The server we had was also so friendly! The wafer covered with their dark chocolate from their fountain was great and I'd probably order just those if I could. The pricing is a little steep for the amount of ice cream you get which is in a pretty small cup. It's also not suitable for sitting down there as the place is tiny.
Gabriel Stein
The ice cream is super good, and the staff here is super friendly and always keen for a Convo. <br/><br/>I just feel like the portion sizes are too small, I LOVE the fact that they server Gelato with a spatula, true to how it is supposed to be, but the portions are also supposed to be huge! <br/><br/>Its good, but is it worth trying to find parking in long Street? Up to you.
Danieljake
Came here one First Thursday with a friend, pleasantly surprised by how cute and quaint the place was. <br/><br/>We tried the caramel flavour at the time, which was rich and creamy with a lovely consistency. <br/><br/>I had always seen their stall at the OZCF market and was delighted to see that they had opened up a permanent parlour.
Byron Botha
By far the best gelato that I've ever had, we tried it last week then went back 3 more times it was that good! Every flavour is incredible and the service is worth the trip alone, I cannot recommend it enough!
Jesse Vermeulen
Kid in a candy store! This shop is so cute, the flavour selection is amazing and don't get me started on the mini chocolate shots! <br/><br/>The people were so friendly, decor is beautiful and cozy and they have something to suit every budget.<br/><br/>I loved that they add interesting gelato toppings, and that they're includes in the price. Italian hot chocolate with cinnamon and whipped cream was to die for as well. <br/><br/>They have loyalty cards too, which is another major bonus, since I'm probably going to be there every other day from now on.
Talia Lee Cohen
Italian owner = Italian gelato 😍<br/>Artisan gelato made fresh every week or so!<br/>The lemon sorbet is as good as the one I had in Rome! I'll give top points to the tiramisu flavour, it's basically a real tiramisu in a little cup!!!<br/>Excited to try some of their new vegan friendly options, dark chocolate sorbet Mmmmm can't wait for next week! <br/><br/>PS the pistachio is excellent too! And from imported nuts, blended with a very specific machine!
Nicol Miller
I've always walked past this cute Gelato Stand at the Granger Bay Market, but never tried it..until today! Besides their shop in Long Street, they have a Gelato trolley, that is really difficult to miss. Pastel colours, with Gold Covers, it's really so beautifully displayed. I opted for the Pomegranate sorbet in a sugar cone, which was honestly, some of the most refreshing scoops I've tried, and really not pricey at all. If you're ever at the market, pop over to the stand and give them a try, so many great options and the friendliest service Gabi Goldberg
Sam
Moro Gelato is absolute perfection. The store is stunningly decorated. The service is warm, friendly and engaging.<br/><br/>We tried most of the flavours out and settled on coconut stracciatella, pistachio, chocolate, fior de latte and tiramisu. Everything was superbly delicious, light but packed with flavour. The best part was that it's not heavy like ice cream and doesn't taste artificial.<br/><br/>I also liked that it's sold by the cup not by scoop so you get to try a few flavours in a cup. Love love love Moro Gelato!<br/>
Gilmore Mataanisa
Been looking for a proper Gelato, so I found myself in a beautiful lovely shop of yours in long street. I was recommended a pairing of Pistacchioooo 😀😀 with Ricotta and figs by one of your lovely stuff . You guys happened to be a Heavenly sent . Thank you guys.
Tracey-Lee Austin
Best ice cream in Cape Town! Delicious and creamy with a selection of the usual suspects like Belgian chocolate, vanilla and milk and cream; and unique flavors like Pinocchio (pine nut) and tiramisu. Delightfully friendly owners willing to give a taste before you order. What a gem of a find!
Gerry Chats
Talk about a taste of awesomeness. Popped in here just to see what it is they have on offer. My word was it worth it! Got a taste of a couple of the Gelato on offer. Personal best was the Cioccolato. I must say though.. for a dessert place, deco is out of this world. Tucked away on Long street. It's worth the visit. Cold weather, wet or Sunny day! It's worth it!!! 😍😍😍
Pusm
Absolutely my favorite shop for Italian ice-cream. In my opinion they are the only one in Cape Town true to the artisanal italian tradition . They use real and seasonal ingredients , no colorants or funny stuff. A must try are their chocolate , pistacchio and marchese. Very friendly and helpful staff. They even have vegan gelato (sorbetti) just as creamy as the milky ones. Well done!!
Mikaela
A super cute spot on long with the most incredibly good ice cream😍 Moro gelato has an interior that's almost as sweet as their gelato. It took me awhile to choose (all their flavours are seriously good!) but I eventually settled on the chocolate and milk tart. If you're looking for a great pairing, definitely give this one a try. The gelato is light and full of flavour without being too sweet. One scoop is just not enough!<br/><br/>We went on a very quiet day so managed to get one of the window seats - but at a busier time you'll definitely have to take your gelato away. Definitely pop in soon!
Tiyaarah Cloete
Cute little gelato place. I'd been to their place in Woodstock and saw that they opened on long. It's really quite small so I guess people take their gelato to go. They're well priced and have really good flavors, I tried the pistachio and tiramisu and waseem has the milktart which were all really good albeit a bit sweet. I need to try their shakes and hot chocolate though!
Zahra Dawood
Excellent Ice Cream. That's all that needs to be said.<br/>The Belgium chocolate is rich and creamy, made of 70% chocolate. The milk tart went well with the Belgium chocolate as it wasn't very rich. The decor is beautiful and the staff are super friendly.
Ivanna Abigail Kemp
So happy to be giving this gem a solid 10/10! Their ice cream is the best I've ever had, and not to mention the fact that your taste buds can go on an adventure without having to break the bank. <br/><br/>Do yourself a favor and opt for the salted caramel popcorn flavor. <br/><br/>PS I nearly finished my ice cream before taking the pic.
