One of the prettiest toilets in SA. Well done to the cleaners who decorate the ladies with beautiful flowers every day. Take away section is very efficient. Food is good. Staff very friendly. Picnic area is clean, child and dog friendly. Lovely big trees for shade. We'll done everyone.

Awesome stop! Full service gas station. It was a wonderful restaurant, gift shop, little “farm”, and playground. The sandwiches and roosterkoeke! Highly recommend the steak and eggs with pepper sauce and ham and cheese sandwich.

This is a must stop when traveling on the N2 past Buffelsjags. Food is always amazing with my steak, cheese and mushroom roosterkoek made exactly how I liked it. On the way back on our road trip we will stop there again.

My favourite food stop on the road. Roosterkoek heaven. Portions are huge and loads of fillings to choose from. Padkos!

Fast and friendly service even when busy. Amazing roosterkoek, large and filling. Definitely our go to place to stop from now on.

What a great surprise! We stopped for a coffee and then we saw the menu. I must admit that the roosterkoeke was even better as the famous Nanaga-roosterkoeke! The filling was absolutely delicious and this is true value for money. We could not finish these gigantic roosterkoeke and we could share it with children begging for something to eat. Do yourself a favor and stop at this restaurant on your way to Cape Town, they will definitely have your favourite filling!

Pros:
Loads of options
Good prices
The roosterkoeke are huge and delicious. They are good the day after buying as well. We took them on hikes the next day
Suggestion:
Can do with a couple more veggie options, like curry lentil, roasted veggies and/or spinach and feta

Can get busy. But if you have never had roosterkoekbrood then you are missing out. And they have a GREAT selection of these fire roasted breads.
