Fell in love with this padstal minutes into arriving . Truly one unforgettable experience.
The padstal with all the stickers from all over the bar on the side with a whole bunch of caps everywhere !
Food is great, the pool outside is just what you need in this heat truly what a great place!!
Everyone is super friendly and helpful, the cars and ufo things all around and sculptures is just so unique and amazing to experience.
Definitely want to come back soon hopefully too !
Always stop here on our way through the Tankwa. Oom Hein & tannie Susan are great people and will sort you out with the best roosterkoek. Plenty of other things to buy as well.

If you gonna take on the Tankwa you gonna need to toughen up... Tankwa Padstal is a lifeline on the R355 and has a deeply Karoo, Life Loving, Laidback Lifestyle vibe that should be appreciated. I can understand why some people just never leave Tankwa. Think if this spot was not there with it's Wi-Fi, Cold Beer and Good Food and general necessities. I'm guessing the previous older, lower than 3 star reviews and ratings were from years before or from posh white satin panty wearing poppies in high heels. No one could be more friendly or helpful and accommodating to us strangers than the tough locals who always go the extra mile to keep you happy, safe and on the go. Not to mention the amazing landscapes, art, sights and sounds in the middle of nowhere. A Must See and Do...but bring an open mind and you big girl / boy broekkies and be prepared to change a tire if you must, or the presence of a fly on you might just spoil your day and trip.

Amazing place to stop and have lunch and or drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place has lots of cool antiques and the decor is beyond funny. Good place to resupply if you in area for long time. Fun place. Will be back🤣🤣🤣
After a long drive stop here for a drink, a burger or just braai your own meat. Perfect place to stop on your road trip
An oasis in the middle of the Tables. Great stop for all especially with kids (small swimming pool on offer). For the adults there is a bar with cold beer. The shop has e everything including the preverbial kitchen sink. Love the place.
Excellent burger and chips. Owner so friendly and helpful. Super atmosphere. Awesome product selection. Bar awesome too.
Worth a visit, even just for a walkabout, explore and a few pictures. I would recommend having a beer in the bar but make sure you bring cash as they do not accept cards.
Would so love to have a reuniun party at this place.
