Always stop here on our way through the Tankwa. Oom Hein & tannie Susan are great people and will sort you out with the best roosterkoek. Plenty of other things to buy as well.
If you gonna take on the Tankwa you gonna need to toughen up... Tankwa Padstal is a lifeline on the R355 and has a deeply Karoo, Life Loving, Laidback Lifestyle vibe that should be appreciated. I can understand why some people just never leave Tankwa. Think if this spot was not there with it's Wi-Fi
Amazing place to stop and have lunch and or drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place has lots of cool antiques and the decor is beyond funny. Good place to resupply if you in area for long time. Fun place. Will be back🤣🤣🤣
After a long drive stop here for a drink, a burger or just braai your own meat. Perfect place to stop on your road trip
An oasis in the middle of the Tables. Great stop for all especially with kids (small swimming pool on offer). For the adults there is a bar with cold beer. The shop has e everything including the preverbial kitchen sink. Love the place.
Excellent burger and chips. Owner so friendly and helpful. Super atmosphere. Awesome product selection. Bar awesome too.
Worth a visit, even just for a walkabout, explore and a few pictures. I would recommend having a beer in the bar but make sure you bring cash as they do not accept cards.
Would so love to have a reuniun party at this place.
