Good wholesome Flavourful food! Extremely accommodating wait staff and a vibey setting accompanied by chilled music. Great time out! Recommended!

This is an interesting little spot hidden away in Benoni. They’ve tried to get an authentic Moroccan vibe going with elaborate decor inside an old house. Our waitress was lovely and the service was quite quick.

The Halloumi starter we ordered had interesting flavours but unfortunately it was rubbery. It came with a nice little side salad and dressing though.

For mains I ordered the Lamb Shank as it seemed like quite a popular dish. The meat was super tender and just fell off the bone. However the flavour was a bit lacking and I thought it let down the fact that it was cooked so perfectly. The veggies on the side however were delicious and the potatoes were really yummy. My boyfriend had the the Beef and Tomato Tajine which was quite tasty.

Definitely a different experience as we don’t have many Moroccan restaurants around Joburg. It was worth the trip to try something different and I would love to go back sometime to try their tasty sounding starter platters and their other tajines.

Great experience. Waitress was well informed and very very nice!!! Food freaking amazing and different. Atmosphere in and out of restaurant was warm and cozy and very inviting. DEFINITELY recommend and will come again!!
