Review Breakers Restaurant - Uvongo

Went for the first time this past Sunday to try them out. We went for their Sunday 3 Course Meal for R189, let me say the selections on that menus was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious and so beautiful presented. Our waiter Linton was fantastic 👏 so well clued up on the items, wait time was quick which is wonderful 😀 he didn't hover over us and was so professional and sweet with the service he gave. 10/10 would recommend 👌 really a little hidden gem, it's almost like you are transported when you enter the doors. All staff though are lovely and friendly 😊

We made a reservation and when we arrived it was a little disorganized as they were not sure which table to seat us at. The food took a while to arrive, both the starters and mains. My food was Luke warm when it arrived with the chips being cold. The food is tasty and well prepared. Cocktails were great.

Definitely one of the better sit down finer dining restaurants in the area and ideal for family dinners suggest booking for tables larger than 4 as seats are limited around the busier times. We orderd two wednesday starter specials which were good size portions. Beer on tap is limited to CBC but good other beverages are wine and standard sab bottled options. Re service I noticed waiters are not given tables and tend to end up running after each other instead of focusing on their tables so three staff will be busy with one table while other tables could be waiting for service. Overall very nice restaurant we will be back again.

Had a Sunday lunch at the Breakers restaurant. We had great three course meal for a very reasonable price. I had the chicken liver starters which was excellent. For the main course I had a delicious chicken stack - a very tasty and creative dish. I finished off with an excellent chocolate mousse. The cocktails were good as was the wine. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. I highly recommend a visit or more.

We went to Breakers for lunch, the service from the waiter was good. He was quite friendly and attended to our table quite well. We mostly had the burgers which were flavourful and the calamari and prawns which were okay. The oysters were also okay. I would say that it is a bit more on the pricey side of things and not sure if the price lives up to the food entirely. Overall a relatively good experience. Update: we went there for a second time and had an even better experience. We were assisted by a waiter by the name of Kyle who went out of his way to provide us with 5 star service. The oysters are amazing and a must try! So is the tempura prawn stater. We'll definitely be going back

Staff wait on your every whim and are all very friendly. The atmosphere was quite nice, perfect for a dinner party with friends and family. The shooters were absolutely delicious. The food was also amazing but the prawns did leave us feeling a bit underwhelmed. Great selection of wines. Overall a very nice dining experience.

Had lunch at Breakers Restaurant in Margate today. What a nice place!!!!!! Love the set up in the Restaurant !! Very clean. We had Chicken Stack, Very nice presented. 👏🏻That was their special today. Service was great from both of the waitresses in the Restaurant. Recommend this Restaurant anytime. !!! Thank you

What a wonderful dining experience at Breakers Restaurant. From the time we stepped into the restaurant to the time we left, we were treated like Royalty. The waiters were so so so friendly, they were all amazing hosts. They helped each other, seeing to all the guests. Everyone was given that first class treatment. I was, I am and I will always be amazed with the super friendly service received. The manager was as sweet too. The food was good, their specials are awesome and the ambience is fantastic.
