Decent coffee (very dark roast), lovely toasties. Was very busy at peak holiday season, but waiters all calm and collected and did their best under the circumstances. Food top notch despite the crunch so well done to them
Beautiful quaint restaurant. Very neat. Delicious meals. Waffles, wraps and eggs Benedict were our choices 👌
A lovely tranquil place to dine with a beautiful garden. My friend and I especially loved enjoying the herb garden whilst our hubbies enjoyed their beers. I had the chicken salad which was delightful, whilst everyone else had the steak, which was cooked to perfection for all of them. The salad was so fresh and the chips were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, perhaps just a little more training is needed on how to place a plate down and not bang it down. Overall a fantastic experience. Will definitely be back and will most definately recommend it. Well worth the visit.
I looooved this place! Food was tasty, staff were so friendly and the cafe is beautiful!
What a lovely coffee shop! We stopped here on a mini tour of the Underberg area and didn’t regret our choice at all.
Grounds are amazing - cultured gardens with farm animals roaming around. There are goats and rabbits in pens at the rear of the garden too. There’s a small play area for the kids.
The food was sublime. My steak salad ranks top-3 in my meals during our 2 week holiday. Great flavours.
Staff were friendly / attentive.
Couldn’t ask for more when it comes to a great resting place whilst touring the beautiful Drakensburg mountains.
Pay them a visit - you won’t regret it.
Lovely little place tucked away in the mountains, on a farm with a few animals around. Great burger, great cappuccino. Just chill and enjoy the outdoors and awesome scenery.
This was a lovely stop for breakfast. Food was outstanding. Very family orientated, a bit disappointed with it's animal farm which seems a bit run down and lacking animals. But the two baby goats scampering around amused most adult and kid alike.
Beautiful spot in the middle of a nature reserve, nestled on a farm with a story and an atmosphere of beauty and sense of honour. It’s a fun place for the kids and great for those looking for a relaxed experience out in nature or in a modern set dining area- definitely worth the visit
Although we only stopped in for a toastie, on the way to our resort (and as we have done many times before), the service & food were great.
Lovely to see that money is being invested to keep upgrading the restaurant.
I feel the prices are really spot on and plenty to choose from
There is also good choice of frozen meals.
I definitely recommend this restaurant
The Olde Duck is an absolutely beautiful Cafe which is so kiddie-friendly and well thought out for kiddies. Our 4 year old daughter loved it there!
They have a small animal farms that is cornered off, inside and outside seating, beautiful gardens, a lovely mini bike track for the children and 3 cute Wendy houses for the children to play in.
We were however, a bit disappointed in the service and friendliness of the staff. We waited more than 20 mins after sitting ourselves outside (and me going inside and asking for assistance) and then the waiting time to pay after eating was ridiculous aswell. There was almost no presence of any staff while being seated so I would recommend ordering EVERYTHING you may want all at once so you don't have to wait for assistance.
