Very convenient location yet is still out of the busy part of the gateway mall. The place is now halal. The menu is very exciting. I am not a fan of chocolate, but there is still lots to enjoy on the menu, which now includes pizzas and sandwiches. Some innovative waffles and crepes as well. The food is reasonable. The pizza is well prices and decent. The plating of the food seems camera ready, which you can't see because I posted the takeaway items.
Everytime I visit gateway I have to stop at the chocolate bar! Their sandwiches are amazing as well as the dessert options! Service is always good! 😊
The Chocolate Bar is conveniently situated at one of the quieter entrances of Gateway, Entrance 4 if I remember correctly, same level as MRP Home & Volpes. The service is good, the set up is chic and comfortable. The menu is set for spoils with healthy options as well. This place is as the name suggests: CHOCOLATE EVERYRHING! From pancakes to croissants, waffles and cakes, have to mention delicious selection of chocolate drinks! I tried their Belgian Hot Chocolate, it was a winner, solid Belgian chocolate covered the bottom of the Irish Coffee cup. Good spot for a casual catch-up session or Treat day! Added bonus is the helpful staff :)

The brownies are next level with taste and coupled with the great quality of service from the staff, Cacao Chocolate Bar is a place to visit.
Undoubtedly one of the best toasted sandwiches in South Africa! My favourite is the toasted cheese, musrooms and pepper.
If you have a sweet tongue this place is a must visit.

This place is paradise for those who love chocolate! Also, if you ever need to feed your emotions or if you have just watched Avenger: Endgame and need a pick-me-up then this place is worth a visit!

If you love chocolate, then YOU NEED TO go here! Every creation is wonderfully made, and the chocolate is more than amazing. I would recommend the Belgian chocolate waffles and also the Fondue,but make sure the fondue has a well lit candle underneath,else it gets a little hard to dip the fruit in,but still delicious!
Always a delightful treat, some may find it extremely sweet but the Belgian chocolate sauce is always amazing
