Service at the bar only, but the service was friendly. Double brandy was R25 and the platter to share for R200 could have easily fed three or more. Was a great little find.
Foodie post: Looking for a nice pub in Tulbagh to go watch the rugby and eat a warming meal,Bush Pub is your place. Really impressive burgers must say. Only had 5 items on the menu:1)The freakish big burger 2)Ribs 3)Crumbed mushroom 4) Chicken schnitzel 5) chicken strips. Average service though but its pub heyyy.. Will defs be back.
Robin and Adrian run one of the best pubs I have ever been to. Friendly service, great prices and lovely atmosphere. These guys make you feel right at home and part of the community. Call ahead and have Adrian put together one of his braai-extravaganzas for you. We have had some amazing parties here and will keep coming!
Lovely rustic atmosphere, lots of parking. Indoor tables and fabulous outdoor seating area under shady trees. Limited menu, but extremely tasty meals. Great, friendly service from the manager, great music. The only drawback was a lot of flies. It would help a lot if they put up some fly traps on the perimeter of the seating area.
Just called for a drink 🍸 on a trip out. Quite unique in some ways. The proprietor was serving on and he was the genital host. He told us he had just taken over the place a couple of months ago so it would be nice if he got well supported. I think he will do well because he has the right attitude. Best of luck 👍
A local friend took me here for a live blues performance and it was great. Loved the small town vibe and exceptional musicians. The crowd was very friendly and made me feel very welcome as an outsider. Drinks were flowing and considering how I felt today, I clearly had a very good time. I will definitely be back when I return to Tulbagh.
Adrian and Robin are the best team out there. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, friendly locals. Can't visit Tulbagh without stopping in.
Loved the laid back rustic vibe it offers. Apparently a highly reputable chef works his/her magic. Do yourself a favour and try the cheesy chips, if that's your thang.
Robin, the owner is super cool and makes you feel right at home. Definitely worth a visit if in town!

The best milkshake..so much different than your average milkshake. The kids loved it. And even the parents 😘👌
The staff are friendly and go out of there way to help you. Lots of locals there.
