Beautiful place with food, accommodation and art. The food was well made and the presentation great. There's a really attractive gift store and as a venue you probably couldn't do better. Recommended

Stopped in to Makers Mark on our way out of town and were so happy were did. Unfortunately we never got to try any food, but the staff/owner was very friendly and accommodating; even offering us suggestions of where to find wine on a Sunday as they unfortunately do not have a liquor license as of yet. Would definitely go back to get the full experience (especially the amazing art).

Makers Mark is a very special place. I stayed overnight in The Old Parsonage c 1795 which has been so well renovated. The room was so very spacious and beautifully appointed. It's one of the best sleeps I have had in a long time. The room was dark, the bed was so comfortable and the linen top quality. Also ate at the restaurant and the food was exceptional. It's on a gorgeous main road that takes you back in time and there are lots of interesting things to do in the area. A highly recommended experience. Tulbagh is quite a find and I would return.

My daughter and I had the loveliest afternoon at this beautiful place in Tulbagh. We have eaten at most acres in Tulbagh and this has most definitely become my top favourite. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was good and the space has a wonderful feel. It was perfect. Do yourself a favour and have a meal here - you will not be sorry.

Gorgeous setting, coffees excellent, tasty spring rolls. Very attentive owner, went above and beyond to please. Everything is made from scratch so prepare to wait. Personally I thought the hummus was rather bland, no garlic, needed a bit more seasoning. But my friends were content, very fresh food.

This is an absolute must if you find yourself in Tulbagh. The art gallery is world class. Seating is outside in the garden ideal for a leisurely breakfast or lunch......or both. Locally sourced produce including cheeses and cold meats mean everything is always fresh. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere.

What a gem! We decided to take a "country trip" today and was pleasantly surprised by this new art gallery, deli, coffee bar and shop. The food - tapas style - was exquisite and reasonably priced and Paul even threw in a refreshment for our dry throats on the house. Thank you Paul and partners for making this stop the highlight of our week. Your Barrista ( I did not get his name and the shame is on me) brewed us a perfect cappuccino and coffee. Don't miss out!

My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves here. We had a cheese board which was very good. The goats cheese was made from milk that they milked from their own goats on the farm. We will definitely visit again
