Only stopped for coffee. Not amazing but definitely better then other options.

Frikkie and Madelein and their team are absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing, they have a comprehensive menu, food is delicious and absolute value for money! The fuel station just next to it is such a bonus, the fuel is cheaper than other fill stations. Definitely worth it to take a break and visit Affi Plaas Coffee Shop and Grill. Do yourself that favor! 😉
There's a small play area for the children with some grass. The chicken mayo pizza was some of the best we've had. All things considered, a great farm stop and by far better than any other options you'll find nearby. Great family restaurant!
Lovely coffee shop with the best “boere koffie” and delicious sandwiches.
A coffee/restaurant is situated just off the N1and very conveniently next to the only petrol station in Trompsburg.
They serve from a coffee, milkshakes and tea to a mighty meal. They do even sell some beers.
It was clean and spacious.
Here you can buy small souveniers, coffeebeans, jams and various things. Take a tour through the small shop while waiting for your order.
The service was friendly and speedy.
If you want a well deserved rest, do visit this shop.
What a nice place on to and back from Cape Town. I was so skeptical when my wife said we need to stop here, but what a quaint place with good friendly service, food and deserts(I recommend the Waffles and Affi Plaas coffee). Animal friendly and a clean restroom.You can call them and order food in advance. You can also order a cake a day in advance and collect it the following day.
Great little coffee shop just off the N1. Try their Waffle or the Pizza. They also make a generous buger and chips if you are feeling peckish. The inside also has a small decor shop if you have time to browse.
We ended up in Trompsburg due to a requirement for petrol and were fortuitous to stumble upon this delightful coffee shop. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay for food, but it looked delicious and there were many happy and content lunch guests. The coffee was superb and thank you to the friendly lady (whom I think is the owner) for making us feel so welcome.
Nice place. Passable coffee with a little play area for kids. Nappy changing station in women's bathroom.
