Service could be improved. Have been a few times and the waitrons are a bit stiff and slow. But their sushi is seriously amazing and I love their 50% off for sit-down. Their deep fried ice cream is huge and delicious!
Delicious 62 piece platter take away for mums 81st birthday. Dumplings tasty but not a good idea for take away as need to be eaten straight away.
Fantastic sushi and good prices. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome buffet on Thursday and Saturdays. Love this place. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi in the area
The staff is super friendly. I have visited here a couple of times and always got great service and really good sushi. Comfortable, cozy and affordable.
Who doesn't love sushi, I mean the combinations seafood with rice is really a brilliant idea and this place is king. Their sushi is up there with the best and the best part is that it's half price, however is it worth it to wait 50 minutes for? I'm not impressed with their front of house as we went on a Friday night and got a trainee as a waiter. The place was busy and she couldn't answer a few simple questions. I have also noticed that this place lost a few customers as the tables were left dirty when people left, not cleaned straight away for new customers. Typical Chinese music surrounded the rather small area but was OK to listen to. Our bill was R510 but including drinks my fiance and me had about 60 pieces together (yes we love sushi). Great food, poor service but I will return for their buffet.
Always have an amazing time there. Great wine selection and not badly priced wine or food. The sushi is absolutely delicious and what's better is that it's right down the road! Taffie and Chichi's service is incredible!
Very very tasty sushi!!! So good that we got takeaways 😉 . I'd also recommend the crispy duck! Very very tasty!
The dim sum was also very decent, although there isn't much variety.
We have also come for the buffet (on thursdays and saturdays). It's apparently Chinese food and sushi but sadly there isn't much actual hot food available. Would like to see more, although it is very good value for money!
Tai Chi is my local spot for sushi, dimsum and chinese food. Their Miso Soup is propbaly the best in the Southern Suburps and their service always shines with friendlyness and efficiency.

I started with Special Sashimi (both Tuna and Salmon, sealed in a flash and served with a ginger dressing of note. 😋
The tempura salmon with teriyaki was exquisite and went well with the succulent prawn tails wrapped in salmon and topped with Japanese mayo with prawn caviar.
All-in-all a meal for a king. 👍🏾
Tai Chi has a 50% off special (in store only) everyday, as well as 35% off takeaways. The sushi after the special is therefore very well priced and you can have around 16 pieces of decent sushi for under R100. The sushi itself is very good and this is overall a great value for money restaurant. The service is always great and we come here often.
