A lovely venue - a converted old house with beautiful interior. We sat in the garden under a large tree which was perfect given the outside temperature. Food was good and the serving staff were attentive and made a real effort for us. A definite for a return trip!

Lovely shady trees, good service, rural setting and a menu to please casual dining. I asked for vegan and got a pasta and veg dish that was delicious. Good service, highly recommended.

The Grove is an oasis of cool, shabby chic, good food and hospitality. We’ve been stopping here for breakfast and lunch for years, and look forward to every visit. Long live the French toast.

A Little Shady Oasis. We were desperate for a garden and shaded spot on our roadtrip. We struck it very lucky. Lovely vibe, delicious wholesome food. Served hot and tasty. Clean and tasteful decor. Well done.

Quite an unlikely place. Loved the spaciousness and cool shades in the afternoon. The burger tasted nice. The cappuccino is a 8/10, it hits the spot but doesn't quite nail it -the espresso is a bit weak I think.

A must stop if you are Traveling through Swartruggens! Delicious food and friendly service! Free Wi-Fi and wonderful music with a play area for kids! I enjoy sitting outside next to the koi-pond eating the best pizza on the N4! The carrot cake is also a must! 5 starts! Definitely recommend!

A very nice, quaint little place filled with historic things to look at and the best, proper, wood burning, oven Pizza we've had in a very long time. With nothing else to do in this town, coming here for lunch is a must. Service was excellent with very friendly staff, food and drinks were great and the vibe was amazing with some old school 80's music playing in the background. This is truly a hidden gem of a place.

Very friendly service. Had my post wedding breakfast with friends and family at the resturant. Plans were made easily, service was great and the food even better. Thanks, highly recommended.

What a gastronomical-mouthwatering-tantalizing-taste-bud affair! Pizzas are amazing and the eisbein is the best I've ever had. The ambiance ranges from sophisticated to a cool vibe sitting under the Jacarandas overlooking the koi pond. Owner Alicia and staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a fabulous experience...I will most definitely be back x
