Review Mcdonald's Woodmead - Sunninghill

The team here is fantastic! They're always happy at the drive-through. They will always make sure they get your order right by checking it with you at the window before you pay. The food is always nice and hot. If you need to make adjustments they never make you feel you're being difficult. A+team here!

Healthy take away option is possible, if you order a side order of corn and a club sandwich on wholewheat bread. Delicious, fast plus friendly staff, too. Premises are clean and neat, and the layout of the drive through is compact and well designed. I will go back there...

The interior is superb. Staff is professional and kind. CCtv should be upgraded for better visual quality and safety. Overall, it is a really nice and clean restaurant. Highly recommended

The fries were soggy but the other food was good

Nice location, I liked their service. Staff friendly and helpful always. I can recommend it for any occasion, Lunch and breakfast 🥣.

Good clean place with ample power and usb ports for charging, social media-ing and having a bite to eat. Free networking included. But wait! There is more! Free parking included. But only if you do not do a drive through.

The food and service is great, the seating area is great for hanging out with friends or for getting some work done. It gets quite busy on the weekend, so getting to the entrance is a nightmare, so make sure you go during quieter times if you get frustrated by traffic.

Staff are always friendly and the drive thru is quick. This makes for real FAST food. The burgers tasted fine but lacked sauce. Our all all-time favourite: Strawberry Milkshake - it never disappoints.

Been going here from 2001 and must say still a great atmosphere and top service not all the time but most of the time😉

Ordered ice creams and sat in. 3 kids and 2 adults. The service was great even though it was busy. The manageress was friendly and spoke to our little baby and even brought him a small treat. I did not get her name but thank you.

Why, why, why can't McDonald's employ more people like Inja from Woodmead, She is the happiest, most vibrant, well-mannered, child-caring, loving person we have ever met, please can you get Inja to run a course or send out a information leaflet to all branches on how to care for a customer and their children, Inja was awesome and I don't actually mind wasting a little bit more fuel to go to Woodmead McDonald's's for this awesome service, she was so good with my 2-year-old, that my daughter was actually smiling every time Inja walked by, Which means a lot to me, that my child feels safe where she is and also feels loved by the people around her, this is what McDonald's is about, to make children happy, More children happy more money for McDonalds, Thank you for employing Inja

Nice setting and atmosphere. They make burgers like they are rushing for number2, you could find your burger placed upside down in the box.

I highly recommend this fast food outlet. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and fast, and the decor was homey. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This restaurant chain has got progressively worse since it opened. The service at Woodmead is shocking, despite the efforts of front of house staff. <br/><br/>I visited the restaurant at about 14:00 in the afternoon and the restaurant was bedlam. The take out queue was +20 cars long and the queues inside were long too. <br/><br/>There was no sign of management and the kitchen staff were laughing and chasing each other around the kitchen. There seemed to be mo controls or supervision in place.<br/><br/>The till operators were nowhere to be seen. When I finally got a chance to pay the operator, Bopape S., was non-responsive and surly. The kitchen also took very long to serve the food. <br/><br/>The KFC about 300m down the road may be more welcoming? I will be going there in future instead.

I am not please with the delivery services of Mcdonald's Woodmead. I have encountered countless of incidents where i have ordered and my order is delayed and comes half an hour late to the delivery time provided. And there is no form of communication with me, letting me know the order is running late.

The food come sooo incomplete, I ordered a Jalapeño burger and it came with no Jalapeño ! Bad service!. There was no answer when I tried calling back!

Air conditioning not on! Tried calling manager to no avail. It is very uncomfortable to sit and work here at the restaurant. very unpleasant

Ordered a meal and only got coke and burger. They dont even answer they phone.  I tried calling them over and over. This is not the first time.

If I could give you a -0 rating I.would your milkshake sucks and I still can't believe it That you guys still use old lettuce it's like something you guys keep up wow sis man you spoil the damn meal and money! That's why I drive all the way to McDz in Grayston even though I stay like a Km away from McDz Woodmead it's just that traffic was tight going to Grayston so I literally forced myself to buy at your damn vrot McDz... never again I promise you guys suck.

As far as mcdonalds franchises go -this one is treated more as a fast food checkout of sorts or to stop over for a few minutes in between all the woodmead retail park shopping which is right in the area.Decent effort although I find their food rushed and not prepared as well as other spots.

I drove into this joint around 7.15 this morning on my way to work. I hadn't had a meal since sunday afternoon so I was starving. I got the big mac, when I got to work and took a bite it was the dryest burger I had ever had. There wasn't even some tomato sauce in it, just 2 pattis lettuce n tomato. I was tempted to drive back but I had a 8am meeting so I didnt. That experience totally ruined my entire day

Great stop to wait for the busy busy busy Joburg traffic, or so I thought?<br/><br/>The Maccie D's is the same as any other however there are a few differences, it's 24 hours which is a plus, has a McCafe, it also has a makro collection point that's another plus and it looks beautiful from the exterior to the finishes inside.<br/><br/>The new order number ticket generator screen is also cool however the staff are still stuck calling people numerously to collect their orders sometimes only calling once and removing the order from the system which is what happened to mine, sat for 30 minutes (Thank You TelkomConnect) waiting for a Quarter Pounder 😐 only to find that Nelly had called the number and was 'tired of calling orders' so she removed the order.<br/><br/>Oh well, fast food right, anyway I had my food and left.<br/><br/>Critique: Please make a plan with the ticket system such as using speakers throughout the dining area similar to what is used in the banks.

Unfortunately looking for something to eat after a party leaves you with very little choice. This Mc Donalds is 24 hours so it is our usual after hours stop, we have also ordered from here for delivery a few times. Orders are wrong or incomplete 70% of the time and while you do get some staff who are friendly and helpful the general demeanor of the staff here is far from friendly and they would rather find an excuse than try to assist, for that reason alone this branch gets a one from me.

Definitely one of the worst branches in JHB. <br/><br/>I decided to stop for some breakfast on the way to work the other day and although it wasn't terribly full , there were a few people ordering. after the lady in the front took her time laughing and going on she finally helped and i wasn't really upset because she was in a good mood and service with a smile is great. but i think that's the only reason they scored anything at all. <br/><br/>I placed an order for a breakfast wrap and orange juice. <br/><br/>10minutes later my number still isn't up on the screen and . I start becoming a bit impatient, but i see a breakfast wrap come out of the kitchen so im sure its mine. NOPE. another 10mins goes by and im now the only one standing there but still they do not bother to even ask. So i go to the front and i complain and what do i get? attitude and disrespect like its my fault they are incapable of keeping up. <br/><br/>in terms of food, it was rushed and was quite oily which i didn't enjoy. however at least the orange juice was nice.<br/><br/>PS - They are one of the first i've seen that have the WeChat payment option which is quite cool aswell

Nothing beats a cooling cone and mcfuzz on the way home on a super hot summer day.<br/>The service aren't anything to write about, and we waited a while being in a drive-thru. The location is very neat, except for all the crates outside- not very appealing. But our needs were satisfied. Happy go lucky we went.<br/>

People behind the counter aren't friendly, but are they ever? At least this one has a Mccafé. Their Mocha Frappé is decent. And the happy meal was a happy meal.<br/>The play area is a disgrace. Stuff is broken. It's dirty. Shameful!

I've got friends who swear they never visit McDonald's...I will admit that I do for two reasons...the breakfast and their Oreo mcflurry! I had their sausage mcmuffin with a hash brown & coffee...was good!

There is no better fast food on the market , Steers is up there but are very pricey!!<br/><br/>With McDonalds you get what you are promised !! <br/><br/>Good fast food for those cheat days !!

I never eat McDonalds but after hearing all the adverts about their morning cappuccino and breakfast, I was in the area and thought I would grab a cappuccino for the drive into work. After ordering 2 X standard cappuccinos and paying R30, I received a large insibid instant/filter coffee with a drop of milk... Terrible! Will never make the mistake of visiting McDonalds again

As a take away restaurant (drive through mainly), I appreciate the fact that food needs to get made as fast as possible. I would however be glad to wait a few minutes for fresh ingredients. Never going back.

This is the closet location to home so I'm always there for a quick dinner. It's the usual McDonald's. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient.

This is the closest McDonald's to my work place. I believe the drive-thru is one of the more efficient ones I've been to. The food is always made very quickly and I never have to wait to receive my order. I have encountered a few rude assistants here, though nothing I would get overly worried about.
