Lily Asian Kitchen

I stayed at Sun City for about a week and I came to Lilly's quite a few times because it was so good! The first day we arrived we were dead tired and were staying at the SoHo (the same hotel that Lily's is in as well as the casino). We came down for dinner and I enjoyed it. The first time around we started with an Espresso Martini and a Dr. Pepper which was basically a vodka cranberry cocktail with amaretto which surprisingly tasted like an alcoholic version of Dr. Pepper, hence the name 🤣 We then had wontons, spring rolls, and bok choy and they were delicious - the bok choy was perfectly cooked and not too soggy (every time I came back I ordered that bok choy because it wasn't overdone and tasted great!). We also had Singapore style noodles and it tasted really good, just the right amount of curry added to the dish and not too overpowering. Upon coming back we had tried a few sushi rolls and it was good as well but just a little too much rice - the sashimi was really fresh though. Also the drinks that we settled on were good but we couldn't veer off the drink menu because anything we ordered that wasn't on it didn't taste very good - this was actually a trend on the whole resort. All in all, I really enjoyed this restaurant, it had nice esthetics, the people were really nice, and the food tasted really good!

This is an Asian experience on whole new level, the decor is absolutely stunning, the colour, the Asian theme & lighting is breathtaking, the seating is for fine dining, you get separate cubical with soft seats and curtain you can close or you can have separate dining rooms, exquisitly decorated and obsessively cleaned. They have surprisingly good collection of wine and the food is authentic Asian cuisine. The outside is just as beautiful, you get the views of the surrounding mountains and sweet birds songs. Nothing gets better than this.

Now called Lily Asian Kitchen. Indoor (normal tables and private booths) limited outdoor seating Mai Thai cocktail - highly recommended. Phad Thai was the best I ever had. Lamb curry was absolutely Thai - as ginger as it could be. Fried banana and cream was delish.

This place consistently delivers good food and a good atmosphere. We have frequented the restaurant on several occasions with different groups - always finding the need to eat until we cannot move. 🤣😊the private rooms offer a good space for family with little kids or for a special occasion to make an event more intimate. Visited the restaurant again last night & requested our favourite waiter Mike. The service was exceptional. Mike had our usual order of hot Saki & beer ready for us & knew our favourite dishes on the menu.

I had the cold cucumber salad for a starter and the sweet and sour prawns for main. The food was fantastic! To drink I had the strawberry daiquiri and it beats the one they serve at the palace pool. Good value for money, good selection of food, great service and friendly waiters. Can’t ask for more.
