Visited over the busy Heritage day long weekend. I made a booking via Dineplan a week before my visit but when I called the day of visit they advised they aren’t taking dineplan reservations as it was offline but nevertheless Richard, the host, had space for us. The Shebeen is a SA Breweries initiative aimed at providing a township experience so don’t expect imported beers or beers on tap.
Owing to the rugby World Cup there was a limited menu. We had the Chisa Nyama which was incredibly well made, the kids burger was actually an adult portion - also very tasty. As it was heritage day, there was some live music as well but I must be honest in that the music only catered to a certain demographic, if you are going for a township experience, the music played should have been a representation of all South African music, not just a certain type. Overall a good experience and recommended when visiting Sun City.
What a great experience, the food was amazing, great music along with everything that the outdoors have to offer.

Please do yourself a favour and book early if you’re going to watch the rugby here as it gets packed. The food was amazing, in all my 15 years of coming to suncity I did not know the shebeen served food and let me tell you their food is to die for. They have amazing drink specials as well.
Service was extremely slow, we waited a very very long time for food and even drinks as it was so busy and not enough staff.

What a fantastic experience. The food was so well priced and the portions sizeable. The shebeen theme was so well reproduced and the service was excellent. A wheelbarrow and an evening meal is a must and the jukebox is awesome. Quarts, nips and shebeen decor add to an authentic experience.
We had an awesome time and we're blown away by the fantastic food and super friendly service (James was fantastic).
We loved playing pool and really enjoyed the true African vibes coming from the super cool digital jukebox.

Only place in sun city that is open past 21:00 in the week (accept for the strip club aparently).
The chuck is devine. Super soft and they some kind off basting that is out of this world. I miss the potato salad and coleslaw, which was the best ever, but no longer on the menu.
Great atmosphere and waiters are always very attentive.
The have a big screen now for sport, with great sound. Overall lovely experience and great service.
Lovely experience. Food is of high quality and service is very fast. The drink selection is a little limited which is not what I expected, being in suncity after all. But the general vibe of the shebeen is very laid back, relaxed. It is a must visit when at suncity. Get away from the cocktails at the pools and just unwind to a beer 🍻 😁

Lively atmosphere Springboks was playing against the All Blacks, we lost of cause. Drinks were following, children was running around just a beautiful thing to see so many races in one place. Rugby unite all of us.
