We really enjoyed our experience at Guardian Peak. Our waiter, Lyon, was friendly and very knowledgeable about their wine. The beef fillet was tender & melted in your mouth, whereas the venison shank (eland on the night) fell off the bone and was a huge portion. Would highly recommend Guardian Peak.
Amazing food excellent service and a beautiful view. Lunto our waiter one of the best waiters i have had. Fillet stake cook to perfection, eishbein was good. Wine very nice
What a beautiful venue and wonderful place to visit as a treat. Menu is pricey but the quality of the food makes it so worth it. We had starters,mains and desserts and they were delicious...
The service is great and our waiter was polite and helpful throughout the 21st lunch. The food was really tasty and it will be a spot I will visit again for another special occasion.
Very nice pork fillet and eisbein. The cheesecake is definitely a winner. Overall Guardian peak is a very very nice restaurant and photos don't do it justice.
Had an amazing lunch today at Guardian Peak. The most beautiful views even on a cloudy and cold winters days. Also had an amazing waiter with such a warm smile, happy and helpful attitude. The food was also delicious. We all had different main courses and all absolutely loved them. We shared two starters which were the calamari as well as the duck samosas. To end I had fondant which was absolutely amazing and my brother had frozen semi fredo which he loved. Such a lovely day!
This restaurant makes you feel like you are a million miles away.. with the most breathtaking views ever! Totally worth a visit for the views alone, but the food was good as well Probably had one of the best waiters ever, he was so attentive. I had the line fish, which was kingklip, which was slightly over cooked so not the best I have had, but it was tasty. Had salmon to start which was amazing. Food portions are big, and they have amazing wine. I tasted a bit of everyone's food and it was good, well presented and all in all everyone was happy. The views though... WOW!
Had a fantastic lunch with the family. Great service, steaks were perfectly prepared and so were the other meals. The chocolate fondant could be a bit runnier on the inside, but otherwise very good. Great place, lovely scenery.
Totally surrounded by mountains. A view which invokes old memories and you know you are going to enjoy this. We arrived without a booking and management made a plan and before long we had a great table outside. The service was great and the waiters had indepth knowledge of the entire menu, even down to the subtle nuances of the wines on offer. Home made breads were served with a salted butter as a nibble starter with calamata olives. The chicken breast and the pork fillet were done to fine dining perfection. Don't miss the red wine sauce. Just wish we had more time to sample the rest of the menu. Prices were fare and we will certainly be back

Relaxing ambience, beautiful views and mouth-watering food. The menu boasts a lovely variety of dishes that would leave anyone indecisive and the wine paired with the food just makes the meal so much more memorable. Be sure to book as it is popular amongst tourists!
