My friend and I went out for the 1st time since lockdown. We were served by Stephen- excellent service. The food was out of this world.
Most of the food was good, eg battered hake, sirloin, mud cake and ice cream dessert, and espresso. The prawn and chorizo starter is not good.
The service was very slow, though. The restaurant was empty but we could never get hold of a waiter to order or clear the table.
Love them soo much, food is well priced and delicious!
Most definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff at Stellenbosch Kitchen are very accommodating and well mannered. The food is exceptional - never tried something on the menu that I did not love. Very good quality food ! Good atmosphere !
We had a lovely dinner at Stellenbosch Kitchen! Freshest seafood I had in a long time and with the wine that George recomended it was all perfect! We also had the Springbok which was very tasty and very big. We sit outside on the patio with nice gas heater and little blankets George gave us keeping us warm so we can enjoy this nice street view vibe in Stellenbosch while we eat. Inside is also a fireplace and the building is very interesting inside with art and history. We will definitely be back!

Large menu・Stylish interior・Best brunch
. Wow, there is not much that I can't recommend here! I have eaten the prawn risotto and the monster burger at Stellenbosch Kitchen over the weekend.
The service was top class. I absolutely loved the old-style decor and casual ambiance. The waiter was very clued up on the menu, wine, craft beers and more.
My burger cost R135, and it is truly a monster!!! We had wine which was very well priced while a craft beer goes for R45. Excellent value for money, especially for such a, sought after destination such as Stellenbosh!
And I have to mention that I also went into the kitchen to meet the chef. Chef Ellie's kitchen is spotless, and she proudly showed me around!
Of course, as I love the greenery of Stellenbosch, we had to sit outside. This was so nice as you get to drink in the vibe of Stellies! Just a relaxed lunch with friends clinking wine glasses savoring every moment that our taste-buds are awakened anew!

Probably one of the best restaurant meals I've had in a long time! The food was delicious, and the service was great. Definitely worth coming to over and over again!
We came here for breakfast over the weekend because i had heard it was a great place to try in Stellenbosch.
They have a buffet breakfast option for either the full hot and cold buffet or just the full English breakfast or just cold buffet options. There are other options available to order off the menu as well
I loved that with the buffet, you can either have the scrambled and boiled eggs laid out, or you have the option to order them to your liking.
Everything on the buffet was great, from the croissants to the sausages (although we prefer our bacon a little crispier). But everything was laid out nicely and the staff were so decent and welcoming. I have not tried their main menu but it looks amazing! We would definitely go back
Had lunch here today. I found my portion quite small, although was pretty full afterwards. Tasty flavors, just a bit small. We were there for lunch, so the Resturant was dead quiet. I wouldn't rush back
Great friendly service, warm atmosphere and the food was excellent. It was too beautiful to eat. Loved that you can see the chef working in the kitchen area, meticulously preparing each plate. Would recommend to all
