This beautiful restaurant was like stumbling across a hidden treasure. Delicious food and fantastic service by Pam. Will definitely come back again and again. Best seafood I have eaten for years 🐟
This is such a wonderful little restaurant that I never knew existed. The views are really amazing and the restaurant itself is also really nice. Service at the bar was very patchy but the food service was great and so was the food. Portions were also very big.
We had one of the platters, and it was delicious!! The prawns were properly cooked as well as the calamari - not chewy... We really loved the food and the service is good, our waiter was very friendly. And the view is something to take in and appreciate.
Ortalama bir mekan. Sahil kenarinda. Cape town dan yaklasik 45 dk mesafede. Deniz mahsulleri agirlikli menusu var. Baliklar ve diger mahsuller taze oldugundan cok lezzetli. Ortalama kisi basi 40-50 usd arasi. Guzel havada tercih edilebilir. Ruzgarli havalarda biraz zor.
Very, very good seafood. Had a simple hake and chips and you can taste that it is fresh. Just different to the run-of-the-mill outlets. The venue lies specularly on the waters edge and on a clear, sunny day this should be your lunch stop of choice.
The building does however need a serious revamp!
Never been here and was glad to have tried out something different for seafood other than the usual waterfront restaurants! We had starters which were the sardines, mussels and garlic snails-all were delicious! I then had the sirloin steak, medium rare, it was slightly over but still tasty! And the butternut and creamed spinach were good too! Others had the stuffed chicken and angel fish, which both looked yummy! There was a half an hour delay between starters and mains which was a bit slow! Lastly we had ice cream and berries and then the trio of desserts which was super decadent!
The setting was beautiful, right by the beach and there was a cosy fire and atmosphere!
The view is spectacular, would be good to go have a cocktail and just drink in the scenery. Most tables are reserved for tours, so service can get a little slow with all the people there. Food was good but nothing mind blowing, which was sad considering the price.
Hidden gem is what comes to my mind when I recall my experience of Black Marlin!
This place was surprisingly good. We were returning to Cape Town on our way back from Cape of Good Hope on 5th Dec when we decided to stop over for some quick snacks. Turned out that we actually spent a couple of hours and had an entire meal over here.
The place offers splendid view of the sea. Loved their decor. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for the delay. We tried their veg spring rolls and fish platter, both were very nice.
I definitely recommend visiting this place! :)
Stopped here for lunch during our scenic drive. Beautiful view! Waiter was very attentive & took our drink order after we settled in. We enjoyed the cajun calamari with chips & salad, as well as the mussels (very generous main portions). Only downside is that it was very quiet with no music at all, lacking that ambience.
After viewing the penguins 🐧 we had worked up quite an appetite for some good seafood! And that is exactly what we got! With the most amazing fresh chips! The food was so good that a baboon tried to come and steal it! Their desserts are also very tasty. If you're looking for great lunch with a fantastic view, I would recommend making a stop here 😊Only downside to this wonderful restaurant is the service is very slow and their card machines struggle to get signal 🙈
