We found this place by coincidence on our way back from Cape Point during our holiday in Cape Town. The athmosphere of the restaurant is really pleasant, and the meals were absolutely delicious. I had the squid, a dish I usually eat everywhere where seafood is available and I can tell this was one of the tastiest, soft I have ever had. My boyfriend had the fish and chips, loved it all. The service was excellent as well, the staff is really friendly. I hope to be back one day.
Such a beautiful place, lovely waiters and the best burger I have ever had. Would highly recommend it to everyone
I am always impressed by the excellent service at the cafe, the interior feels as though you are stepping into a quiet corner of the world - perfect for hot chocolate and cake on a rainy day! Or a quick breakfast on the weekends. The waiters always serve you to the best of their ability - allowing for a great dining experience. Items on the menu are also fairly priced. Note however that the cafe is not open for dinner.
Great service! We went there for supper and had seafood. Everything was fresh and delicious! Even went back the next day for coffee and cake and had the same experience! Well done to the owner and staff.
The best restuarant in the South Peninsula, food that is considered and made with love. A cosy menu with an elegant twist. An intimate atmosphere accompanied by passionate staff, a testament to the owner himself. Thank-you for yet another extraordinary meal.

Friendly staff, fresh ciabatta, excellent coffee & cream cappucino. Breakfasts a bit pricier than expected. Central with historical atmosphere.
Such a cute, quaint little coffee shop situated in the Main Road. I love the decor and the casual, cosy relaxed vibe. I just popped by with friends for hot chocolate and cake - both of which were delicious! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
This small family run restaurant in the heart of SimonsTown is a reminder of great food from a bye gone era... consistently wonderful and amazing staff, owners and environment ... whatever is the special of the day... try it you won’t be disappointed
After taking some visitors I had in town to Boulders Beach, we stopped by this little cute cafe for some lunch. It was super busy, but we managed to get one of the two last remaining tables without a reservation.
I ordered the beer battered hake and my two friends (one being vegetarian) ordered the veg lasagne and the other the calamari with roast veg as a side. The portions are enormous! I barely could finish my hake and my friend did not finish her lasagne (that little dish is deceivingly deep). The hake, although battered really well and fried to perfection was missing some much needed salt (I doubt the chef seasoned the batter). The others around the table were however enjoying their dishes.
Will likely return, should I be in that vicinity again.
Quaint restaurant, lovely decor, had vegetarian lasagne - absolutely delicious, friendly waiter!! First time visit, will definitely be back!
A lovely eatery and coffee shop in main road Simon's Town. There's no view other than of the road but it makes up for that in other ways. Staff are super friendly and attentive, ambiance is clean, bright and fresh while still warm and inviting. Excellent quality food although a tad on the expensive side. Great cappuccino!
I've loved this place for years. It's so quaint. The small town always excites me. The restaurant itself is small, but accommodating and the cakes are delicious
