Absolutely fantastic food except for the sweet and sour chicken my son ordered... far too much sauce and far too sweet. Rest was incredible... from prawns to steak to Espetada and chicken schnitzels

Food is absolutely amazing. We ordered the 500g Espetada and the Pork Belly. Both dishes were amazing (I must add that the rump of the Espetada was especially juicy and tender). Montecello will definitely see me again.

Excellent espetada with very tender and well prepared fillet. The small rump steak was also well prepared and presented. Dubious after reading some reviews but worth another visit when we are back in the area. Excellent reception when the Restaurant was full with a large party. Made a plan and accommodated us

The food is incredible! Their espatada is exquisite, the sweet and sour kingklip is on another planet and their chicken schnitzel is the best I've ever tasted. The ambience is romantic and intimate with candlelight on each table and the service is the best We've have on the Garden Route so far!

Honestly the best Espetada in the world! I have travelled all the way back from New Zealand to have dinner here. Staff are friendly and management is amazing!

I've been disappointed with every Espetada that I've had at other restaurants since I've gone to Montecellos in 2010.

They have a simple yet tasty menu with a bar and an eatery section. Yes, the place is a bit dark and worn slightly, but the food makes up for it.Their desserts are very well proportioned.

The restaurant is a bit dark inside but we had a lovely time. The service was good and the food excellent. I had the prawns and there was lots of it and deliciously prepared and fresh. My husband had the espetada and wants to go back for it!

This restaurant is a real little gem. The service was wonderful, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the espetada, it was succulent and cooked to perfection.

This unassuming restaurant blew me away. Friendly staff made us feel as comfortable as possible while we were waiting for a table. We ordered the signature Espetada and it was beyond incredible. Medium rare, juicy and tender. We'll definitely be back when we find ourselves in the neighborhood again.

I've actually been wanting to write about this place for quite a while! I had heard so much about it and we finally got to see what all the fuss is about for ourselves about two or three months ago!

All I'm going to say is that's the best espetada I've ever had in a restaurant! Don't order anything else!!!
