I was looking for a nice place for lunch and wanted something tasty. I found this place, which is the name of the restaurant written in Chinese (from a Google Map). At the end, we found out that the name of the restaurant is Chuanxianglou.
Anyway, we ate there, and the food was very tasty and spicy. We ordered Braised (spicy) Beef noodle soup and Salted Cold chicken—they were good! (✷‿✷)👍, and the portion of food is pretty generous.
Just as an input, I wish their receipt and the name of the restaurant in Google Maps would be better if written in English, just to avoid confusion.
I had read some reviews before coming - nobody prepared me for how delicious and fresh everything tasted! I had several vegetarian choosings and shared with two friends. An absolute delight. Generous, family-style, humble cuisine. Will be back soon.
Even though the vegetarian options are limited, but the chef can make a plan for dietary needs.
Expect all dishes to be spicy (even when you request no spice at all for the kids).
Within 2 mins of the last dish arriving, they will bring a plate of fruits to signal the end of your meal, hurry up to pay and leave!!
