Excellent chicken The ratio between size of chicken and value in rands was disappointing .give us two sizes of chicken and chips as is and let's enjoya man's meal.Anyway not complaining.here a new advert coming up One chicken for daddy bear and one chicken for the pippy lang kous

Quick service inside, love the decor, and the queues are usually minimal so you can zip in and out quickly. Drive thru is a bit less amazing, but their late hours make it bearable

The service was efficient, and waitron was friendly. The chicken was absolutely delicious, very succulent, and portions were generous.

Great Nandos to get good food. Their chicken is always on point. The entrance can be a little difficult to find, so drive slowly so you don't miss it

Okay the drive through is quick enough for a Nandos... The food is amazing. I love the spicy rice hot pot and it's always done just right. No inconsistencies. So overall, great service and great food.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Sadina at Rivonia. I had ordered Fiesta fries and I had an issue with the food quality upon delivery. I called Nando's and Sadina called me back promptly. She was lovely and polite, offering to replace the item. She went above beyond by preparing the item for me herself. It was delicious! She sets an example of what excellent customer service is! I will be back.

The majority of my life, I have always been a KFC girl. But I have to let the world know that I am now converted. I gave Nandos a try as I received a voucher from Vodacom. Let me tell u. It’s the best chicken - I have ever tasted in my life! ThankU Vodacom and ThankU Nandos 🤗

I think they should do better in terms of their taking away pack. I mean how can I use a paper box to pack food that has sauce on it?

The friendliest staff there and the food is always fresh.

The staff members are busy gossiping instead of serving the guests. I was at the shop for almost an hour waiting for my food.

I have never gotten bad food, a mistake on my order, or bad service from this establishment.

Well it was a Friday night and all was quite....in their restaurant that is. I ordered a take away and service was good and food was great as usual. The atmosphere in the restaurant was something else. It was empty and clinical. It was my first time there and I certainly won't be sitting down for a meal anytime soon. Take away area was great. Have to do something to attract more customers to the restaurant area

In the area and went for drive through, a bit of wait but worth it, great wedges and chicken and mielie.

Nandos chicken is very good, a 3 out of 5. I normally call in to collect my order, the service is not the greatest and of late the kitchen is slower than what I prefer. Managers on duty are also not well trained.

This branch is terrible. 4 out of 5 times, they get your order wrong. ZERO attention to detail. Tonight we paid for 2 cheese AND pine burgers. When we got home, we found that NEITHER burger had cheese OR pine! A total rip off. Time to report them to the Franchisor.

I'm so impressed with Nando's service for take out. Called them, they recognised me from my number. Had my address. Got the sms immediately after placing my order with my order number and my food came 25 minutes later. Delicious as always. Thank you guys!

The person taking down the order over the phone does not understand English , took 15 minutes to place an order. Couldn’t understand the address given either. There must be an easier way <br/>Let’s hope we do receive the order

Very friendly service. Ordered take aways during lunch hour, the wait was bearable. Their chicken is fresh and tender. Plenty of seating for dine-in patrons.

Unfortunately not impressed with this branch. We were pressured to make orders, with no one else waiting to be helped. On a positive note, the food was good and the wait was reasonable. It was the service that really tainted the experience. The lady taking orders was unfriendly and our waitress sat chatting. Took long for our meals to be put into takeaways and the leftover bread was just put straight into the packet as is.

After attending an event in the morning, we stopped in here for a late lunch. The service was pretty quick which was fortunate as we were starving. <br/><br/>As normal, the food was tasty however they got our level of hotness completely incorrect. We both received a mild version of the requested dishes however we asked for medium and lemon and herb. This was a bit unfortunate but again, it was still tasty.

A long wait for food. The chickens are anorexic. Sadly I love nandos but the rising prices don't justify it for me anymore <br/>Their flavours are one of a kind but I find myself eating less and less here

I often get takeout from this Nando's. They're usually quite good at getting the details right if you call ahead with your order. The seating area inside is clean and there is alternative outdoor seating too. <br/><br/>My favourite is the spicy hot chicken livers, as well as their chicken strips and rice.

Service at the front counter was a bit on the slow side, but the lady who helped me was quite friendly. The vegetarian burger I had was lacking quite some, with the patty being over cooked, so it was rock hard all around the edges, the sauce barely there and the bun just holding together.

Best nandos in jhb! We don't go anywhere else! The staff are great and the manager always checks on us. The food is always done the way that we like it.

This used to be the better Nando's branch of the 3 in Sandton - Benmore being inconsistent and tardy. However, standards at Rivonia have dropped greatly. Our last three orders were bad - stale rolls and chips, spinach not up to standard and salad drying out. Today's lunch delivery order was shocking. The salad was literally rotting - cucumber liquefying and lettuce brown. The rolls were stale to the point of falling apart. They delivered a new salad that was also not fresh and added a coleslaw for our trouble (we don't eat coleslaw). I am very glad that we are veg and don't eat the chicken, can just imagine the standards.

Have been to lot of there franchised places in this country . But the one in morning side for me the best . Service is good very helpful staff . Normally take take aways never dissaponited . Will visit again for me it's the fastest way to get some food after a @very hectic days ...

I think this is one of the best nandos in Jhb...they get hot right. Today I took a break from my usual 1/4 chicken and opted for the chicken livers meal with a garlic roll...I really enjoy the burning hot flavour.

I've got to admit that this Nandos has really stepped up its game after many failed previous experiences, I do believe that it is under new management which just goes to show that it makes a big difference. I have been there on 2 occasions within the past week and ordered the chicken. The chickens on both instances seem to be different as they are a lot more tender, succulent, and just plain delicious. Thanks again Nandos for a reliable place I can turn to without driving far.

I go to this Nando's often. It is usually quite busy but our food arrived shortly after ordering. We ordered a full chicken to share with a side of peri chips and peri spinach and peri livers. The chicken was mostly really good with most pieces succulent but the breasts were a bit dry. The peri spinach was disappointing with the sauce being rather watery. Over all it was a good meal!

We ordered a team lunch last Saturday and the food was of a very very poor quality. Firstly we ordered a take away and the order was not written down properly. So when the food was delivered we were short of a meal. Can you imagine the team awkwardness? The food that we had was cold and soggy. The chips were simply raw. I usually go to this outlet often but this will be the last. Best try another place!

I first heard about this specific Nando's branch due to their free sherry for clients ordering.. which is a wonderful addition while you wait for your order. <br/><br/>Nando’s is famous to me for two things in South Africa:<br/>1. Its butterfly cut, peri-peri chicken - marinated for 24-hours, flame-grilled and basted in your choice of sauce. <br/>2. Its witty advertising that is usually tailor-made to what is currently happening in South Africa and on trend (its like they read my mind regarding both political and socio-economic factors).<br/><br/>I love their lemon & herb chicken options, but on this visit I opted for a Sticky Prego Pulled Chicken pita on this particular visit and enjoyed it very much! <br/><br/>The staff have never gotten my order incorrect and I find Nandos very convenient during those power outages in the middle of the week so for me Nandos Rivonia gets a thumbs up!

I remember my shock once years ago when I bought food from here and on arrival we were offered shots of sherry. What a good welcome in the winter months. The chicken has been good and the service standard. Think tomorrow I need to pay another visit here for my usual wrap chips and dip

It's no wonder this branch of Nandos has such a low rating ! I went there and order strips and rice ... I watched them make it and then shortly after watched them place it in the microwave ! My food then sat waiting on the counter until I called someone and said that's my food and it's been sitting there , can you please pass it here . They looked at me and placed my food in a bag ... When I looked in the bag , the box happened to be wide open !! You won't see me again Nandos Rivonia !

Always great quality you would expect of Nandos. Also offers the cosy seating areas of you want to enjoy your food right there. Always get the Peri-Peri wedges with some Peri-naise! #justenjoy #getinvolved

You can never lose with some flame grilled chicken from Nandos! Although it is fast food, I feel it is one of the more healthy options and a 1/4 mild is always delicious! The burgers and Pitas are never a let down either!

We just love getting our Nando's at this specific branch. They always serve a sherry for clients ordering - which is great while you wait for your order. The staff are well trained and always get our order correct. We have also eaten in once or twice which has been most pleasant, some to try.

Worst Nandos ever. Working close to this Nandos we went there often, and every single time something was missing or not done correctly. It became routine for us to pedantically check every item and ensure it was made to satisfaction before leaving. I don't believe it's the customers duty to do this. However, their sit-down food was substantially better than the take-away. Why is there even a difference

This is a typical, busy, busy, fast food, Nando's branch. Located in a, crappy to find parking, shopping centre. It's also super busy & filled to the hilt. There are tables outside & inside the shop & they always full when I go there. <br/>My order was taken quickly & efficiently & my food delivered even quicker. They serious about the fast food concept. <br/>I took my meal as a take away as there was no where to sit. I just had a quarter chicken with no side dishes. Lemon & herb. The food was juicy, soft, filled with flavour & really really delicious. <br/>I've only got compliments for my experience going there and for the food.<br/>It was a great fast food, take away experience. No complaints at all. I'll go back for sure.

This Nando's branch is average. I haven't had a meal that was great here. It's best to sit down as I have had take away orders delivered that were incorrect from here. <br/><br/>We went here on a Friday for lunch - it was super busy. Our food took forever to arrive and it wasn't all at once. Some of the food lay for awhile before the waiters served it. I would give this branch a skip. I eat at this Nando's at least once a week; it is definitely one of the better ones. The service is efficient and the food is quick and tasty. In winter they give you free sherry shots and hand out roses to the ladies, a very nice touch. <br/><br/> I love the mild quarter chicken (breast option) and a mild mielie. Their mielies are so damn delicious but for some reason they aren’t on the menu, so keep them in mind. Their spicy wedges are also a great side, but their chips are pathetic, they lack flavour and you get about 5 in a portion. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a healthier side then the roast veggies are your best option, they are cooked perfectly, I ask them to add tangy tomato sauce!<br/><br/>If you love chicken, then you love Nando's :)

Nando's are great. I have been back to Nandos after being vegetarian for 20 yrs !.They serve good fresh cooked food, at a price but with a level of table service that makes it feel better than the average fast food outlet. <br/>clean and good quality food and eating area. Its awesome that you choose the level of heat. My fave is the strips and rice. <br/>The Vitality meal is an awesome healthy option: The Chicken breast, flame-grilled mielie & regular Portuguese salad.<br/>The bonus of waiting at Nando's is the warm sherry while waiting. :))<br/>If Nandos was a little cheaper, Im sure Id be eating there very often. BTW my fave Nandos is in Douglasdale

The Rivonia Nandos is one of the better Nandos around. Service is efficient, food is tasty and I have not once suffered because of it. They can however improve if their chickens were marinated overnight in the marinade to provide better flavour (as in the past). My favourites are a quarter chicken with a roll, perinaise and Nandos sauce or the spicy rice and strips. I find the burgers can get too soggy and have too much lettuce. They should rather have tomato slices without the juicy bits. All in all, you just need the smell of Nandos to get your mouth watering.

This Nandos is close to my office and we often place very large orders when we get takeout here. I find that they are efficient and quick preparing an order of 15 or more meals. The standard of food is typical Nandos and is very high. They also have a sit down area which is not to bad. There is always plenty of parking which I like. I would recommend this Nandos to anybody looking for a quick lunch or need to order for big parties or anybody that just loves Nandos.
