The service was good. The food was lovely and presently very nicely, more importantly it tasted very nice. I definitely would recommend the prawns it's delicious. The sauce is very hot so just a heads up for someone that doesn't eat very spicy food to stay away from the sauce.

This is conveniently located in the Cedar Square centre and specialises in traditional Portuguese food. We found the prawns smaller than the standard Mozambique size and rissoles not quite up to par with granny's homemade.

I tried the prawn curry which was wonderful, and peri-butter prawns, which were tasty but unfortunately arrived cold. To be fair, I was at a table of around thirty people and we all received our food around the same time, which was nice.
The place had a pleasant atmosphere and some unimposing live music.
The R&Rs and cocktails were lovely also.
I had a good time here and our large party was handled well with no errors that I know of.

Lovely lovely venue. Ample safe parking. Friendly and professional staff. Good service. The owner/manager was always on the floor. Live music on most days. We just loved it. Food was very good. Portions were very generous. I recommend this little spot for a lunch with friends or even for a romantic date. A very definate yes.

Awesome restuarant. The food was very good. They have a wide variety of specials ranging from Monday till Sunday. They have a very vast range of cocktails. The service was impeccable. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the awesome meal. Will be back soon.

Excellent seafood accompanied by a finger licking Peri sauce and crunchy veggies. The fresh parsley based condiment is simply amazing. I enjoyed the Fourways/Joburg skyline views while feasting on my meal!

My wife and I had the Thursday chicken special which was outstanding and very reasonable.Good service.My wife needed to take a small piece of chicken in a doggy bag.We were given a container with tin foil inside to keep the piece of chicken and a few veggies wrapped ,plus a packet.Impressive We will be back.

If you are looking for an authentic Mozambican experience this is the place: it looks generally run down and a lot of the crockery is chipped. My husband had the peri peri baby chicken which although he enjoyed he has had better. Kiddies portion of hake was over fried and had bones. Prawn rissoles had a funny taste as if there was ginger in it - Spar rissoles are amazing in comparison. Cappuccino lacked froth and was sent back - replacement one was nice. Waiter was pleasant and the manager was understanding with the complaint about the hake - credited us and gave a ten percent discount. There are much better options in Joburg.

We were a table of 8, who came here for a dinner. The food was very tasty. The trinchado is probably the best we have ever tasted. The manager was fantastic and totally understands customer service. The younger waiters were young and happy and made me smile.

I thought it would be a more upmarket restaurant because of the location. Very little money spent on decor, but nice to have live music (although all in Portuguese). Enjoyed the seafood platter for 2 but, the Bol De Bolacha was going off.

After a long day at work we decided to try Laurentina and it was lovely. We had a friendly waiter Gift who even suggested if I cant decide on my sides to go half and half. Food and service was really good. Thank you Gift for great service.

Really bad Service, got my bill R127 paid R200 in cash, and the waitress thought this was her tip, eventuality got her attention, and asked where my change was, she sheepishly relied, oh how much did you want, I replied all of it, this took a while as I was made to wait while staff scratched through their wallets, won't be back here again

A very casual chilled beach style setup. Mozambique food and vibes. We had some drinks and obviously went for the peri peri chicken and prawns. Both loaded with sauce and we requested an extra kick were good. Unfortunately service was slow, even though restaurant was not busy. Our cocktails of long island and caipirinha were not upto scratch. Prices though are reasonable and I'm keen to return.

When we popped in there was a rum festival on the go and the atmosphere was quite festive. Lots of jugs of red liquor were being ordered which we later learnt was Tipo Tinto, rum and a red cordial mix. We were happy with our 2M beers. Service was good with management buzzing about. The rissoles were quite tasty with the accompaniments. My prego was one of the best I’ve had in Jozi and the seafood was delicious too, I hear.
