Food cooked to perfection and a night that couldn't have been more romantic! The team at Truffles really outdid themselves! I recommend parking across the road at the Raddison if you are going to leave your car overnight!
Best place to forget about being in Sandton without leaving Sandton! This truly is a "Tropical Oasis" in the heart of the city! Perfect for guests staying at the Radisson Blu hotel!
Such a pretty spot. Lovely view from the deck. Food was great and tasty. Service was attentive. Lovely spot for brunch with the gals. Great selection of tapas style plates as well as general mains to choose from.
The service was exceptional. Our waiter was amazing. Attentive, prompt and generally fun. The view is great and there is plenty of space. The bar area is beautiful.
Food - 3.5 (The carrot cake could have been fresher, dessert in general was a let down). The chicken pasta and vegeterian pasta options were good. The wings were good as well.
Most likely to go back to try out their meat. The wine prices were reported to be reasonable by my companions.
A place like this is long overdue in Sandton. A restaurant with a park setting. And yes, the food is amazing too. And the service- top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh creative salads and the range of vegetarian options. The decor is so picturesque. Highly recommended and it’s family friendly too.

Being a fairly new restaurant and seeing mixed reviews about it I was intrigued but hesitant to try Truffles. Made a booking for Sunday lunch and was warned that the restaurant is extremely full on Sunday's and that it was. We arrived to a warm greeting by the wait staff and was promptly seated at our table, which was a beautiful tree slab table. Decor in the restaurant is really pretty and would make a beautiful venue in the summertime.
We were served by a lovely guy affectionately known as T Man, he truly made the experience at Truffles more enjoyable. And although the restaurant was super busy he was attentive and always on point.
We had a couple of starters to share the highlight however was the Fish Cakes. I was a bit disappointed by the Spicy Prawns which were incredibly under seasoned and quite tiny. In any event it was an average start to the meal.
The was a mix of main courses for the table but I had the lamb shoulder penne which was delicious. Penne cooked al dente and peas were still fresh and not mushy. To end I shared the chocolate and oreo torte which was incredibly indulgent and a beautiful way to end the meal.
Overall it was a great day out and I would visit again 😁

Ever since Truffles on the Park opened in February this year, I've been intrigued by this Insta-friendly restaurant. I got the opportunity to see if the beautiful photos match the menu offerings. I joined a handful of good friends to sample and savour Truffles' breakfast menu. Truffles on the Park started serving weekend breakfasts as from the 1st of June. When we popped in for breakfast on the 8th of June, the restaurant was packed. Now that already says a lot about the buzz and excitement this new hotspot generates.
We tasted bite-sized samples of the items available on the breakfast menu, including Chia Seed breakfast (vegan-friendly), salmon scramble, mushrooms on toast (with a dash of truffle mayonnaise), and my ultimate favourite - the Truffles benedict! This, ladies and gentlemen, is a thing of beauty! Poached eggs, pulled glazed short rib and truffle hollandaise - usually served on a croissant. Yes, it is as fantastic as it sounds! A must for truffle lovers. Of course Truffles' has got quite a few truffle-rich gems on the menu, and we just had to get a taste of the truffle parmesan fries. Twice fried potato fries with truffle aioli. Super delicious!
The venue itself is as gorgeous as their social media accounts promise it to be. Nearly 300 live plants, a beautiful and welcoming space. A real gem, right in the heart of Sandton! I spotted a few items on the menu (like the Wagyu steak sandwich), with my name on it! I will be back :)

• Menu Variety: Good variety, accommodates most dietary requirements in my view
• Food: Anything with rich, beautiful truffles
Drinks: Full bar, good wine list, variety of beers (including local favourites like Soweto Gold) on tap
Loved how well the place is decorated. Perfect for an afternoon out with friends or family! The food was delicious and the portions were quite big! We ordered the steak open sandwich and seafood pasta :) with a litchi flavoured gin. Will definitely visit again :)
