I think Godfather sandton has the most amazing staff and food.I will recommend this place to anyone.my boyfriend and I had a lovely time there with all his friends celebrating his birthday in style.A big thank you to the manager Mr Bongani you are simply the best.
Lovely atmosphere....Awesome food and had the best time. Khan was a lovely waiter and the Maitre'd was a breath of fresh air. Thanks to Noma for ushering us in like royalty.
I have been going to the Codfather since 2015 and in the past 5 years the vibe, the service and the food has remained excellent. If you love seafood and want an easy breezy atmosphere...codfather is your joint

We had a team lunch at the Codfather. We sat in the outside area at a reserved table. For starters we shared platters containing servings of pork ribs, grilled calamari, chicken wings and tempura battered veggies. The ribs and the wings were delicious.
For mains I had the Norwegian salmon served with stirfry. It was very good - fresh and well cooked and the accompanying vegetables were delicious. Unfortunately I didn't stay long to have dessert. But overall I was happy with the food, service and decor.
Went for dinner last night and the food and service was top of the line. Had Moçambique prawns as main course and the best I ever had in South Africa. And my compliment to Rob the maestro himself for his knowledge and service mind.
The best dining experience I’ve had in recent times, just exquisite in every way imaginable. Outstanding service, food was stupendous, as well as being incredibly well priced!! I’d recommend this place to anyone who enjoys not only fish, but steak too. Puts the Grillhouse to shame. Can’t say enough about this place!
Love The Codfather for delicious seafood and grills. Extensive wine collection. Try the Charred Octopus starter and seafood pasta in a creamy sauce for a main👍🏼
Out for a nice relaxed lunch before the 4pm movie and was seriously in the mood for some seafood, so the codfather popped up as a good place to try.
1st of all the setting is amazing and have a really chilled and relaxing vibe, we were seated at the pool deck and loved the winter sun against our backs.
Our server were just as warm and friendly, his service was prompt and very professional.
We decided to go for the platter and was not disappointed, the langoustines were done to perfection, the calamari was just the right amount of butterly garlic goodness and the mussels were to die for, amazingly fresh, sweet and was cooked to perfction, soft to the point of melt in your mouth.

The best choice for fresh seafood! Expensive, but valued. You could tell them how you want them to cook and the favor. However they couldn't cook like a Chinese still fire...but it is still delicious.
Celebrated a birthday here last night. 7 Of us. Drinks, food all served timeously although the restaurant was packed! Sushi amazing!!! Portions not the biggest for the price u pay, but it is in the heart of tourist haven Sandton so prices are quite steep. But gorgeous restaurant and will go back for a special occasion!
