Awesome place for sea food. I liked the platter where you get all verities. The best off course was the tiger prawn. Also liked the shell. Nice place.

Had a phenomenal meal at Ocean Basket Sandton City tonight. I had the 24 prince prawns with a top up of calamari (I haven't had much of an appetite this week and it came back with a vengeance tonight). My bf had the 10 kings with calamari which he also really enjoyed.

A big thanks to our waiter Eddie who was on point, he was a bit delayed with bringing our bill (which we didn't notice) and apologised for the delay and explained the reason, which was fully understandable. I just found it refreshing to have that kind of service.

Overall a 10/10 all round (service, ambiance and food)-we'll definitely be back soon.Greg Cohen

If you want a quick and delicious mediterranean type sea food, this is your address. The price quality ratio is very good. I like especially calamari and prawn.

I generally have either calamari and chips or hake and chips at Ocean Basket. It is a hit and miss as it can be fantastic the one day and horrible the next. This time around my calamari & hake combo was just right. Perfect affordable quick lunch.

Amazing!!! It is my second time to visit in this branch. So far it has always been an excellent visit. The first time I was with a colleage and we were atill eating but they wew closing.they didnt rush us and was not making us feel that we need to hurry our meals. On my second visit the servers were still great and same food was amazing. The server was super friendly. Will come back soon! Highly recommended!

Located at the famous Sandton City mall. They have seating on two floors. Friendly staff. Good service. I had the Pick of the Ocean, platter for 1 person with salad in the side. The platter consist of 6 prince prawns, fish and calamari. The food was very fresh, awesome taste. They server bread with butter on the side too. The quality and quality is very good.

I was so impressed with the service I received last night at ocean basket, Sandton city. They got our food ready within 10 minutes and had our dessert ready in about 5. They were extremely friendly and I highly recommend enjoying yourself at Ocean Basket. The service was excellent and the food was extremely tasty.

This Ocean Basket has been around for as long as I can remember. Generally Ocean Basket is an affordable family restaurant, nothing spectacular just good value for money kind of place. Well this is the second Ocean Basket that I have eaten at in the past few months and I have been wowed by not only the quality of the food but the service as well. This time our waiter Alek was great! Food was prepared well, served quickly and portions were generous. The only thing that was not that great for me was presentation of the food.
