We had the privilege of meeting the chef/owner. Wonderful staff at the establishment.
We ordered the chocolate mousse pancake. It was incredibly good! They weren't shy with the mousse and the texture of the pancake was perfect. The cappucino was also one of the best we had in a while. What added to the whole experience was the beautiful view overlooking the mountains.
We went back a day later for waffles and again it exceeded our expectations.
The establishment is only about 2 months old (new owners) however here's hoping them lots of success!

We stopped here for breakfast and had a perfect time ☺️
The manager is super funny and provides a perfect service.
The pancakes are more than delicious - sweet and savoury.
Coffee is also good and you can enjoy a good view from the terrace.
Prices are fair and all our special wishes and changes in the meal were no problem 👍🏻

I always saw this place & told myself ill try it. Went there today & i dont regret. As soon as i walked in a gentleman came assuming he is the manager. Asked for an iced coffee & he made it for me real quick. I placed an order and before i could finish my iced coffee my waffle & chicken mayo sandwich was on my table. I was a bit skeptical of the caramel & banana waffle recommended by the waitress thinking it would be overwhelmingly sweet but everything was balanced . I recommend this place. Especially because u can have your food while enjoying the mountains view. I would rate it 10 stars if i could. Keep it up.

Had a nice brunch at Petena Pancakes by a recommendation from our host.
The place is very nice and clean and we were warmly welcomed by the staff.
The service is very good and so were the food and drinks.
The owner was also on site and made sure we are happy and even assisted us with choosing a dessert.
It was a lovely brunch, I strongly recommend giving a visit.

Really lovely little place with excellent service. The waiter and the owners are very attentive.
We had the fish and chips which is a new addition to the menu. It was good value for money and served with a smile. There is also really great free WiFi.
The pancakes are a must. The chocolate brownie one especially. Whenever we are in this part of South Africa, Petena Pancakes is a must visit.

The absolute best pancakes I've ever had, ate 4 different ones 🙈. Their lamb curry pancake is my absolute favorite. Good food and service, out of 5 they deserve a 10.
