Surf and turf, bacon and cheese burger was great Ribs were good but the veggies we has with was a bit of a downer. Miss the old memorabilia that was always here, our waiter was really awesome, would recommend you pop in for a classic style lunch

This beautiful restaurant set inside an old railway carriage. There is a lot of fun decorations inside as well as a koi pond. The put-put course is not in good condition anymore unfortunately. This place has been near to my heart since I was a small boy visiting the breathtaking laevelt. It was always the 'Go to' place during our trips there. Unfortunately there has been a change in management due to the harshness of the covid pandemic on the tourism industry. The management is not bad but the place is clearly understaffed and a lot of the warm decorations that were trademarks of the once iconic restaurant are now gone. The staff are still some of the friendliest people and they are always fun to talk to. Now, the part that is the reason you would go to this restaurant. The food. The food is exceptionally well made and it is well worth the half hour wait. I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant and this is the reason why I am giving old Smokey's 4 stars instead of 3. If you have never been here, I would definitely recommend it! If you have been there, and plan to go again then be prepared to feel like seeing an old friend who is not in such good condition.
