This is the number 1 steakhouse in my family. We've been visiting this restaurant since it opened in Westgate mall BACK IN THE DAY, celebrated most of our birthdays, including my 21st birthday dinner so it's been the best. The food is GREAT, never disappoints and the staff has always been great whenever we there, even when they moved to the new location. The service is great and I always use it as a benchmark when I visit other restaurants.
Have been looking for a place with a nice carvery on a Saturday night , and we found it. Really had great food, not a huge selection. We will definitely go back.
Definitely a restaurant I would go to over and over again. The selection of foods are great, the service is impeccable and there has never been a night i have gone there and its been quiet. Always a buzz and friendly faces! Never been disappointed. Thanks guys!
Lovely Sunday lunch. The waiter was friendly but we had to ask about speacials and so on. I think one should be told without asking.
The baked potatoes are to die for. The prawn didn't have flavour at all, afterall Great food!!
We had combos so that we could try out different dishes. Worth it...
I was too full to go for a dessert.
Will definately come back.

@Snoobam very good food. Had a fillet Thermador with chips. Chips were very nice. The fillet was cooked exactly how I requested it. Our waiter, Allen, was friendly and attentive.
Lovely restaurant. Indoor and closed outdoor seating. Kiddies play area. All the staff are attentive from the welcoming desk to the waiters and management. Delicious meals 😋 and a full menu with something for everyone.
We booked a table for 6 to watch the rugby. 8 people ended up showing up but the restaurant was hospitable. Good food just a bit pricey R200 per person got main meals and one drink. Their liquor menu was good to very reasonable. Kiddies play area available too.
Treat yourself and your family by dining at The Porterhouse. This restaurant is my all time favourite place to eat. Their food is sooo good. Everything on their menu is tasty. I enjoy the ribs with porteguese sauce. This restaurant has been around since I was a child.
Was in the mood for a Sunday lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered the buffet. The veggies were fabulous. I could not choose my favourite between them. Everyone had its own flavour and was prepared to perfection.
The chicken 🐔 was prepared perfectly,juicy not dry. I must say I am not a favourite of pork, but it was lovely and I ate every little bit. The beef was a little bit dry to my liking. Overall our waiter was friendly with a nice wittyness. O ja, I nearly forgot the milkshakes were also nice. We ordered lime and barone, I loved my barone milkshake and had to ask for a spoon. Thanks guys keep up the high standard.

Honestly the food was delicious ( and I am fussy) service was good and the selections was great.
For R220 we had starter, mains and a dessert. P.s we could dish up as many times as we could eat of our mains. Needless to say we almost rolled out.

What a wonderful time we had with my family. Gavin (probably one of the managers)made us feel at home. He came while we were eating to ask us if we were enjoying our meal. The prices are just right. Matthew Ncube , the waiter, was friendly and very helpful. Porterhouse, keep up the good work!
This place is really nice and cozy. From the moment we stepped in we felt welcome. Their food is amazing. All of us had something different and tasted from each other's plates. Their milkshakes taste super yummy. We had beef ribs, oxtail, chicken corden blue, a chicken burger and the carvery (which they serve 7days a week).
