I can't fault Al Fresco's on anything! The service was fantastic, the food was absolutely divine - if you're looking for value for your money, you need to visit this place! The children's play area is a definite bonus - was so nice being able to enjoy a cappuccino at my table whilst watching my child play. Will definitely visit again!!

First time going there i was a bit weary but what a surprise fantastic pizza and very nice decor. Will be going back for sure to try the rest of the menu

Love this place! Been going here for years, haven't been since the revamp and new management, but can't wait to go back. I always have the blue cheese gnocchi, with extra everything. Best blue cheese sauce in joburg!

Al Fresco is one of our regular Sunday lunch venues.
The food is consistently good and the staff are friendly and attentive.
The wine list has some good value for money choices. One example: Big Easy Cabernet Sauvignon - which is incorrectly labeled on the wine list. It is actually a Shiraz driven blend (cab sauv only 20%) but a real bargain at R 140.

The lamb shank was absolutely fabulous! Couldn't ask for better. Went back there three times without checking their hours first - stupid! Terribly sad since we've found them closed every time! Definitely will continue supporting them!

We had a lovely dinner at Al Fresco. Good menu, with something for everyone. Amazing garlic snails in a focaccia basket for starters and a massive portion of prawns, potatoes, roast veggies and spinach. The crunchy caramel chocolate icecream was tasty but abit cristalized. The prices are reasonable. The service was great. The waitress was on point. Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu 👏🏻

We always have a good time here. Such friendly service and amazing food. Food comes fast and it's never a disappointment! We enjoy coming here.
Family of ours grew up in the house that is now Al Fresco so we also love the nostalgia of the restaurant.
For a family night out or just a dine-out with great food, go there!

They are busy revamping the restaurant, think it's going to be lovely when finished. Their pizzas are by far our favourite! Our kids love their Mac and cheese.

I was invited for a year end function. Had the most amazing time and I just love how they had no issues with adjustments to the menu , very flexible. Since we had our own private room, they allowed us to play our own music The owners were very visible and the staff friendly and helpful. It was definitely worth the drive. I will be back.
