I was craving a wrap, so I decided to come here. Unfortunately though, they didn’t have the gluten free wraps so that was quite disappointing. (This why I didn’t rate 5 stars)
So I decided I’d try the Butter Chicken warm bowl. And I LOVED IT. It was nice and filling and the flavour was spot on. Super happy. ☺️
This Kauai makes a good wrap, but last time we were there they forgot they'd made our order and we waited longer than we needed to. But it was still yum. I like the Mexican wrap without chicken, making it vegan.
I wouldn't normally write a review for a massive franchises store, but I feel that since the quality of service and of the smoothie was so good, that I might as well.
I ordered the 'Peanut Butter Bliss' which is my new favourite on their extensive list of smoothies.
It was the perfect texture and had consistent flavour.
The staff here are really friendly and welcoming, and for that I'll definitely come back again.
Friendly fast service. Clean store. Delicious smoothies in a convenient location. What more could I want? I'd definitely be back when in Rondebosch again!
As a regular Kauai goer I enjoy their awesome variety of health foods and their friendly service. Their student deals are awesome too! When you're on the go and in need of food but you're in search of a healthier alternative, Kauai always gets the job done and there wraps are surprisingly filling. The old style chicken Cesar is a personal favorite.
Today I went in for a Floo shot but I frequent at this Kauai. I love this place! The floo shot was strong and the presentation of it was creative and reminded me of an actual tequila shot. The kick also reminded me of an actual tequila shot... Cayenne pepper, ginger, honey, orange and lemon all perfectly blended into a healthy boost for R15.
Tried the Vitamin See smoothie that has mango, pineapple, carrots, and a vitamin C shot. It was good, but tasted very much like orange and carrots.
Ordered a flu shot and a ginger shot off ubereats. The service was very quick and the flu shot was incredibly strong due to the pepper so hopefully that means it will work!
It would seem I am going against the grain here!! I ordered a chai wrap with steak instead of chicken. The wrap initially looked small but as you eat it you realise it is pretty filling, which is a plus. The taste didn't blow me away but it was a good choice for lunch. The ginger and steak combo was interesting but ultimately enjoyable.
I recently had an issue with the Moroccan wrap sauce here, and was turned off completely. However, the owner and the management team went to great lengths to resolve this and have indeed improved. A great spot, quick with service, and their peanut butter bombs are top class
