Simply.. "A Swallow In Awesomeness" experience! Somehow food eaten out of a box with a set of chop sticks is already So Yum 👅 and fun ... but when the food is fresh, crisp and bursting with flavour it really is extra special! Our waitress, Patience, lived up to her name with all our fussiness and presented perfectly prepared, tummy & heart warming meals with a smile! I love that you can "custom make" your box (or plate for the more eco friendly and less weird) with whichever starch, protein and heat 🌶 takes your fancy. And if you thought that Asian stir fries are too cool & summery, or better eaten out of the box at home; think again. Simply Asia has created a beautifully warm indoorsy experience with cosy heaters and a great wine list, also corkage is also only R25!!! This may well become our new quick & easy go to!
Wonderful evening with a spot of Simply Asia sushi and a glass of wine! Best way to start the weekend with my favourite restaurant. Highly recommended to any of those looking for a bite to eat and friendly faces.
Ordered Simply Asia with some friends and we were more than happy with our decision! Tasty sushi salad take out and soup was a good idea! Simply yum!! Go Parktown North Simply Asia. You will have me back!
My in-laws are visiting from Glasgow and my f-i-l and I are both fans of noodles .. so Simply Asia it was. I think they do themselves a disservice by looking a little like a fast food outlet when in fact they are not ..we were warmly welcomed and the service remained excellent throughout. For starters we had sweet corn cakes which were loaded with sweet corn and very yum ! I ordered 514 and my husband had 307 - he rated his so good he was tempted to have another round - fortunately we saved him from himself !! The menu is listed in numbers in case you have trouble with pronunciation - both my in-laws had stir fry which they thoroughly enjoyed. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. I have to take a moment to say how delicious, crisp, fresh and well presented my Ba-mee prik phao was .. definitely found a new favourite and will be back soon. I must apologize for my pics - I started to eat before I remembered a pic ?!?!? 😮

Trying to deviate from our usual: 514, we sampled a few different dishes at this restaurant:
622 - Linguine Phad Tom Yum - absolutely delicious!!! The Lemongrass enhanced the prawn's flavour and the tomato in roasted chilli paired with the linguine, was absolute sublime!
314 - Khao Phad Thai - My 2 & 1/2 year old devoured this! Honestly! I tried it when we first received it and the next thing I know, he's stuffing his face with this possessive stance, as if to say, "back off this is mine!" It had onions, tomatoes, spring onions, fried rice and egg (his favorite) in a delicious stir fry sauce. If you ever want to see a 2 year old finish an entire box of food in 1 sitting - give him this or the 514 and be amazed!
403 - Ba-Mee Phad Sie-Eiuy Je - My first time having a vegetarian noodle dish and especially first time trying out a veg dish from Simply Asia and it wasn't bad at all! If you're not a broccoli, spinach, tofu and cauliflower fan (like my husband) then I suggest you don't try this. I enjoyed it as the yellow noodles together with dark, sweet soya sauce slightly masked the taste of the veggies, so I didn't feel like I was having a completely vegetarian dish.
Recently opened , a fresh face around Parktown north, good service , friendly owner and a great value if you are having salmon salad with steam rice .

We popped in here for a Sunday lunch. I had my usual, the 403 noodles, these noodles are amazing, I absolutely love them!
I also tried the chocolate spring rolls with ice cream, the pastry was a little too think and chewy and the chocolate was a little too rich. The service we received here was good and I'd definitely come back for the noodles.
amazing food. they dont skimp on the sauce or spices. sushi is glorious. Mains came piping hot, not cold like other simply asias. This simply asia is the best one of them all!
Popped in here looking for a quick dinner. Food was crunchy and delicious - had the 514 and 505 as mains. Downside was being specifically asked to order starters and mains at the same time, and then having them arrive at the table together.... If a restaurant is not busy, I see no point in having to place the orders together and then more peculiarly having everything arrive together, on a small table...
Ordered take aways 314 with chillies and 225. It was simply amazing. I love chillies so I am always glad when my order is granted 😊. Just noticed I was charged extra, not sure why though. Anyways, for the love of chillies, I will be going back
