Review Mugg & Bean - Randburg

Patrick Claassens
Mugg & Bean has always been one of my favourite places to get food from. It is a habit to get their giant muffins to go every once in a while. But lately Mugg & Bean has made some weird changes. The food’s portions have drastically decreased and it seems like they just give you less and less, but you pay more and more. I had the South African egg Benedict which cost R112 and it did not even come with chips. The quality of food is great and the redo they did at this Mugg & Bean looks spectacular, it is just the fact that it is becoming more of a Michelin experience rather than a relaxed and good time.

Great, Friendly Staff... especially Nkosi & Pretty. Took some honest feedback on a new dish on the menu. But our meal overall was great and the most perfect poached eggs I've ever had. Delicious breakfast all round 😋♥️

I have been to quite a few M&Gs and this one is one of the better ones. Service was good and waiters are highly attentive. Meal preparation time was impressively fast and the food was excellent which is something that tends to lack in their other restaurants. I had a burger, enjoyed it but my only query was that the patty was quite small in size in comparison to the bun used other than that, I enjoyed it. By the way, they had this free re-fill juice but couldn't even finish the first glass, bummer. Menu pricing is affordable and I will give then a rating of 8/10. I highly recommend. Only odd thing we noticed upon entering the restaurant was that the waiters seem to have a tug of war for clients and the waiter seemed to want to impose on where we should sit, which I'm guessing were tables she was responsible for which we declined as we had our own choice. Other than that, we enjoyed our meals.

I personally loved my first time experience. Walked in and was greeted by 2 gentlemen, of which 1 of them (Dennis) was my waiter. He sat me down , got my amazing classic cocktail I think it's called (don't remember). It was amazing by the way and very chilled which made me enjoy it even more. I had an eggs Benedict with which was so delicious, fresh and that hollandaise sauce is to die for. I can't rave enough about how good the food and service was. Dennis was so attentive and made sure I was satisfied to the fullest. I left there so happy and was so impressed by his service and how kind he was to me. Big ups to Dennis, you deserve every amazing tip that comes your way. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoy Mugg & Bean Cresta. In my opinion it's the best one. Been coming here for years and the staff have always been warm and welcoming. I must admit, when they are at full capacity they tend to get flustered and occasionally forget about you, but it is rare. The food that they serve is usually 4 out of 5 with an occasional 3.5. They also have plug points that allow you to work with a laptop or when you have a lunch meeting. Really great place. Would recommend to anyone.

Had the Big Ben egg benedict. Wasn't bad. I just felt it lacked in the presentation and freshness of the food, as how I've come to like about Mugg & Bean. Also struggled greatly to get my waiter's attention. He didn't check in frequently and was like a horse with flaps on. If he did pass you or close by, he doesn't even notice a waving or raised hand. Some staff need to be more attentive.

06/01/21 - Just had moldy Millionaires and Black Forest cakes at M&B Cresta...disgusting & very disappointing! Got the receipt to show... Update: 23/01/21 (2 weeks later) - So M&B got in touch with me regarding the review I left (above) and said they were very concerned and disappointed about our experience and asked that I get in touch with them. So the manager of M&B Cresta called me a few days after asking me to come see him. Today we finally went and instead of cake and cappuccino (our last order), we decided to go for breakfast as it was before noon. Suffice to say, this experience was 100 times better than our last, which I rated with a 1-star 2 weeks ago. We were required to pay something towards our breakfast bill. So it wasn't a total freebie, which I honestly expected after what happened during our last visit. You can't win them all I suppose. Breakfast and the service was lovely! Thank you Mandhla and staff for everything! I have now revised my rate of your establishment. I will make sure to pop by next time I'm in South Africa again. I think it's time we go home now...

Great service from our waiter Alex. He had a consistent smile on his face which was so welcoming. Food was great and healthy portions although we thought the cheese cake could be better.

I have not been to a Mug & Bean in quite some time as I've had bad experiences at other branches. So this morning we sat down at Cresta and was pleasantly surprised with the good service and the food was actually enjoyable. Hope they keep this up!

I was at Mugg and Bean cresta for the first time thanks for the great service I was given by Jennifer she's so friendly not forgetting the welcome I was given the waiter by the name of Brian the food is great brilliant service from cresta stuff

Best service! Amazing food! The amazing treatment! The attentiveness! Don't rob yourself off happiness!

Amazing service, with ample space and seating selections. This place could easily get 5 starts if the cutlery is sharpened and the food is served slightly warmer. Great job all round.

Muggbean waiters are so cool i went there with my friends it's a great place to have breakfast and coffee.

Always good friendly staff Servers are very efficient and go the extra mile I generally do a breakfast muffin but opted for their scones this time Their bakers never disappoint The scone was crunchy on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside Their hot chocolate was slightly sweeter than I'd prefer but still really great Not really very crowded but their spacious seating arrangement allows you to feel comfortable

When I entered the restaurant I was assigned to a waitress named Pearl. I didn’t like the way she welcomed me, she just looked at me up and down like i didn’t belong in the restaurant. Later called someone else to come serve me, that lady was very friendly and had a beautiful smile( it’s a pity I forgot her name but I gave her a good tip)
Joyce Keung
The staff aren’t the friendliest compared to the Sandton branch. The quality of food is quite consistent between the different branches which i am impressed of.
They have much more varieties now on the menu and have many “small foods” too in case you are not so hungry.
Bhakti
Disappointed. Not sure why they’re offering a dish they really don’t know how to make. Used to having good food from here but nachos were like eating dry, flavourless Doritos chips.
Hengie
My companion had a tall chocolate milkshake with a choc chip muffin and I had a serious cuppachino to go.
Mugg & Bean has never failed to deliver and everything was great.
The lady behind the till was very friendly and our order was in front of us within no time at all.

I think they should stick to breakfast and baked food! The banana muffin was great with cheese - loved it!

But I was hungry, so I had food before the muffin which the meat tasted stale but the veggies were delicious!

I really didn’t even have high expectations!
Jalapeño Popper
Those who follow me know I’m not a huge fan of m&b... however I had the most incredible breakfast with decent service at the cresta branch...
The bacon and egg toast is perfect in size, price and packed with flavor... the fresh coriander and slightly spicy salsa complimented and lifted a regular meal to a new level... I ordered the poached eggs to keep the oil levels down and they broke perfectly over the bacon, releasing the soft yolk, which infused into every mouthful... will add that to my favorite early morning meals...
We ordered a side of livers to the American breakfast which was just as excellent... wonderful meal with gorgeous company...
Anél Fourie
A high star rating for the above average service and attention to detail at this branch. Lunch was only toasties but excuted extremely well. Loved that we were attented to promptly during a busy time of the day. Chicken Mayo was tangy and delicious. Well done to a chain not being average

If you love coffee and a quick lunch date with a friend, this branch is a great spot in a shopping centre.

I’ve always been a fan of Mugg & Bean, but still feel like they are a bit overpriced.

this is a great mug and bean, it's one of my favorites. the service is amazing and the food is always top notch. would definitely recommend this to others.

Went in for a late breakfast. The service was quite slow. My waitress brought my coffee without sugar, by the time I could locate her to ask for sugar my coffee was cold. The breakfast was good though. Also Had a Pimms Classic "cocktail" which I'm pretty sure had zero alcohol in it. Disappointing.
Tino
When there for a mini lunch date, a month ago and the service was just too good, the waiters are also willing to help and work efficiently with orders, best place to go for a quick bite of moist cake
Byron Anthony Morris
Service is normally really good and friendly - the really have the family vibe good weekend mornings for breakfast. I enjoy sitting near the area where they back so I can watch that and I always order the wings and blue cheese. It's my things. How great are the little biscuits that come with the coffee?
Usha
Thank you Mug & Bean it was a lovely surprise to be gifted this devine cake for my husbands birthday...Meals was tasty n fresh .Moses our waiter was a delight friendly n awesome . Bobby Bhugwandin
Chris De Beer
The m & b franchise has come a long way . The menu is big and gud variety . The iced coffee milkshake was ok . The scone was big and tasty . Still a gud place for a quick coffee .
The Banana Guy
Even though they don't have Banana milkshake on the menu, they didn't hesitate to fulfill my desire. The milkshake was super thick which is nice for when you wants to sip on a milkshake to savor the moment. The white/yellow colour with the mystical yellow syrup prepares the taste buds for 'yumminess'. The ice creams dims the artificial banana flavor and it's quite enjoyable.

This place gets 4out of 5 just for their Caribbean Mocha YUM! I'm not a lover of coffee but this is the perfect mix of coconut and coffee...
Tam Loves Food
Old faithful! Always have a good experience here. The vibe is good, has a pleasant bustle about it. Service was excellent and our waiter was most attentive to our many requests. Food was up to standard.

I don't know why I've never written a review for the Cresta Mugg & Bean - I've been going there for years. As a regular customer, I can say that their service is good, their food tasty, and their cakes are divine.

I went there for dinner last night, and had a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries, and a lemon ice tea. I then had a slice of their caramel millionaire cake for dessert.

The wrap was absolutely delicious, with the perfect ratio of chicken to greens (cucumber, rocket and avo). The sweet chilli sauce was the cherry on the top - all in all, a wonderful meal. The cake was also phenomenal. The biscuit pieces in the caramel icing added a superb crunch and texture change, the cream cheese icing was a palate cleanser, and the chocolate swirl in top was delightful.

This is a restaurant I keep going back to, and that I recommend to anyone in the area.

Delious dairy free breakfast this morning; Pineapple, Banana smoothie bowl with coconut milk topped with cranberries and coconut shavings, accompanied with cappuccino with soya milk☕ it's so freshing to know there are places with dairy and gluten free food options avaliable all the time.
Well done Mugg & Bean 😄
Kevin Purves
Generally disappointing experience. The servers accost you for a table as soon as you climb off the escalator; long before you even get to the restaurant. Then, once they've got you inside, they're surly and poorly trained. The menu is expansive, but most of what you order is very average, and generally overcooked and dry. Their cocktails are pathetic, and management is completely absent. Such a good location and such potential; and yet so badly run!!! We've given then half a dozen chances to impress us, but have now had enough - we wont be back!
Elize Cloete
The franchise is similar everywhere but I must admit the service is better at this branch

Menu has a wide array of choices

Great for a quick coffee if needed

Nothing that makes it stand out
@theFamilyMan
Type of food = Casual dining
Quality of food = Nothing special
Service = Disinterested and aloof
Ambience = Family
Reservation = Don’t take reservations
Parking = Pay parking
Neighbourhood = Felt safe
Kid friendliness = Not kid friendly
Dress Code = Casual
Cleanliness = Adequate

CONCLUSION = Only go if you have no other option-service terrible and no remorse when forgetting about us and getting our order wrong
Kineshea Pillay
A usual spot for us is the Mugg and Bean in Cresta. The food is generally good and the new menu gives us more options to try.
This time I tried the black and blue burger and it was really delicious. The blue cheese was not overpowering and the bacon was cooked to perfection. I don't usually have the burgers at Mugg and Bean but whenever I have tried them they haven't let me down. The bare back burger in particular was pleasantly surprising.

While the food has a standard that is kept, the service does not. You never know what you going to get. Sometimes the service is top notch while other times (like this particular visit) it's somewhat lacking.
Jonathan Theo Naidoo
Mugg & Bean Cresta is a regular place for me to eat at if im doing shopping or running erands. The food is really good and you can never go wrong with the quality. The only issue for me is that the service is either hit or miss. One day it can be really swift and friendly and on a different day it can be slow and unfriendly. Its still one of my favourite Mugg & Beans though, but its the irregular quality of service that prevents me from giving it a 3 or 3,5.
Carole Craggs
This is definitely my favourite Mugg and Bean. The food is up to the franchise standards - huge portions and good quality, but what makes it different is the excellent service by waiters and managers.
Theodorah Manjo
In the space of 1 month I have been there 3 times and the service was absolutely lovely.

The food is more than you expect and it's such a beautiful feeling not to know where to start on your plate because everything looks amazing! Steak is so well cooked, chewed my tongue right off, the vegetables are beautifully prepared.

The American Coffee made my tummy run for a good day and a half, I may be sensitive to cream - if this is you - STAY AWAY.

Milkshakes are absolutely lovely!

The tables are really small, that's the one thing that always hacks me - touching news with everyone but otherwise, definitely live M&B!
Daniel Wiggill
Classic mug and bean what you see and expect is what you get.
Love the great attentive service. Even on a busy Saturday the food comes out quickly and of the expected level of quality... Just lately all branches seem to have lost their wow/shine everything seems mass produced.

But still oneof the better value for money brunch stops.
Derek Hall
I feel completely ripped off. See my photo of the slightly larger than a teacup of mainly mushroom and butternut pie. Admittedly, there were a few thin slivers of beef.
I am growing sick and tired of M&B starting a dish, then progressively reducing the original size of the actual dish, and reducing the main (expensive) ingredient to almost nothing and adding big button mushrooms instead.
Do the chefs and costing head office bean counters don't think us consumers are going to sit down at their tables and take this kind of abuse. Enough.
Their sloppy joe skillet has taken exactly the same turn. More mushroom than meat. More hot air than substance.
To top it all off, Ockert the manager defended this by saying 'that's the portion size, sir'... Proof of my point.
I bid farewell to the best lemon meringue (also being reduced in portion size) as I will not darken a M&B door again.
Enjoy your last R90 rip off from me M&B.
Goodbye.

I ordered some breakfast ,service was good and liked that management came to check on us, I disliked the sweet potato chips, they were thick and oily ,breakfast portion was large
Stuart Evans
Popped in for a quick bite with my son before a movie. Ordered a toasted chicken mayonnaise on rye and in the very first bite got a 3cm long chicken bone!!!!! The manager did apologize but there is no excuse for that whatsoever!!!!!!
Andre
I honestly don't understand why this Mugg & Bean has such a low rating but then again I've only ever had good service and the quality of food (decently priced portion sizes etc) that one expects from Mugg and Bean.

I can say that I like the way they have remodeled this outlet and the new additions to the menu (like the peanutbutter and banana supershake and green tea latte) have livenend up the menu a bit but I wish they hadn't removed the Cajun chicken wrap.

Overall a good coffee/light lunch spot. Just like any other Mugg & Bean.

Candice Gerber
Definitely one of the biggest mugg n bean's I have been to but the size makes it not as welcoming as others I've been to. But the peanut butter smoothie is always my best and it didn't disappoint.
Dilene Cranna
My favorite peanut butter and banana smoothie is alway a winner at Mugg&Bean. Not too keen on this specific store as it is not warm and inviting like most of the other stores
Vera The Wine Snob
We were a little disappointed with this branch. I obviously got the salmon eggs benedict which I asked for avo on the side and soft eggs which I assume means the yolk is soft not the egg white. I don't Know how they managed to screw up my egg. The hollandaise sauce was amazing, as usual. My fiancé's farmhouse breakfast also had under cooked egg white abd the boerewors they used for it, was terrible! The service was above average but my low score comes from the way they dropping their food quality. Not impressed
CharM
Perfect omlette with all kinds of goodies was exactly what we needed after Christmas. Good M&B standard with friendly staff. Happy breakfast!
Amy Lara Baxter
A big space and always very busy! Keeps up with the Mugg & Bean standard. Lovely to stop for a coffee and mean while shopping. Always had great service. Nothing to complain about at all.
Zizke
The food is exceptional, the updated menu has a great variety. We had the Chipotle burger and Jalapeño quesadilla. Great combination of hot chili and comfort food. Unfortunately this branch is not great. The service is non existent- waiters are too busy standing outside the restaurant chatting (pic enclosed). The current construction work has boarded up the usual view to the outside which makes the place feel cramped and dark.
Lara Lourens
One of my fav M&B branches. Now that they're revamped they're even cooler. The service is on a great standard and all they're food and coffee well prepared. One of the few worthwhile places in the mall. I had a delicious vegan salad while sipping on some chamomile tea... Yum!

At this restaurant, you will know exactly what to expect: fresh food, priced above average, but huge portions. The service is good, and they offer a wide variety of food on their menu. I was always mistakenly looking at Mugg & Bean as a breakfast restaurant, however, they also have very nice lunch and even early dinner items on their menu. Recommendation: A bottomless house coffee special (just keep in mind that only the first cup is served, the rest you have to help yourself), and any of the pot pies.
FoodLover
This Mugg & Bean, like all others, offers you large portions for a reasonable price, you know what to expect, and they will hardly disappoint. Worth a try for breakfast or lunch. And I will always recommend their bottomless house coffees.
Robin Fletcher
The food isn't bad but the service at Cresta Mugg and Bean has invariably been very poor - even on quiet days the waiters are hard to corner and even simple meals take ages to arrive.
Cláudia Monica Rodrigues
Franchises, sigh. Like a luke warm cup of tea. Won't let you down, yet won't inspire.
Food is good. Service is good. Ambience is good. Location is good.
Cassandra Mahlangu
Mugg and bean was terribly.. waiter was MIA.. my food was in tge warmer too long it dried out.. my friends burger was underwhelming. . Second time we had bad service. . We couldn't tip..
Kim
Amazing! I have been to many Mugg &Beans and this one stands out! Amazing friendly staff, great food, over all good atmosphere. They cater for many special requests. Over all great experience
Chanel White
I must say that most of the restaurants in Cresta leave much to be desired. Mugg and Bean is average but at least not terrible. You know what to expect.
Darryl W
Same old same old. Won't let you down. Won't inspire. For a franchise operation, I salute M&B for offering consistency across most of their franchises across SA. Breakfasts are good. In the absence of other interesting new choices, I'm very happy to have the Benedict offer whether it's Cresta, Sandton, Woodmead or Pofadder...
Jonathan George Georgiades
This particular Mugg & Bean is awful. I had terrible food and absolutely shocking service on my last occasion there. The staff spend more time trying to reel people into the restaurant than actually serving them. I had some chicken pasta dish that I could not stomach, even after two bites. The waiter did not question why I sent the entire dish back. Will never return.
Tamlyn Arnold
Popped in for an afternoon treat and we were greated by really friendly waiters, seated quickly and placed an order with great suggestions from the waiter. The cakes are delicious. Once we had been served it took a while to get the waiters attention and pay our bill.
Jeanette Raletooane
The only reason I got out of bed was to go to the pharmacy and then go for a cuppa & giant muffin at my favouritest coffee shop.....which was a BIG disappointment.

First I ordered a passion fruit & water but recieved passion fruit & lemonade which I was chilled about. I then waited a while for Dennis before I could finally order a muffin but then again I thought its Sunday lunch, it's busy so I chose to be patient. I eventually ordered my dates & pecan nut muffin. Before placing my order Dennis took the couple's order next to me which was two eggs Benedict.

Their food came first, the guy finished his meal and I then only i finally asked how long my muffin would take as the reason i ordered a muffin was because it didn't need to be cooked...I was then told five minutes as it was being warmed up. But keep in mind that I was already waiting a good 20minutes. When the muffin finally came it was ice cold and that is what really pulled my panties. I send the muffin back and it still came back cold the second time so i thought best I just eat it so i could take my meds. The waiter was awful, slow woth no sign of interest from him and no sign of any of the three floor managers. Is that not the reason 'the floor managers' are there? so my day was ruined. I am most definitely not planning to rush back there any time soon. Bitterly disappointing experience! And for the first time I refused to leave a tip.....and still feel bad and that's not cool.
Cleo Courtney Pillay
Will always be one of my favourites. A classic and you KNOW you're going to enjoy your food. The waiter was so helpful and funny, and as always, my food and drinks were lovely.

Mugg & Bean as a whole is a good experience.
Marina Lofthouse
Not a bad food experience, however if you're breastfeeding mom - be ware. After ordering, what I thought was my favorite breakfast, Eggs Benedict, and snuggling up in a corner with my bub, I was asked to leave because my baby having breakfast has offended someone. The shop had about 10 customers spread all around, non of them in my vicinity. I, in my defense, was well covered up, in a remote spot. Needless to say, my breakfast was ruined, as well as my attitude towards Mugg & Bean.
Shilan Govender
I have been to plenty of mugg & beans around SA and decided to head for the cresta outlet today . With the friends and family - we had a variety of meals and drinks from the menu. I stuck to my standard bottomless coffee which I think is great. The portion sizes and value for money attract me to mugg & bean, as well as great displays of muffins and cakes :). I rate this outlet higher than others, as we had good service despite it being quite busy. The food was good and what you would expect from the chain though I have had better eggs benedict at other mugg & beans. Great place for a quick coffee and muffin. Only wish is that cresta mall would open up the place to more light as it was previously.
Garth Balabanoff
When you've been to one you've been to them all... That said, I had a very pleasant experience at this M&B yesterday. Great cuppuccino's served and service was a winner too (thanks Leon). What I particularly enjoyed about this M&B is that it wasn't too loud. Unfortunately I did not eat hence the average rating.
Bronwyn Esterhuizen
I have yet to enjoy a meal here as I have only stopped in for coffee on a number of occasions. The service has always been pleasant and the coffee satisfactory. On my most recent visit I was served by Leon who was friendly and attentive.
LuluFromJozi
Fresh food and friendly staff. We ordered one salad and they shared it in the kitchen which was nice. Their terrible "olive" oil turned out to be seed oils blended with only 15% extra virgin, but manager then came and apologized as he only now saw that too, once pointed it out. Thanks for reading. Please comment below and follow me if you appreciated this review!

Nice wraps, friendly service. The wedges and onion rings were a bit too oily for us, but overall, this is nice place to have a quick bite to eat while you are shopping at the recently renovated Cresta Shopping Centre. I would probably go back to Mugg & Bean for a simple meal.
Sachin Mistry
Great atmosphere. We were on the clock as we were going to watch a movie. We told our waitress that and she made sure our drinks and food came on time. Excellent service. Food was great as usual. I expect nothing less from them.

This is a delayed review of this M&B.

Met a friend for lunch at this M&B and it was really packed. However, we shown to a table on the outside of the restaurant proper but along a quiet walkway.

The waiter that served us was really a good waiter but unfortunately, I can't remember his name.

We both had the Chopstix Chicken Salad. The glazing on the chicken was delicious and the greens tasted fresh.

Why I marked down slightly the experience was that they had difficulty with the wireless credit card machines. The manager explained that because of the storm (it wasn't when I was trying to pay my bill), the connection was bad. So I had to walk from my table to the only one card machine which was linked by telephone line to pay. The queue was about 4 guests deep and it took a while before it was my turn. Nevertheless, the manager did apologize for the inconvenice.

A generally good experience at this M&B.
Theresa Offwood-le Roux
Great place to have a quick coffee or milkshake or dinner after a movie. We were quite late for dinner and the place was pretty much empty. So we got great service and they were not shy with the chips at all! And the chips were delicious - perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I don't think the chips are always this great - but they deserved a mention, hence this review :).

This mugg & bean gets very busy as it caters for cresta and the surrounding residential area. Unfortunately their service is very slow, it's even worse when it's busy. Have had a few issues with untrained waiters, but the food is what you would expect from any mugg & bean.
Kate Parker
I definitely have mixed feelings about this Mugg & Bean. Its great for a quick coffee but I've always experienced slow service. It takes forever to place an order and to even flag a waiter down to get the bill. On one occasion I ordered a glass of wine and the waiter didn't even know a) that they had a wine list b) if they even served wine. Some nice desserts and good food but I tend to stay with the coffee and toasted sandwiches (which are usually alright). Overall, a bit substandard. They could do better.
Sally Downie
The Mugg&Bean is a bit of an institution when it comes to quick meals that are reasonably priced. I am not a great fan of their portions as I feel that regardless of who I am with, there is often leftovers just because of the sheer size ! My mum is certainly not able to finish a muffin on her own much less a breakfast and some consideration, perhaps should be made for pensioners. But their food is definitely tasty & nicely presented. The service is always friendly but if you complicate the order by adding or detracting it is not always right (having said this, I do understand some of the confusion btwn table, waiter & kitchen) .. Always relaxed even when fairly busy and they don't hassle you in any way for your table - definitely recommend for an easy, tasty meal.
Devon Peters
I really enjoy the Mugg & Bean franchise - especially for breakfasts and light meals. Their revamp in the last 12 months has been very positive and I am still trying the new dishes each time I go to a branch. Having said all of this, the Cresta branch cannot be said to be the top of the pile.
The service was slow and not very experienced. My questions on the wrap were met with a blank expression. I enjoyed the vegetarian wrap when it arrived and the picture on the menu was most helpful but, no so the waiteress.
Anri Joubert
Although I wouldn't rate this as a top class restaurant, it has a lovely atmosphere - especially in the back. It is a safe choice for a casual date night

Like a home away from home, this Mugg and Bean brings me so much comfort. The smell of coffee, the giant slices of cake, and the delicious soups in winter - everything is good value, with friendly staff and visible management at all times. The food is always fresh and well presented, the coffee is always good, and even though the service is a little distracted at times, it's always pretty friendly. This is the kind of place I could happily set my laptop up at and kill a good few hours. Plus, it is right on the edge of the mall and has a lovely view! Score!

The Mugg and Bean in Cresta rates very average for me. Service is very slow we usually sit outside and it took forever for the waiter to take out order. We had the nachos which were lukewarm my son had a milkshake which was ok and I had a coffee which was good.
Kevinmaa@telkomsa.net
The food and service is ok. But sometimes
you have to wait a while to be helped.
