The food is 10/10 minus nothing. So simple yet tasty yet filling. Had a seated meal as well as a take-away. Definitely will be going back next week.
I’m not the biggest fan of the location. I finds it to be hidden and it’s not exactly the place you’d ideally dress up to go to eat out at.
The staff is really friendly and helpful though!
Tried this place for the first time. They have a cool range on their menu and if the burger I had is anything to go by, you won't he disappointed. Food is great quality and super tasty. See you again sometime soon.
I absolutely love this place! Delicious vegan food and friendly customer service! They even have a rewards program! A good selection of ready made sandwiches, wraps, salads, drinks, and other vegan products. You can order delicious food to be made as well.
Paul was the man behind the counter that welcomed me into the store. He is a star! Really awesome and friendly. Thanks for the great service!
It’s a small space but comfy, seating inside and outside. You’ll notice it immediately in the corner when pulling into the gas station.
This is a definite visit for delicious vegan food and awesome customer service!

Friendly staff in this very popular Saturday morning eatery. I am not a vegan but I found the food tasty and wanted to try the Beyond Burger I read so much about in the press. Tastes like a burger (not the cheapest burger but that's not the point) Other foods reasonable priced. Not much seating so people perched on walls etc but at least lots of parking in the petrol station forecourt.
So worth travelling all the way from Boksburg, such good food 😀
Had the tofu facon sub today and oh my... I ate everything and I don't even feel guilty.
The beyond burger is amazing! Tastes so good. The burgers were luke warm when they cane out, would have preferred them to be hotter. Got some stuff from the store to take home and so far the vegan cheese is amazing. My boyfriend who is the vegan is over the moon that he's able to eat cheese again. I would highly recommend that you visit this place.
My daughter and sister attended a National Karate Competition on 26-27 May 2023. The Fussy Vegan very generously supplied our meals on competition day. We were so delighted by the phenomenal food and mindful and friendly service that we returned again to Fussy Vegan for lunch before heading back to our hometown. We are returning again to Johannesburg in the near future for sports events and have adopted Fussy Vegan as our official pit stop for fuelling up.

The food is delicious, creative, and inexpensive. Better for takeaway as the outdoor seating is exposed to unwanted smells from the garage, a bit noisy, and too sunny, the indoor seating is not enough. It is understandable as it's a small place, but just keep this is mind.
Tried out the Beyond burger for the first time, and i am very suprised. Texture is great, patty is tasty. nothing really to fault. Do not expect a full beef patty taste, overall its a really good burger. Staff is friendly, although food does take a bit longer than usual.
