What’s there not to like? This place is a hidden gem! The manager and waiter we had that evening were so friendly and helpful, wish I could always meet staff like them when it comes to eating out. Wednesday they had a buffet special which was incredible for what you get. From crocodile to sushi, you could have a pick of whatever tickled your taste buds! The menu itself had quite a selection and all of it sounded so tasty. The atmosphere is relaxing and casual. Definitely a good place to unwind. There’s a kiddie’s area and a smoking area too. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Birthday celebrations, and very curious about Taste 4 Mozambique. Our waiter was a delight, attentive, you empty one plate, he is there to take it away! Buffet is a must, although I only went for the prawns. Plates and plates of prawns, in a lovely lemon butter sauce. Soft, and sweet as a prawn should be. My husband tried crocodile, red snapper, and other lovely dishes. My son had sushi to his heart content, freshly made. As a birthday treat on the house a round of "shots". The background music adds to a very relaxing vibe, and place that plays Chuck Berry gets bonus points with me. Will visit again, as this is value for money, just make sure you are hungry!

Best breakfasts ever! Very reasonably priced. The food is amazing and the drinks are cold. What more would you need?

Best restaurant in town... If your looking for something deffirent, this is surtenley the best restaurant to go to... They give the best specials and have a buffet where you can eat as much as you like... They also have a beach where there is life entertainment and a wonderful kids playing area... Dont think twice about... Get to Taste 4 Mozambique and have a blast of a time... A time witch you will never forget or regret... We also have the biggest fumctions and the best nights to have a gathering or a party... This is a Taste 4 Mozambique...

Delicious food. A must try! The Crayfish was awesome and the buffets are also well worth it!

Omw this was amazing this platter for one but if you dont like eating alot this would be perfect for two people enjoy service iS really good and really good vibes 👍💯👀thanx🙂

Unique... This was the second time I've been here and honestly the food wasn't as great as my 1st time... Lekke place otherwise...

We had a great experience with the buffet. The food was very tasty and fresh. The dessert was a bit disappointing, but we mainly went for the seafood buffet. Drinks are quite expensive and they did not have any draught beers as there was something wrong with the machine. I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely go again!

Went for the first time during a weekend night. The atmosphere is good, especially the beach area which is pretty cool. Waiters are a bit slow but not sure why. The food was good, be great if they served chips but that's their decision.

What a wonderful experience we had on Saturday. The Chorizo and ribs was absolutely superb and my husband had the prawn platter, which he said, was the freshest and best he has ever had. Sarah our waitress was always ready to take our order and assist wherever she can. This restaurant is a real gem!

Excellent service despite every table being taken. The food variety and taste explosions where awesome. The live musician played a great selection of favorite and engaged the audience. Definitely for the loud and young at heart.

Nice vibe! There is sea sand outside which is very unique and contributes to the atmosphere. The turnaround time for refilling empty containers at the buffet was a bit of a problem at times and I was wondering is they are better prepared when the restaurant is really busy. Otherwise, the food and prices are really good.

Was the first time we have been out in 6 years and thought this would be an amazing evening, at over R200 per person for the buffet I was expecting much more than what we got, absolutely everything was just drowned in lemon sauce and it just destroyed the flavors of the food, even the virgin cocktails we ordered were nothing to write home about. The only thing I can give a good review on is the veggie station, everything was tasty and fresh. All in all not a good evening and definatly not worth the over R500 we spent eating mainly spinach and pumpkin.

Taste 4 Mozambique is a culinary Portuguese style Restaurant in Montana North of Pretoria. It is located on the corner or DR van der Merwe and Sefako Makgato (Zambezi) as we use to know it.<br/><br/>It has taken over the location of a number of wanting but not succeeding Restaurants in the past.<br/><br/>Taste 4 Mozambique has a fantastic Vibe and atmosphere, with a number of different genres ad seating genres inside the restaurant. From the outstoops of Europe, Balcony's, fine dining, and not least event a full on Beach area with a full kidies entertainment area with jumping castles, climbing nets, schooters etc. For the not so active kids their is a play room where they could relax and whatch DVD or play shooting games. And note mondays kids eat for free.<br/><br/>Taste 4 Mozambique has customers as nr1 in mind. They greet and treat every person as if they have known them all their lives. With friendly staff and Management that frequently comes around service is above excellent.<br/><br/>The front desk staff is extremely impressive with greeting, welcoming, bookings and friendly.<br/><br/>Now the Food!!! With more than 10 Authentic true Portuguese Chef's in the kitchen their is no doubt that this is not a knock of Menu but very authentic and excellent. They have a huge quantity of dishes and styles to choose from and also offer Buffet 6 days a week, with every type of dish you can imagine start to end, including even sushi, prawns and even crocodile - yes really.<br/><br/>The qualities and tastes is out of this world, like no other restaurant in this country. Gordon Ramsy eat your heart out. <br/><br/>Bring yourself, family, company every one and join them for dinner or a Decorated party with any Genre and they will even do the decor for you. They go all out. You will eat and feel like a King/Queen at Taste 4 Mozambique.<br/><br/>Don't waste time make plan to get there ASAP!

Excellent service from Charles. The light menu is enough for a good meal good quality and interesting taste. Look forward to trying new things here.

I don't know if it's art imitating life but the decor kinda does remind me of a war torn African counrty. The food was not bad but the service was poor. We ordered and paid for rounds of double R&R "special" but we only got singles. The waiter also did not listen properly and things needed to be repeated and explained. Overall the atmosphere was a bit dead.

Attended a function at Taste 4 Mozambique in Montana Park and will not return. I was reminded why I dont enjoy buffet dinners and bad service. Service at the bar was horrible and then paying for drinks but then the arrogant bar man added it on the main bill which just left me shocking.<br/>Food was cold and bland and waiters look like they were confused<br/>Taste 4 Mozambique left me tasteless not to come back <br/><br/>

Next time we are in Pretoria, we will be eating at Taste 4 Mozambique!<br/>We just loved it. The outside are with the beach sand just adds to the experience. Awesome ordering Tipi-Tinto with Morango and not Sparberry ( would be even better if they pour like in Mozambique - 4 glasses = 1 bottle and NOT in tots ).<br/>The food is really good. I couldn’t decide on what to order so I opted for seafood platter for 1. More like 1 rugby team! It is massive. <br/>What I just loved was the way in which the waitrons have been trained. They were friendly and attentive, but not hovering over you like a nuisance fly you need to swat off on a regular basis. They paid attention. Our glasses were just about empty and they arrived with fresh drinks. I couldn’t fit one more morsel in my tummy and they offered to wrap it up. Didn’t need to ask for anything except the bill. <br/>

Enjoy the "beach side" outside. Feels like youre on the beach. Nice food and good service. Kids play area aswell. I recommend it for birthdays or big groups, lots of space. Good food aswell. Make sure you go there atleast once!

We visited T4M to have a quick bite to eat and ended up having Sunday lunch. The food is good there is a Buffet with a large variety of food to choose from as well as the normal menu. They also sell the genuine R&R.
