I've been wanting to go to this market since last year but never got a chance. When my sister told me she was exhibiting her artwork - The Feels - I thought, 2 birds, 1 stone.
Went on both the Saturday and Sunday, but got lost the first time. After much gravel road travelling I reached my destination. What I like about this market is the closed and open feel. Roof covered so there's no blazing sun hitting you. I can compare it to 1Fox - The Sheds, just without the walls. It was not that busy on the Saturday.
I tried to sample most of the food without going bankrupt. The stall that sells the 1kg steak make thee most succulent rump ever. There's a cocktail stall that knows their business.
The toilets are kept clean. The place is very chilled. Just don't go there if you don't wanna get your dirty, the gravel road leading to the market is quite long.
This place has be potential to be great but it needs to be full to be exciting. The food is great. It is worth a visit to this market but please be aware the stands are limited. My suggestion would be to hold it on a Sunday only and to pave the road to get to the venue. There is nothing bad about it and if you have kids it's a lovely venue
Great place to spend a day over the weekend. The food stands have exquisite food (try the Chicago Cheese Burger at The American Food Stand). Hazeldean Brewery's Radler Shandy is very refreshing, a definite must. An added bonus is that they are pet friendly with a very relaxed atmosphere.
Recently discovered the joy of slow markets. This particular market has a relaxed country atmosphere with its rustic cow shed stalls. The traders at the market work well together and throughout Saturdays and Sundays smiles brighten up your experience.
There is a number of wonderfully professional creators of the unique combination of tastes sights. Relax together with other market goers and pick your food while you enjoy the entertainment for the day.
Calamari & chips, Gourmet Fish and Chips, Breakfast Jaffels, Pap & Kaaiings, Fresh fruit salad with prawn or beef scewers are a view among the many dishes to choose from. Get your Beer or freshly made juice and something sweet for that extra special taste experience all under one roof.

Small market with a lot of potential. Love the idea of a shaded market. We came looking for a burger and a bear and that is what we found and a great pulled pork burger it was.
Wonderful day out! Feels like you are out of the city. Live music, craft beer and gourmet food! The gourmet vetkoek (especially the crispy pork belly one) and croquettes are amazing! Nice play area for kids as well. Will defnitely go again!

I have been there 3 weekends in a row. Absolutely love the vibe and the fact that it's open and there is space to sit down. Enjoyed a few of the vendors dishes but particularly enjoyed the pork belly. The people are very friendly and welcoming. This market has amazing potential and I can't wait to see where it goes.
Really enjoy the vibe, the craftbeers and great selection of food. Calamari is out of this world and gourmet vetkoek a massive treat. Couldn't believe how good it was. Previous trip we had panini's, very tasty, and loads of krokette which were great. This will grow into a Pretoria landmark soon.
