I see there is lots of review with low points and I understand some dishes arent the best compared to other restaurants and its not very cheap for surrounding Students however The staff is friendly and sincerely caring. You want good food, then order off-menu food. They can make a PERSONALISED order: say what and how you want it cooked- salty? Without msg? Another type of noodle? With chinese mushrooms? There is very few taiwanese restaurants in South Africa and this one isn't the best but if you know what to order then it can be very good :)
I've been there on three occasions and the owner has been really great and accommodating. We pre-ordered vegetarian dishes the day before and the owner surprised us with new dishes which are not found on the menu. Their fried rice is very nice and so are their homemade tofu (egg tofu / golden tofu). Be sure to ask about more traditional dishes!
Amazing food really worth the while. Sushi is a bit pricey but worth every penny! Really great food! Had a blast. They have an original dumpling sauce it is well worth a try. Would advice anyone to give them a try!
If you wanna try something more flavourful than just chop suey n chowfaan all the time, ask for their Taiwanese beef noodles, you won't be sorry, and also try a bubble tea when you feeling hot during the day
What the wind blew in, or rather rain. It started raining as I was close to the outlet and since I was hungry I'm any case I poped in. Very friendly staff attentive to everyone's needs. It's really not that busy but I guess its a brand everyone is still trying to get used to. The meals are a bit pricy especially when one is used to cheap sushi specials but it's totally worth it very well prepared with only the best quality food, I dipped a salmon rose in soy sauce and it seamlessly absorbed the sauce the quality is so impeccable. I hate their fancy plastic chopsticks and i ended up asking for wooden chopsticks coz I'm a simple girl with simple needs and i must say I was impressed with the look even of the wooden chopsticks. I was very impressed with my meal I'm only marking them down for the atmosphere.

I have nothing to complain about. The food was very good food and the owners are lovely people :) I plan to eat there again, and at some point try the sushi bar out.
The place is clean and the owners are very hospitable. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. The candles that were lit because of load shedding added to the ambience. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to try Asian cuisine.
It is definitely my favourite food with Chinese cuisine in Pretoria, my must go every time I visit the city.
I have been many times and not once have they failed. Every dish I tried is delicious and brings me back to my trip to Taiwan.
The owner is lovely too!
This is a marvelous little gem, that serves incredibly tasty food. The atmosphere inside is unpretentious, and during the day it's calm and quiet. On my last visit I had fried dumplings, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, and almond jelly for dessert...they were all very well prepared, fresh, and super tasty. Immediately when I arrived, I was greeted by the owner who showed me to a table, and from there the service was attentive and friendly. I will definitely come back here.
Here is a Chinese restaurant in Hatfield. Food is good, and it is kept clean! Owners are so kind, I love them. Thank you.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Food can be a bit slow to come, but it is tasty and worth rating as top-notch Asian cuisine. Wish they appeared on uber eats in my area
I’ve been going here since the beginning of the year, and even took my mom recently. There were a variety of vegan options for her, and the portions are large and good value for money. The service is great, with the manager/owner coming around each time I’ve been there to check if everything is okay. I love this place so much, I am never disappointed when I go there
My family and I have been eating at Hana over the past four years, and have consistently had a fantastic dining experience. Each time we visit, we can't help but appreciate how delicious the food is and start planning our next visit. The menu has a wide range of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Additionally, Sophie and her staff are exceptionally kind, personable, and accommodating. If you love authentic asian cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out.
Unpretentious chinese (taiwanese) eatery serving a really nice beef soup. Broth is fragrant and meat tender, noodles could be a little more firm (personal preference). I've only been there during lunchtime and have seen quite a lot of Asian patrons there, a good sign. I also hear some people travel there from far away for the soup. Fried rice is also nice and they seem to have a variety of dishes that looked great, though I didn't try and couldn't comment on the taste. Waiters are friendly and attentive.
We went there for a friend's birthday. Fast and friendly service! Yummiest dumplings I've ever had. Their bubble tea is also a must-have. Tip: order a large one!
I love the sushi from here. After my favourite Asian cuisine restaurant closed down Hana became my go to place for all things Asian food related. The staff is always kind and welcoming and they always remember you. They make amazing suggestions and always make sure your food is the best quality
Great venue for chinese cuisine situated in Hatfield. Access is a little confusing as it shares the downstairs premises from the City Lodge. There is however basement parking. The food is authentic "chinese food" and has great flavour and taste. The setting is a little bare, and open. Not much seating available, however I think their main focus is takeaways. Owner is super friendly and accommodating.
