We have never had a bad experience at any Spur Steak Ranch in the country. The visit we had over the weekend was not the best, but that was because my son was sick all over the floor and we had to move. The manager was there in an instant with cleaning products and assured us that everything is fine. We were moved by friendly staff and reassured all the way. I also want to mention the play canyon attendant who lovingly helped my daughter colour a picture of a bicycle and was so patient with her until she finished.

I loved the food we ordered, the service was great and the atmosphere is wonderful. It's a perfect place for the whole family to eat out while the kids get to play and have fun. Downs: The burger with mushroom sauce that we also ordered was a let down, the sauce was just big lump with mushrooms. When I requested for my baby's Mac and cheese to be packed to take away, the waiter put it inside a regular box, which was so bizarre. There's loadshedding but they have a back up generator that kicks in like 2 minutes or so, then we had to wait for over 5 minutes to pay the bill as the till wasn't connecting... which was time consuming. but other than that, I'd visit again

The food is great atmosphere wowed my kids played well and were comfortable felt a little bit safe . My only challenge was the waitress kept talking in her local language whilst I was struggling to hear her since I am not from around. I think if you see a person speaking English all the time it's not by choice I struggled to order more food and ask more questions . If anyone wants to go there please its am amazing place to be .

I made use of the pensioner special and it was good value for money. There was not the usual shouting masses of children in the playroom - which made it a really nice experience. Situated in Brooklyn Mall there is ample safe parking and clean, accessible bathrooms. What I appreciated was the staf's ability to accommodate a woman eating on her own.

I never come across such lovely reception and hosting from any spur ,the staff are extremely warm,welcoming , patient and lovely indeed,they really do care for their patrons ,it's the best spur ive been to this far ,thank you for the excellent service

I was really disappointed with the service. The restaurant was almost empty yet it took so long for the waiter to take our order, secondly we had to wait so long for our drinks to be brought to the table. When the milkshakes finally arrived they were not the thick Spur milkshakes we are used to, they were so runny and it just tasted horrible, it felt like I was drinking milk with sugar.

I loved my visit on 27th and 28th of July 2019. My Waiter, Leslie, specifically was EXTREMELY friendly and so patient with me because I stayed such a long time. Sihle (public relations) asked me how my visit was and even moved me to another table because I had to charge my phone. This Spur deserves an excellent review. Well done to team work too!!!!!

Pathetic excuse for a hamburger! Hard bun, thin slice of tomato, a single ring of onion, 2 tiny slivers of gherkin and a thin smear of sauce! Patty was ok. It came with chips and onion rings Price: R 75 ! At this price there are meat and hamburger places 100 metres away in Brooklyn design square at the same price, 2000% better. Go figure !

Cold food, poor service, manager did not check on us once, just sad to see the quality has diminished so. Got the distinct impression that we were neglected due to the fact that a larger table (presumably larger tip too) sat directly behind us.

Blue Mondays means Spur Burgers for dinner. Being in the area, we popped in for a quick meal. After drinks arrived, we order the Beef Burger and one Texan Ranch Chicken Burger. I always try to convince myself that whenever I goes to spur i'm going to find something i hadnt seen before. Or if i order something diffrent i'll learn something new. Today was the latter. I had a T-bone steak, medium, which was great around the edges but not so good in the middle. So next time, medium well. Ohh. And the service was good. Good job Phil!

Spur! What more can I say, good old styled classics! Popped in here for a quick lunch as we were in a hurry and were quite keen for an old school Spur cheese burger, chips and onion rings! The food was very good! By far one of the better Spur's I have been to. The staff very friendly and efficient.

I must say, we really enjoyed ourselves tonight! What a nice Spur. We were welcomed by friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere- drinks arrived shortly thereafter. To visit Spur on a monday night we knew the food won't take 5mins to prepare. Once the food came, we stuffed ourselves with a good tasty burger and crisp fries & onion rings. I might add the food was warm and still goldenly fried as the waiter served us. This spesific spur makes sure you get good portions of sides with freshly big sized buns. I'm sure to visit again, we left as a satisfied happy family.Spur ZA

The food is as normal any other spur the service is okay I think my issue is more the set up the tables are really close to each other this lady came in with a pram and it blocked almost all the space and spur is supposed to be family friendly. The lighting is rather dim aswell. Ya its not my fav ey.

Food is always good!! Burgers that taste great all the time! Love the onion rings... Chips could be better find them somewhat dry. But overall a good place for food. Noisy children play area is very annoying if you sit close by... They should consider moving it or monitoring the kids.

Was @ spur on my arrival was not greeted at the door so my self to the smoking when a waiter, ask me what i like to drink i ordered a castle draught and he told me there is no castle draught so i order a windhoek lager only after 10 min he returned with a windhoek draught not what i ordered so i told him its fine i will have it and then he said let ke go fetch a opener 1 only ti return in 5 min will definitely not see me again sowi!!!!

The new Spur breakfast special is my favorite and I pop in here regularly for the Burger night special. Their service is quick and the food is on the standard you would expect from a Spur.

with the food being normal average spur awesomeness, I can't give them a bad rating! but they have to pick up on service and the amount of time they make you wait for food! On a slow day it simply can't take half an hour for a starter nachos! Was nice anyway(:

They make a mean burger and the staff are friendly but I'm not one for screaming children in the background so I'll usually make a quick stop. They also make a tasty Milo milkshake and who doesn't love the good old birthday song sung by the staff.

You have to visit the Spur every once in a while just to check that thay have not changed the spicy buffelo wings recipe. Service slow, but always the same.

The kids just love this place. They can really get rid of some of that never ending energy. However i have the same dish each time, "Spicey Buffalo Wings". I think it is because all Spur's food taste the same. For the rest the food is not great and like i mentioned the only reason i go here is for the kids to play.

With my boyfriend being a smoker and Brooklyn Mall being a pretty smoke free place, we had to go to the only place we could find with a smoking section. Spur. Had a quick coffee before catching a movie and we had quite a good time. With it being my birthday, my boyfriend thought it would be cool if they bring me the famous "sparkler ice cream" - They actually did it and sang, despite the fact that I am 22 years old. Respect. Ended up having so much unexpected fun that we returned for another coffee after the movie. Well done to good service and great coffee!
