On arrival at Blackmores Modern Rustic Eatery, we were greeted with a warm welcoming.
The service is great and the food is excellent.
Would recommend to everyone to visit this restaurant at least once.
A lovely new addition te the blossoming Village! Comfort food at its best! The mac and cheese is creamy and dreamy, and the pork belly tender with crispy crackling!!
For dessert we loved the maple bacon ice cream! Service was very attentive and prompt. Think this is a real rough diamond.

13.01.2018 Took a drive in this hot heat to join some friends for a delicious lunch. I like this area of Pretoria as its filled with little gems to eat and so much to explore.
We indulged in various wines and I also enjoyed my favourite Dragon Fiery Ginger Beer. The staff were friendly and I liked the simple decor of the place.
For starters we shared the Chicken Wings marinated in Buttermilk - crumbed and deep fried, and the Tater skins which come with Bacon, Onion flakes, melted Cheddar and Sour cream. Fantastic flavours and cooked perfectly.
For mains I was going to give the BIG Bad Wolf Burger a try but I'm such a ribs person so I had to try the Cherry Bourbon Ribs, and it comes with 2 sides. Quite a selection for sides, chips / coleslaw / mash etc but I went for the pan roasted potatoes and something completely different for me - Mac & Cheese. Sadly I was not sold on the Mac & Cheese. The pan roasted potatoes were really yummy and so were my ribs. My only complaint is that my Ribs were not warm at all, it was practically room temperature.
My friends indulged in their Ribs, Burger options and even the Braised Beef and Mash. So happy tummies all around and a great afternoon with laughter for the soul.

What a fantastic place. Perfect for summer evenings. Food was top notch and the atmosphere was serene. Would definitely recommend! (Try their feta and peppasew steak topping you will be blown away)
I was there for a farewell dinner. they booked out the whole space/restaurant, though the service was still very good. I didn’t eat but the food looked AMAZING (little bit expensive).
you can take your own bottle of wine: corkage fee of R50 - worth it!!!

Had a really pleasant Saturday lunch at Blackmores. We were the only table, but I am putting that down to the fact that it's fairly hidden and off the main foodie streets in Hazelwood.
The service was really great and the food was good.
We decided on the jalapeño cigars and Camembert, cranberry and bacon spring rolls for starters followed by the pork belly and short rib. The Jalapeño cigars were a really nice alternative to jalapeño poppers dunked in a heavy batter.
The portions were generous.
An overall good experience.

I have had friends rave about this place and every time I read their menu it makes my mouth water in anticipation, so finally the day arrived where I could try all of the delicious menu items.
The restaurant was very quiet in the Tuesday night when we arrived, it was only us and another table. The interior is laid back and simple. There isn't really much of an atmosphere or vibe.
We sat outside and it was very bright with all the lights so it feels a bit stark but they have decorated the restaurant nicely and I love all the plants.
They don't have their liquor licence yet but you cancan are a donation if you would like a beer or a glass of wine. The service was good and the young lady that helped us was very polite and sweet.
Their prices are quite steep so we just settled on have a starter each. They then presented us with a little amuse bouche of a little toasted morsel of a mix of things and topped with radish. I'm not sure what it was, but it delicious and the presentation was beautiful. In the middle of the plate there was a small bowl of water and dry ice with mint leave that created the most amazing smell.
We then ordered the arancini balls, the open ravioli and the seafood hush puppies.
The arancini was quite nice but I'm not sure if it's risotto that was used in the mixture or another rice. The hush puppies were good but lacked a bit of seasoning in the actual mixture. The sauce that it came with was divine. It was jut a bit pricy. The open ravioli lookedlooked ore like an open lasagne but my friend said he really enjoyed it.
The manager and owner were very hands on and always checking up on us and the owner did mention that he was going to renovate a bit to create more of a vibe so I look forward to that and will definitely be back to experience it.

Very chilled Place, a place that you feel safe the environment is so friendly and not to forget the food is mouth watering please promise not bite your fingers😁😁😁

Its a nice and cozy feel to it, with these cool drawings on the walls and there's a bar section in the front. They have really great food!!! The staff is nice and friendly and very responsive.

The best hidden burger joint just off the main hangout in Hazelwood. Excellent burgers, quiet cosy atmosphere. Enjoy your meal there and then go party up the street

Excellent service, waiter was amazing, he knew what's on the menu and was able to recommend their crafted beer based on the beer you'd normally have. Absolutely amazing :)

Food was very good with their gourmet take on pub styled food. When we visited they did not yet have a liquor licence which is crucial for this kind of place. Waiters were very friendly
