Have been to this ocean basket many times and they never dissapoint. Service is fantastic with a smile, food is always great. In the centurion area this is the best ocean basket.
As usual we were once again not disappointed yesterday when we went out for lunch to our favourite seafood place. Excellent! Good food! Good service!

We had a simple meal (calamari and some sushi), as always we had good food at this branch.
When you combine good food and amazing staff its hard to stay away. We love the platters which cater to all our different pallets. Ocean Basket is our first choice for Sushi! A firm family favourite.
Updated 18-11-2017: Really great service and their updated menu - in specific the medditerasian sushi - is helping this franchise to go from strenght to strenght. Will be back again and again for fresh and innovative new takes on seafood
After their revamp this spot is looking amazing! The decor is fresh, modern and upmarket. Always have great service at this particular branch. Lovely that the waiter and manager recognizes us, even though we don't visit that often. Food is good too, feels like they have upped their game since the revamp. Super crunchy chips and crispy calamari (For Hubby). I opted for the trout and veggies (trying to be a tad healthier), but was not as impressed! Will try something else next time.

Sunday lunch with the family at Ocean Basket. Seated outside near the kiddies play area, I was quite annoyed with the sun as the umbrella we had was shared with another table. This didn't provide enough coverage. We enjoyed our meal though, we had 2 platters for two and a village salad. We also ended our meals with dessert which we didn't enjoy, the cheesecake was frozen, the panna cotta had a awful texture. Service was good, our server ensured we always had plates and water.
Cocktails,sushi and good food and dessert are my thangz. And since ocean basket has it all,it's a winner everytime. Today I had a 1litre long Island icetea cocktail, and although I don't remember the name,deep fried sushi as well as a platter for two. The juicy lemon butter sauce on the Mussels is also a winner.I throw this over all my food. A suggestion would be just a little more rice with this platter.Everything was cooked to perfection,I have no complaints. My son also enjoyed it because the new play area at the mall is tops,just disappointed they removed the ride-ons. Service was fast and friendly,keep up the good work.
I enjoy this ocean basket one if my favorite seafood places. It's tough to get a booking on the weekend but once you do, you are guaranteed fresh seafood. One of my favourite is the Portuguese sauce that they use. Amazing amazing it's the only way I eat my ocean basket fish n prawns. Great place friendly staff and an amazing view of rooihuiskraal from the deck.
I enjoy a glass of white wine, with the prawns and half chips and rice, the meals are consistent. The sushi is average here. Fish, prawn dishes are great.

Early evening is a quiet time but gradually the place filled up. My starter of fried calamari was exquisite: tender calamari tubes, lightly dusted & crumbed and fried. Served with salty lemon butter sauce. Delicious!
Sushi was as expected.
The service by Ashley - outstanding! Yanele, the manager, was kind and friendly too.
A satisfying meal.
Oh and the Dry White Housewine is good.
