The T-bone were absolutely stunning. Perfectly prepared and served with a smile. Well done to the chef!!!
Friendly staff, good service and still affordable meals. Can recommend this place if you looking for something that’s value for money. We had the salmon stack, fish and prawns and all of this were tasty.
Our first visit to this cosy bistro - while in an upmarket mall still manage to offer great food at reasonable prices - delicious tender chicken schnitzel with vegetables and fries from the specials menu - a steal at only R 70! This will become one of my favourites!
Have been looking in at Caffe Rossini in Brooklyn Mall for years. Central meet and chat for our extended family in Gauteng. Affordable light meals and great menu -- lovely music. Delicious Bobotie with rice, breakfasts (not oily) all day, very friendly, quick efficient service --they all become family. Close to movies and shops. Love the daily newspapers. Undercover parking -- close to Dischem in the Mall itself where you can sit and watch the world walk by. Time for a visit again.
So, I had no idea this place existed. I'm always keen to try out something new so I did just that.
I was impressed. My meat was really well done. Veggies tasted fresh. Spinach done just right. The chips had the perfect crunch to fluff ratio. The let down was the calamari. It was rubber.
The overall service was so lovely, my waiter was warm and genuine, the food didn't take long to make. Because it is hidden, it is away from the buzz of the mall and it always for intimacy.
I need to go visit again so I can try the dessert.

Whilst waiting for Dischem to open this morning , I decided to treat myself to some cappuccino . This was particularly necessary given the chilly weather.
I opted for the bar-one chocolate cake which was moist and oh so lovely.
The service was great , and my waitress offered me wonderful suggestions on what she thought I might enjoy.
I quite enjoyed my short experience and will definitely head back.

Visited the restaurant for a quick meal, not knowing what would be on the menu. We were taken by surprise at the reasonable prices of their meals, and variety of food offered.
My friend and I each had a spinach and feta quiche, and my mom had the curried mince!

Caffe Rossini in Brooklyn centre is always busy. They developed a niche market by serving tasty and budget friendly meals to shoppers and movie goers alike. In the case of movie goers, it happens to be conveniently close to Brooklyn Nouveau cinema.
I had morning tea and a slice of Fudge Picasso, a torte rather than a cake. Wickedly sweet, it consist of layers of chocolate cake, soft white cake, a not too sweet creamy white mousse topped with white chocolate ganache. Inside at the bottom is nuggets of caramel.
Delicious but if your'e a banter, steer clear! Rather go for the main meal specials
This isn't a fancy place, but the portions are reasonably sized and the prices are very palatable. The restaurant has a classic feel to it and it provides a comfortable setting for a meal at any hour of the day. True value for money in an authentic space!
